Good place but very poor management. It’s not worth the value of the spend. It’s good for somenone who wants to be indoo

The facility is in a good location with a good tarmac road from main mtwapa road and next to the beach. The houses are looking great. The unit we were staying in was very good and relaxing and the workers and the owners were very nice. The green environment and great plants and flowers gives the place a very natural aura that is rare and unique. Its a very good place with great property IF only it could be well managed.

The management of the property is a mess, very dis-engaged from a central point if view. The houses are run by individual owners. The host to the unit i was staying was really nice and she was keen to ensure we get the best experience. She was available and reachable. However, the central facilities are not managed well. For example, the pool is very dirty and not sure how often its cleaned, there are no pool beds for resting after a swim. Its so unbelievable there is no single pool bed in the 3 pools. There is a nice private beach, very clean, with no single beach bed or even a seat one can rest to watch sunset. There are some outsiders who bring plastics chairs and rent them to kes 100 for every single sitting. What a wasted leisure point. The locals even told us that people have complained alot about this. Honestly you can do better. The restaurant is managed by a 3rd party. To order food, you have to be given a number of the chef or waiter. As if this is not enough, they are quick to let you know that you should have booked their houses. In addition they not only charge you for delivery to your room but charge you for every single container the food is brought in. Again lack of centralised management of the services.

Disaster. Do not stay there, you will ruin your vacation

Nothing. I dont recommend this hotel for anyone. Not worth the money at all. Very bad

Everything is very bad Check in starts at 2:00pm, we were travelling from Nairobi to Mombasa so we arrived late, we arrived 6pm. There was nobody at the reception. After waiting, the receptionist came and told us that our room is still not ready and we have to wait. We waited for 1 hour 15 mins in the reception. They said that we are getting an upgrade. Actaully, this is not true. I booked a one bedroom with seaview, i got a villa of 3 bedrooms with the seaview I asked for, but they said you are not allowed to enter any room other than the bedroom. So where is the upgrade? We went to the room at 7:15 and the cleaning girl was still there changing stuff. Even though check in was from 2pm Well, we stayed. We slept with lots of bugs all over the house. No tissue in the house, no water even. They said we have to buy water from them. Not even coffee in the room. The house is infested with cockroaches. At 12am the AC went off. We called them to check and they said "sorry everyone is sleeping now, just turn on the fan and we fix it in the morning." So actually they turn AC off after 12am We went to the restaurant to have some food. The menu is very poor, we waited for more than an hour to get the more than poor food we ordered. The next day we were leaving to the airport, we asked to extend our check out a bit so we can pack and relax before leaving. They kicked us out and talked to us in a very rude way. They even lied that we did not open for the housekeepers. Very bad management. Moreover, no signs to tell you where the reception or the room is. No near uber, malls or restaurants. Very bad location and place.

Not much really. The property did not feel safe for a single white woman.

Nothing great on the restaurant menu. Pools were not clear. No lounge chairs. No locks on balcony doors. Only one lock on the main door.

Lack of electricity

Everything was great. The beach, the service the houses were great

Lack of electricity. We had to wake up everyday at midnight to fan our baby coz of the heat. They used to switch off electricity at midnight and also during the day. That made the stay not good for me and my family.

die räumlichkeiten und der ausblick vom balkon waren gut

die lage ist schlecht, man muss weit fahren um einkäufe zu tätigen oder um in ein restaurant oder bar zu besuchen. da dir unterkünfte untervermietet sind, ist es glückssache ob man ein gutes oder schlechtes management erwischt, unser management war grottenschlecht. 2 tage kein elektrisch (unser gebäude war das einzige, was am management lag), dann war kein wifi, dann kein fernseh empfang, die fernbedienung ging nicht und wurde auch nicht ersetzt, die reception wollte mit uns nichts zu tun haben , da sie sich nicht verantwortlich fühlten. eigentlich müsste man das geld zurück verlangen.

Absolutely not as expected. Service not at the level of the prices

We booked an “ocean view room” 2 months in advance. We got a road view room. After missing 2 appointments they moved us on the third day to a room where the bed was supposedly facing to the ocean, which however could not been seen. There were spots on sheets and towels and no warm water. No refund for the inconvenience. Furthermore The structure looks abandoned and nobody is around.

Management does not care and hide behind their staff. A property to be avoided.

The welcoming person was nice but without any mean to change the problems encountered at the property. The management kept hiding behind her.

The property is not located in the area it pretends to be (same property has two different names on booking.com, one located in kirifi, one in Mombasa). The location difference is a 1h drive. None of the elements below were highlighted before booking and payment: There was no hot water and when I have asked whether I could change room or find another solution, I have been proposed to boil water. The TV does not have program. You can use it for Netflix or Youtube. The cleaning is only done every 2 days.

Host took 30 mins+ to identify the house location - claimed they were new! Water heater not functioning, while the host knew, they did not care or bother to inform or rectify. No toiletries on arrival. Dirty linen in the wardrobes on arrival. AC limited use - host takes away the remote for AC. Broken amenities - dining chair, curtain rods. Sub-par cleaning - no towels replacement (shower, face, hand & bathroom floor) for 4 days! Host showed up to kick us out before check out day! Simply confused or dismal customer care. There could be better maintained houses but CB6-202 is not IT.

Very disappointed, and wrongfully accused and held out until we have to pay the microwave.

Check in was late night it was ok, the woman was nice and welcoming , the Area was nice pools and beach is nice.

he rooms didn't have Mosquito nets however, if something stop working you have to pay it. Microwave didn't work my wife reported no one come to fix it . now when she was checking out she was accused that my kids broke the microwave we didn't my kids know how to use microwave we use it all the time here in USA ,why I have to be responsible for old microwave that stopped working, power went off twice I was told I have never asked before to pay any electronic failure that don't have physical damage. my wife was held on by security and front lady for almost 2hours and was told pay 12000 Kenyan shilling to check out. No management One lady told me 8000, then they change the price to 12000 KS. We were told individual owners have different rules and over all poor management, poor WFI,

This place was comfortable, right on the beach with amazing views

The security on the property was great. I also liked that the restaurant was open after being out all day. There aren’t too many food options near by so having the restaurant on site was so needed. Nice, big and spacious. The AC in the room was perfect.

If you’re not there, the room isn’t getting cleaned which means your towels aren’t getting changed. The lock to the patio door was broken. Thankfully I was on the 3rd floor but if I were on the main level that would be a big no no. I also didn’t like that the counters looked dirty, so I definitely didn’t prepare any food even though there was a full kitchen.

Didn't get a chance to stay

The property cancelled the booking after it had been confirmed on Booking.com. We had to look for accommodation elsewhere late at night with small children who were very tired.
