Excellent communication with both brothers before and during my stay. Lovely room. Separate bathroom very clean with hot showers (and bath). Large, comfortable, well-stocked kitchen/dining area (including comfortable couch). Central location. View of nice garden with mountains in the background from my room.
Wifi was excellent in my room for the first day; however, for the final two days, there was no internet connectivity in my room - only very occasional and sporadic connectivity from the dining table.

comfy beds, good shower, Roberto and Emilio very accommodating and helpful
no hangers to hang clothes and no shutters on the window which looked onto street outside so a bit careful when getting undressed

Fabulous place..Great walks in area though really came just to relax, eat food, have a private room, etc
Nothing..... A washer /dryer would make it a 12*!!

Place was amazing and peaceful . Roberto was a great host.
I totally recommend the place. I have stayed for a week and Esquel is a beautiful town for hiking and many parks around.
Thanks a ton Roberto

Roberto, the owner, was very nice and helpful. The room was large and had a desk for working on computer or other. The shared kitchen was nice, well equipped and also doubled as the common area with a couch and tv.
The building has no sign or indication it is a hospedaje, other than a small number plate above front door matching street address in Booking.com. Check-in was quite bizarre. I arrived early (just before 2pm), thinking I could leave my bags and go get some lunch. The front door is locked, so you have to ring a buzzer to get someone to open door. A maid came, speaking only Spanish and acknowledged it was Hospedaje Amilcar, but said a few things I didn't understand and then closed the door. I waited a couple minutes and she came back and said tres minutos and shut the door again, leaving me standing outside until Roberto came home from work (he finishes at 2pm each day) and let me in. The shared bathroom on the 2nd floor is single-person use only. There are only 3 rooms on the floor, so it never became a problem the 2 days I was there, but definitely something to consider. The wi-fi was borderline terrible. It was on and off regularly and when on, was slow. Again, I was there only 2 days so didn't raise the issue with Roberto. Oh, and the water in the shower was slightly warm at best. Since only there 2 days, also didn't raise this issue with Roberto.

Emilio was such a helpful host. The kitchen was perfect and the room was a good size with everything I needed.
I couldn't get hot water out of the shower, I should have asked and I am certain it would have been easily solved but maybe a cold shower every now and again is good for the body...

Roberto is a great Host. We arrived in Esquel by bus at 06:30 in the morning and then walked to the accommodation. Roberte was already waiting for us outside. We were able to check in immediately. Because we still had to have breakfast (on a Sunday) and little was open, Roberto took us to a breakfast option. That was fantastic. Roberto also made sure that we could be at the bus station on time in the morning when we left. Roberto was very helpful. We wish him success with the further development of his rental opportunity.!

Beto's place is excellent. Comfortable, quiet, classy, it has everything you need to relax for a few days from the traveling/hosteling life. And Beto is a great host, ready to help with everything from currency exchange to the best place to buy a bottle of wine.
