The Meeting House is in a fabulous location and is a stunning, beautifully appointed property. Adrian was an attentive host who greeted us warmly and popped in to say goodbye at the end of the stay.

What a beautiful house, with so much space. We thought it was so interestingly laid out and the kitchen in particular had fantastic facilities. It had everything we could possibly need with local shops very near by.
The rooms are too interconnected and we didn't realise the two single beds were child sized - we ended up with 2 tall men needing to use this room due to how interconnected the rooms are. The parking situation could be made more clear before arrival too but Adrian couldn't have been more helpful in pointing me in the right direction.

The Meeting House is really spacious and so well set up for guests - everything so thoughtfully provided for. It was perfect for a group of family members and a great location too.
Really nothing. Possibly a larger rug to completely cover the bedroom glass floor

Ashburton in the centre of lovely town with loads of independent shops . This is a unique quirky house almost rambling from one area to another around a central court yard. Very old and stuffed with antique pictures etc. Like living in a museum -what a privilege ! The master on suite was stupendous.
The staircase access was a bit dodgy for the frail and allocating rooms was a little complicated to work out but not really a problem for us as one happy family. Our hosts were very helpful and kind and clearly very proud of their property. As indeed they deserved to be.

The location, so well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay, the stunning courtyard and adventure through all the back stairs and rooms..kept the kids entertained for hours. The house is stunning and the hosts were so welcoming and were more than happy to give advise on where to go and what to do. The house handbook was a great source of info. One of the best properties we stayed at.
The only improvement we could suggest is to the Wi-Fi as it was hit and miss.

This gem of a property and its owners made our stay one to never forget!
We are home and holiday blues have well and truly set in.
The property is out of this world and the hosts have included everything you could possibly need and more with so many thoughtful extras.
Adrian and his partner were always on hand to answer any questions and provided so many suggestions for days out which led to be some of favourite memories made whilst there.
We will definitely be returning and wish we didn’t have to leave. You would be a fool not to book this property so what are you waiting for go and schedule in a holiday trip that will hard to top!

Stunning property full of charm and character, beautifully renovated with a quirky layout. We loved the enclosed private courtyard with the Weber BBQ, (Weber charcoal also provided - happy hubby! :) The location is perfect - a short drive to the coast and the lovely beaches, or just a 5 minute walk from the property and for woodland and river walks or gorgeous Dartmoor with its tors and ponies. The town is really pretty, very friendly and not too big, with plenty of places to eat and some great shops. Everything you need is provided and Adrian and Jenna are the perfect hosts. We loved the little touches which made us feel welcome, such as the bottle of champagne on arrival. This was a perfect place for our family holiday and I thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Adrian and Jenna - we loved it!

Beautifully restored house in a convenient position to wander all of Ashburton's shops, galleries, pubs and cafes.
Well stocked house for self- catering, even charcoal for the BBQ has been provided. Fantastic space even with 8 of us staying. Two master bedrooms, another double and a twin. Three bathrooms and a downstairs toilet.
Ashburton is a quaint town close to the A38 and with easy access to Dartmoor.
The whole house is furnished with antiques and old paintings.
