Great location and amenities. Dock could use some cleaning

Dock and location on cove is great. Camp setup is ideal with two living spaces. We would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s our second stay here and we will certainly be back.

The home was nice and very clean. We enjoyed our stay. There were a couple of issues. Not enough towels in the bathrooms. Only one kitchen towel. The mattresses need to be updated. Loved the outdoor spaces. Great pier. We would stay here again.

Very clean! Kitchen is well equipped. Loved screened in porch!

Enjoyed our stay, if you had a covered area in front for parking several boats under with plug ins you would rent it every weekend. Great place!

For the past 18 years, our family has taken a weekend vacation to Toledo Bend. The place we normally would stay has just become too small for our growing family. However, this place had more than enough room for us to all spread out and enjoy some down time. The only “surprise” we had was that the wharf and boat launch is shared with a few camper spots along the road. We just weren’t aware of this, or we missed it in the description. It wasn’t a problem though as the guests that we did share it with were friendly. We would definitely recommend this place to large groups.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s such a beautiful property inside and out, and the sunsets were absolutely stunning from the huge dock. The house manager was lovely and very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at this place last year for a family fishing trip, so we were knew the setup with house, fishing dock, & boat launch. Once again it served us well! Everything was as advertised. We would stay here again.
The only negative was that the electricity to our whole area was knocked out by a storm that came through & had no electricity for the last 16 hours, fortunately it was cool enough to stay overnight. The manager Susie kept communicating with us about it.

I normally don't do a review but after thinking I need to do this. The back porch where all the sitting areas are needs pressure washing in the worst way barbecue pit that is on site the charcoal side is rotted out in the bottom really a fire hazard I read a comment that was three or four months old about the timer for lights on dock At water that didn't work well it is still broken why don't you just buy a new timer to fix it also pictures are very deceiving it makes it look to be house quality on the inside where it is not it's a trailer atmosphere it has a beutaful view to the water I just don't like to be mislead by pictures and verbal descriptions

LOCATION WAS ON POINT! HAD A BOAT RAMP, WHICH WE LOVED. THE PLACE WAS JUST SO FILTHY. THE BBQ PIT WAS JUST A MESS. NO PROPANE TANK AND WE JUST REFUSED TO PUT OUR FOOD ON THAT GRILL. THE DECK OVER THE WATER WAS SO NICE BUT WE COULD NO SIT OUT THERE BECAUSE IT WAS SO DIRTY. JUST NEEDS A GOOD WASHING NOW AND AGAIN. THE HOUSE IS HUGE AND HAD PLENTY OF SPACE FOR US, JUST NOT THE CLEANEST PLACE.

This place was great. Easy check in, very friendly owner, and great location. It was 8 mins to the Toledo town & tackle if anything was needed. The only comment would be that the exterior porch area should be pressure washed. We had toddlers and we had to constantly worry about what they were touching because the exterior area was covered in bugs. Despite that, this double wide had tons of space, two living rooms, and a great view. We didn’t bring a boat but the added boat lunch at the property is definitely a plus. For the price, you can’t beat it. Thanks for the accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay at Cypress Point.
The camp is very comfortable and the ramp and dock overlooking the lake are outstanding. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful sunsets.

Nice property and relaxing weekend

This property has the best view!! The dock with swings was the perfect place to relax.
The camp was very spacious, well kept and very clean! We absolutely loved it!
The road getting to the property was pretty rough so drive carefully. I find this is very typical for the Louisiana side properties. It's a shame really. Once we got to the property the driveway with huge loop driveway made towing a boat in and out extremely easy.
Thanks to the owners for sharing!! Truly a paradise!

Booked a stay at the Sabine Parish property for myself along with some family, friends, employees. We were in the area for a Plant Turnaround. The property was perfectly suited for our stay.
The owners have managed to group everything together that allows for a group to get a bunch of work done. The house is large with plenty of bedrooms, televisions, and kitchen items. They have also constructed a floating dock and the nest lighted walkway to the dock, with plenty of power outlets and lighting.
I'm not the best author for these reviews, but we highly recommend this property and will definitely return.

Loved the inside of the house. Very spacious for everyone to be comfortable. The sunset view was amazing both nights we stayed. My reason for 3 star in cleanliness was based solely on the outside areas. The dock and porches could really use a good cleaning. We also was unable to turn the dock lights on because the timer switch was broken. I would absolutely stay here again though. Very peaceful, relaxing with an unbeatable sunset.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sunsets were beautiful every evening. We loved the floating deck to park our boats but there was a huge spider issue from the lights at the dock. Our boats had spiders all in them the next day. Instead of having lights that stayed on all night it would have been nice to maybe have motion lights that just came on as needed. Over all though the house was clean and fresh smelling inside and everything worked well in the house and the property manager was so sweet and friendly. There was parking for us all with our boats. We will definitely go there again.

This was an awesome home and the location was perfect for us. It was clean and lots of room. Definitely planning on staying here again. Didn’t get to fish off of the dock but there was lots of room to do so. Planning on staying longer next time to enjoy it longer.

It was a nice location with only a little bit of issues. Most of the info was accurate, just wish we would have known a couple of things before renting. The dock is shared by other people renting the property in slots along the drive way. There was one bottle with a little bit of hand soap in it found in only one bathroom. No extra paper towels or toilet paper was supplied. The furniture on the patio and dock were covered with dead bugs and spiders. Lots of spiderwebs on furniture outside and some inside. In one of the rooms there was old food sitting on the night stand when we got there. We were told on multiple notes around the house to put all trash in trash bags or we wouldn’t get our cleaning deposit back, but there were only a couple trash bags supplied to us. To be fair, it was 10 women on this trip but it would have been nice to know to bring extra trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels. Plenty of cups, plates, seasoning, and utensils though! The AC worked great and overall we had a great time.

This was the perfect place for us to stay while in town. Plenty of space for 7 adults and 2 kids age 8 and nearly 5. Made great meals on the grill and in the kitchen, no one was in each other's way. Beautiful floating dock with swings and tables. Porch also has plenty of seating though the screens were not there, they have been having problems with wind. We hated to leave and look forward to going back for years to come.

Excellent for family!
Once a year we take a trip to Toledo bend. My husband, 3 kids, myself, my parents, my in-laws. This was by far our favorite of all the places we’ve ever stayed! Nice and spacious. We were 11 people this trip and not once did we feel crowded. Our kids had a blast running and playing in the huge yard!! The bank has a nice long slope. Boat dock onsite. I’ll definitely be checking availability here before looking at other camps next year!!
