I do not reccomend this property durung holidays, owners did not decorate for Christmas with even a simple tree or anything so it was a major inconvenience to have to take mine down from home and tote it with us so the children could have santa visit. The entire place was extremely dirty with pet hair, none of the windows were cleaned and whoever stained the deck just threw the stuff everywhere and made it look like a murder scene. The rental agency was very nice and was willing to send out a cleaning crew but after a 15 hour drive we just wanted our privacy. The coffee pot still had coffee in it and the cups were dirty. The cookware looked like cheap items that may have been left behind by previous renters. The heat never seemed to work downstairs and the one pullout rolling heater that was provided was missing a wheel making it a huge fire hazard. The only good thing about this place. The horseshoe pit would have been great if one of the rods wasnt broken but the firepit outside was nice for the smores we made. The internal fire pit was nice but made the whole place smell like propane the entire time. THERE IS NO PRIVATE DRIVEWAY! Very disappointed that the turn around area for the road was where we ended up having to park our trucks and suv. The location wasnt near anything, the closest store was a dollar general 15 mins away. Very disappointed that our family Christmas vaction was nothing as expected as the pictures led us to believe it would be.

The cabin is beautiful and the view is amazing however upon arrival the cabin had lots of dead and live bugs. It had not been cleaned. There was no water pressure and dishes in the dish washer plus the master bedroom lights did not work. We called the next day because we arrived so late, they came out to fix the lights and said they fixed the water pressure but it was not fixed. No one came to clean so we called back later that afternoon and we were told someone would come out but she did not even know that it was dirty. We also sent a message to the owner/manager through the vrbo app and no one has contacted us back. Loved the area and would love to come back but unfortunately need to find a new cabin to stay. Just another warning, try to arrive in daylight it was difficult to navigate in the dark.
