The property is located walking distance to downtown Garibaldi on hwy 101. There was noise from the highway but we were not bothered. There were numerous blankets, games and books. Adorable back yard area. It's an older beach place with some cute upgrades and decor. The beds and linens were comfortable. A few carpet stains and rust, to be expected at a beach rental property.
There were a few disappointments the biggest, advertised as 4 bedrooms. There were 3. We had all adults (3 couples and my handicapped mom) . One of the couples to sleep on the bunkbeds in the hallway (counted as a bedroom?) in a traffic area next to the bathroom. Great for kids, but not grown ups.
Secondly, the agency texted us the day of the dishwasher was broken and could not be fixed before or during our trip. I saw in an earlier review, it was broken so they knew this beforehand. There was not a dish drying rack making it even more difficult. I ended up buying prepared foods to minimize the dish use but that cost a lot more.
Third, we received an email stating we could not have guests without written consent. Since this was a family wedding weekend I called to get permission. They said they would not allow more than 12 total people there. It did not state this in the listing. We are in our 50s to 80s with positive rental reviews.
Overall, great location and place, but listing needs to be accurate so guests know what they are renting.

We wanted to take our adult and teenage children to the Oregon coast to explore and spend time together. This was a perfect spot for day trips to the beaches followed by evenings together around the house and cooking family meals. There was also plenty of room for everyone to spread out and get some alone time. It’s conveniently located near a pier where we got a great view of the sunset.

Two main issues: (1) sent a message through VRBO on Monday saying the dishwasher wasn't working. After waiting 20 hours I called and was told I should have sent a text. Why have a VRBO inbox if it's not used? Was told they might be able to get someone out to repair the dishwasher--that never happened by the time we left on Friday and I didn't receive any communication about it. Was also told that maybe the people staying at the house could wash dishes. No empathy there. I also said we should receive a discount for the fact a dishwasher was supposed to be included in the rent and was told that wouldn't happen. Note—was offered a discount for our next rental which is appreciated. (2) there were no dish rags or sponges in the kitchen. Was told someone would drop some off--that never happened and there was no communication about it. Other than that, the home was clean, had lots of towels, enjoyed the patio area and ping pong room, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Since the home is right next to the highway, we were glad that it wasn’t much of a problem.

In general good. We were 4 single woman so we were led to believe it was 4 bedroom.
My critique would be 3 bedrooms with an open area that sleeps extra people.

We really loved staying right across the street from access to the bay and the crabbing pier. The house is in great condition and it's huge! We had more than enough space to spread out or get together for games and meals. 7 of us were very comfortable staying here. There is room for multiple vehicles to park here, even under the cover of the carport. Makes unloading very easy, even in heavy rain like we had!
We enjoyed close access to groceries, Tilamook headquarters, a short drive (under ten minutes) to nice beaches at Rockaway, a little longer but beautiful drive up to Cannon Beach and Seaside. There are good eat-out options within a short distance, but you need to check what days they're open. Off season like we were means some places are only open on weekends or Thurs-Saturday. Still - no complaints.

Charming older home, Four generations very comfortable. Property manager quickly responded to any questions. Yes, home is right on 101 but it makes the home very convenient to clamming, crabbing, beach town and the train ride. This home isn’t fancy but very comfortable.
4.7
Pros : Very spacious, outdoor sitting areas, walking distance to marina, covered parking
Cons: Right on hwy 101 so road noise, Only one giant coffee mug :) , no instructions emailed or left laminated on counter for what is expected of guest

We were a party of 4 adults. The house was clean, warm and had everything we needed. We based out of Garabaldi and explored the coast north and south. It was a great week.

Very nice vacation for the group to do some crabbing at Garibaldi! Tons of parking and boat space would rent again the near future!

The house was just what we needed for a work event in Garibaldi. There were 3 of us and we needed 3 separate bedrooms. Having 2.5 bathrooms was great! The interior of the house was mostly clean. The back patio and game room were not so clean. Kitchen amenities (knives, pans, coffee etc.) were a bit random and disorganized but we figured it out. With all the extra beds (many of which are bunk beds) available and ample parking, this place would be great for groups with children. I do think the listing could clarify the bed situation, as it was a bit confusing. Regardless, you can count on 3 separate bedrooms with full size/queen beds and a convenient location, right across from access to the bay!

We absolutely loved the house.it had everything we needed from the bbq outside to the sink. It was in the best location. The people in garibaldi are very friendly. We look forward every year to go back and visit.

The house worked out perfectly for us during our stay in town for the Oregon Tuna Classic. We hope to stay there again next year.

Wonderful house, all the amenities, owner was very responsive to texts. Plenty of room for everyone. Had my husband, son, a couple of his friends, my sister, and my adult son and a couple of his friends. Everyone had a great time, close to the shops. 10 minutes from Tillamook. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved the covered patio area out back and the deck, which made for great night sky gazing. The house was very bright and clean. We'll definitely be staying again in the future. Easy access for clamming and crabbing.

We all liked it and had a good time staying there.

Excellent property and well set up for fishermen! This house is dialed in to support a great weekend of fun for crabbers and fishermen!!!
Only downside and this is minor was the WiFi didn’t work and the tv channels when they worked were some crazy internet streaming thing. We went and watched the Duck game at the local bar!

Thoroughly enjoyed a much needed girls trip in Garibaldi. The house was super clean when we arrived and well appointed for all our needs! Great communication for booking and a easy check out process. Very cozy and comfortable for our group of five. Would definitely book again!

We had fun and had a great time.

A few minor fixes are needed but we spoke to the people in charge., The Fan upstairs, and the sliding doors in bathroom. I would rent again!
4.7
Overpriced
The ceiling fan upstairs is missing most of the blades, so it doesn't help cool at all. The sliding doors on the downstairs shower don't stay on the tracks and make it difficult to get in and out of. The garbage disposal sounds like it has something stuck in it, and I managed to get a metal thing that resembled a battery out of it. The drip pan on the barbecue looks like it has never been cleaned and caught fire the first time I was warming it up. There appears to be an infestation of carpenter ants. They were everywhere on the back patio. For what I paid, I was disappointed.
4.7
Very spacious wonderful amenities
Is close to street so traffic noise may keep guests in front room awake and difficult to cool upstairs.
4.7
Large space accommodating for large families
Excellent experience, only true downfall was the loudness of the street outside the windows where constant traffic drove by. But large enough to accommodate our entire extended family and close enough to walk to the beach. Loved the wine provided at check in, but there wasn’t a corkscrew to open the bottle.

Had the best time with the family at this location. We celebrated a high school graduation, a birthday, and a family reunion. Great location! You are minutes away from Tillamook, Bay City, and Rockaway Beach! The place was super clean and there was plenty of space. Love the Virtual Walkthrough (more places should have this feature). Communication with staff was friendly and quick. Would stay here again!!

Big place and the house has a good layout. Nice little back patio area with a grill, patio is sheltered so sprinkles were no problem. Covered car port could handle plenty of vehicles. I was traveling with one other person so it was more house than we needed, would work pretty good for 2 families or 3 couples, plenty of room. Contact was great and easy check in, all around was a good experience.

Garibaldi Getaway 3/11 - 3/14 2022
very well built home on 101 but noise in rooms are not very loud. Everything you would need in a kitchen. Lots of room for 10 people. Very nice location walking distance to town. Very nice wash station with hot and cold water outside. Nice carport for getting out of the rain. I stream TV, so a smart TV with some active APPs are on the TV and if you have your own account you can log onto your own APPs. I wish they had a standard HD TV antenna if you wanted to see your local news I was not able to find local antenna TV. Check in process is painless, check out process was great. Easy access to home when we arrived with a code. A couple of draw backs, if you have 6 or more guest, you will need to shower at different times otherwise no hot water just a small limitation and easy to work around. The beds were very comfortable. We were not able to enjoy all the outside amenities it was a very rainy weekend, but house is great for inside getaway for sure.

Winter Getaway
We enjoyed staying at the Garibaldi Getaway. Everything about this house is warm and welcoming. Cannot beat the central location of this property along with it's cleanliness. We loved the upper deck as well as the detached game room and storm watching out the living room windows was amazing. Great for a family get together by the ocean! We would stay here again!
