Starting with very friendly and hospitable owner to the house which is well maintained and comfortable, this place is great for a stay in VT. The fenced in yard was huge plus for dogs. Would definitely return.

Great place, great location, hot tub is nice, make sure you document if pre-arrival cleanup is os sub-par. Also...if you want real-time (cable) TV then plan ahead.

We had a beautiful time at this house. The house was super clean, fresh and well stocked. We had enough room for our children to play and relax. The hot tub was great as well, also very clean. Communication with the host was quick and helpful.
We really enjoyed!

Great location (we went to Stratton and Okemo to ride while staying), very easy to get to. You get exactly what you see in the pictures. The local contact helped us with all of our questions with very quick responses which was absolutely appreciated. I would stay here again and recommend to friends. We felt safe, clean, and cared for by the host in this location, and I would say that's all you need when staying somewhere other than "home".

We had an excellent stay at this property. Clean and lots of space for a bigger group. A short drive to Stratton Mountain

We stayed here over New Years with our family (parents and our infant son) and had an amazing time. The house is perfect for young children as there are lots of bunkbeds and no stairs. The interior of the house was immaculate and had clearly been renovated recently. The kitchen is stocked with all of the essentials (but only a Keurig, no regular coffee machine) plus an assortment of board games. Lots of extra linens in the closet and extra toiletries in case you forgot something.
The hot tub was a great extra perk - we used it every evening after a day of skiing. The house is in a great location to Stratton. Less than 15 minutes to the mountain but still close to Manchester for restaurant and shopping access. The house is right off the main road which would be great in the event of heavy snowfall. The owner was responsive and helpful. My only (teeny tiny) complaint or suggestion would be to add an extra couch/loveseat/armchair in the living room. Although the living room area is really open and great for hanging out as a group, the couch only fits 3 people, so we had to use the kitchen stools and chairs from the other rooms when we wanted to spend time altogether.

The house was wonderful! So cozy and inviting. We enjoyed time sitting by the electric fireplace or hanging in the hot tub. Plenty of great hiking and activities spots within a short drive.
The house itself is decorated wonderfully - just the right balance between inviting and feeling like we were in our own space. The kitchen space was great since we like to do a lot of cooking. The doggo loved having a fenced in yard to run around in and play.
We've already decided we plan to come back up and rent this same place again later!

We had a nice weekend getaway with our two dogs. The house is adorable and worked out great for us. It’s a great location with lots of nearby adventures, with all the ski resorts, hiking trails, delicious food and maple syrup. The Vermont Country Store is about a 22 minute drive but so worth it, for their maple cremees alone. The VCS is dog friendly, both on grounds and in store! We especially enjoyed “The Vermonter” for breakfast from the nearby Workhorse Cafe. Another great nearby find is J.J. Hapgood General Store and eatery, their Chive Biscuit breakfast sandwich and Maple Latte were very tasty. All stops we intend to make on our next visit! Thanks Chris and Rosa for sharing your home with us!

Nice, clean and new appliances. The hot tub was awesome and our dog loved the fenced in yard. Didn’t get to try out the fire pit but that was a nice touch as well. Close to Stratton and some good food options nearby too. Would recommend.

great house!
We had a great weekend stay at this house when celebrating a wedding of a family member at Bromley/.. We were close enough so the location was great and we loved this house. All was exactly as advertised and though some of the beds seemed rather short, we didn’t need them all for our group so all went well. The property was well managed and it was a positive experience.

Great house for a ski week
This house was great. Very modern and fresh with lots of space for our family to spread out. The great room was like a magazine spread of a ski lodge! We skied at Bromley (our favorite) and the drive was so easy and quick. It was easy to get to Viking, too, for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. A great home base for southern Vermont!

Great house, great location.
Exactly as advertised, this property was less that 15 minutes to Stratton. Fresh, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed by both the 20 somethings and the 50 somethings. We'd recommend.

Family Ski Trip
House was very clean and exactly as pictured. Cutely decorated and stocked with plenty of towels, soap, paper towels, and blankets. Only suggestion would be to add a second TV….not enough space in the living room for everyone to sit so another TV would’ve helped.

Great House for Dogs and Family Near Stratton Mountain
We loved staying here! We definitely will return. Communication with the owners was easy and they were so responsive to our needs. The home was very clean and comfortable, and stylishly decorated and designed. Kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed. Perfect for skiing at Stratton with a less than 15 minute drive to the mountain. Our dogs had a great time playing in the snow and the fenced in yard - just FYI for anyone with small dogs, they could crawl below the shed (part of the fence), so we just built up snow and they could not get out.

Great Decor and CLEAN
House was extremely clean and not cluttered so very nice atmosphere. And loved the decor of this obviously newly remodeled home. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the big island was great. A few nice touches that were greatly appreciated: tooth paste, tooth brushes, bandaids, tissues and bath soap. The only thing we didn’t like was the LED lightbulbs in all fixtures. Gives off very unflattering terrible glow. Even the kids mentioned that. We had pets with us so loved the fenced in backyard. It would be nice if the lawn was improved, would make it more inviting back there. Also, a nightstand with lamp would be a great addition to the master bed.
