About this apartment rental
Thuya, a functional and fully equipped studio, welcomes you for your professional or leisure stays, for a few days, weeks or months.
You have all the necessary comfort: wifi (optical fibre), household linen included, bed made on arrival, proximity to Chartres city centre. A secure key box is at your disposal to allow you to arrive on the premises without time constraints.
Accommodation
With a surface area of 17 m², this quiet and bright studio is located on the first floor of a small building with character (stairs).
It has a double bed (140cm), a TV, a functional kitchenette (2 induction hobs, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine) and a shower room with WC.
Neighbourhood
Located halfway between the upper and lower town, on the border of the bollards that regulate vehicle access, you are right in the heart of the historic pedestrianised city centre and close to all the shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars, etc. Have a drink at the Jungle Café, very nice atmosphere.
You can do almost everything on foot, walks in the pedestrian areas, along the banks of the Eure, visit the Cathedral and its crypt, museums, cinema, theatre... And on the outskirts, Chartres expo, the racecourse and the water park.
During the summer season, the ChartrEstivales association animates the heart of the city with numerous events and concerts. At the end of May, the medieval festival takes you back to the 13th century.
Not to be missed, Chartres en Lumières, from April to January, several sites belonging to an exceptionally rich heritage are illuminated. The Festival of Light is the highlight of Chartres en Lumières.
Transport
Halfway up the rue St-Pierre, you can leave your car for a few minutes at the foot of the building to unload your luggage and then go to the car park.
Free parking in some streets nearby, about 10 minutes walk
Paying public car parks: near Eglise Saint-Pierre, 100m away, Q-Park Hôtel de Ville 400m away (underground)
With Filibus transport, take advantage of the "Relais des Portes" service: two free shuttles run around the centre of Chartres from Monday to Saturday (approximately every 20 minutes). The nearest stop is Porte Barbou, which serves the SNCF station.

The end of stay cleaning includes the preparation of the accommodation for future visitors. Please leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
