My family and our dog had a great stay at Villa Nola. We stayed there in the middle of a snow storm but Oz was really helpful in ensuring we got all the help and support to make it a comfortable stay for me & my family. Appreciate her accepting our last minute request to extend the stay due to non-drivable weather conditions.
We enjoyed the cute cottage feel within the quiet residential neighborhood. It’s quite close to Heavenly and South of the lake but we couldn’t explore local areas due to the weather advisories. The kitchen was well stocked. Internet and entertainment options were great. If coming with large groups or families, please carry toilet paper, kitchen towels and trash bags.
Overall, we had a great experience and look forward to staying at Villa Nola in the summers

We stayed here for Christmas and truly had a wonderful time. It is a bit small as I anticipated but everyone has been so kind, the neighbors are friendly, and the owner is exceptional with communication. Nice calming and quiet location. Please beware if you bring your dog there are many coyotes nearby so please please keep all animals on leashes. However, there is a beautiful area at the end of the road and plenty of games to play with family or friends. The surround sound was pretty cool. The hot tub is amazing for relaxing, the shower gets really hot, the dryer squeaks a bit but dries extremely effectively. The beds are very comfy too! Bring trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels! They literally have everything else to make your stay enjoyable:) well worth the trip and the money.

My family and I went there during the summer. Great location. 10 min drive to the beach. 11 min drive to the casino. 24 min drive to Emerald Bay. Big enough for our family of 4. Probably can accommodate a family of 6 comfortably too. They have beach umbrella, chairs, jacuzzi, TV in every room. Really a terrific cabin. Making the reservation was easy and they were very responsive.
6.0 / 10.0
Travel is all about expectations and unfortunately, we had a bit of a bust experience. We were unaware that air conditioning is not standard in Tahoe. I looked through many places to select this one specifically because it did not mention "no A/C" in the listing description and many reviews said it would be a great place for families. Knowing we had a toddler that needed to nap in the afternoons and that I was pregnant and didn't want to rough it too much, I was sure this would be the perfect spot. I wish I had known to ask explicitly.
The owners were responsive and helpful as possible about directing us to some fans and the cabin was well stocked with beach toys, blankets, infant crib, and cookware as many reviews have stated. The location is quiet and very convenient to South Lake Tahoe hiking and Heavenly resort. We enjoyed a lot of the parks, gondola ride, some hikes right around the house and more. Truthfully though, our stay was almost unbearable due to it being so hot inside the cabin in the afternoons and evenings--especially trying to nap with a toddler at mid-day. We ended up doing a lot of short or on the go naps which left us a crabby toddler, and going to sleep much later than we would have liked (the cabin fully cooled down by 12/1AM) which made us crabby parents. If the weather had been different, this would have been a much better experience overall.
The owners did update the listing to my knowledge for future renters. With temps overall getting hotter in the area, it would make a huge difference to put small A/C units in the bedrooms for the couple weeks a year it is hot. For some families, that is the only time they get to experience Tahoe. For us, it had a hugely negative impact on our experience.

Nice house close to South Lake Tahoe
for me the location close to Pioneer Trail half way between Meyers and SLT was perfect for hiking excursions and bike riding. The house is very nice and the beds are comfortable. Only issue was the heat in the late afternoon. But it cooled down in the evening and fans in the bedrooms helped to cool the rooms down before bedtime.

Cute cabin with some fun extras!
Cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood that is away from the more crowded spots in South Lake Tahoe, but only about 10 min away so no big deal to drive to whatever we wanted to do. We enjoyed some of the extra touches....hot tub on back patio, corn hole to name a few. Great communication with hosts as well! This was our first time to Tahoe and we loved it! Wouldn't hesitate to book this cabin when we return!

Nice Cabin
My family and I enjoyed a nice little two day stay at the cabin. The property owner offered us early check in prior to arrival which we took advantage of. Arriving at the cabin there is a ring canera at check in and a keypad as a door key. The kitchen and living room was was very spacious and we were able to meet with my sister in law for a birthday dinner who also rented a nearby VRBO we met for dinner around 7:15 and my sister and family left around 10:15 however upon check out the property owner did state there was a noise complaint (that was a little disappointing considering it was within the city guidelines), definitely not a good choice of neighborhood if you have a larger family. The kitchen counters were very clean as i wiped down with my personal clorox wipes prior to using. The Bathrooms were decently clean, and the beds seemed to be nicely put together but did have a little dust/debris. Upon check out we were required to do a checklist of cleaning which included loading dishwasher and starting, stripping off bed sheets only and throwing in bathtub and leaving comforters and blankets on top of bed. As well as taking out trash and recyclables. But, was a little confused on because we did pay a cleaning fee. This was our first stay in a VRBO so maybe it is normal to do such cleaning as well as paying a fee. There were some communication gaps in the VRBO APP, and worked through with the property owner who seemed to be rather understanding after discussing more thoroughly. They had board games available for use during your stay, they also had some doggie beds and additional blankets available for your pet, and some extra blankets available for while sitting on couch and they also left a welcome gift of a small microwave popcorn and a bottle of chardonny. The home decor was very beautiful the bedding was the cutest. I will definitely be more cautious when selecting another VRBO but over all had a great time in this home. Thank you.

Very nice place
Good value place to stay in a quiet residential neighborhood of South Lake Tahoe. Great wi-fi, very clean, and pet friendly with a dish for your dog’s water a dog bed and a big back yard with a squirrel. Loved the hot tub, and well stocked kitchen. You need to have a hulu account, or a portable Roku to watch TV.
Only issue is beds are “full” size or smaller, and being accustomed to a “king” size bed, my wife and I chose to sleep in separate beds, which were in separate bedrooms, but if there were 2 couples, someone may not get a good nights sleep.
We will rent again when in Tahoe.

Great Little Cozy Cabin
It was easy to book and great communication with property owner. Perfect for a small family, one room had 3 beds in it Perfect for kids, then the master for parents. Great living room and kitchen in one space but pretty big. Don't forget about the hot tub perfect for 2 adults. Finally we really enjoyed the location, 10-15 mins from anywhere you want to go and awesome trail at the end of the street where we sled for free and walked the dog! Overall super satisfied!

Cozy home at a great location!
We enjoyed our quick visit to the snow here! Wanted to bring our toddler to see it for the first time and it was perfect for our needs. 10-ish minute drive to heavenly, snow on the streets in the neighborhood weren’t too bad, and had some snow in the yard to play in! Hot tub was perfect for our small family and house stayed warm throughout the night. Host was responsive and delightful. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it!

Loved our stay
This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 plus our dog. We were nervous looking for a place to rent that allows pets because they can be pretty dirty, fortunately this was not the case. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place seemed up to date. My only negative comment, which is really personal preference I believe so nothing I would knock them down a star for, is I wished there were curtains or blinds on the 2 sets of sliding glass doors that lead out back. I feel like it would really help knock down the draft and we maybe wouldn't have had to keep the heater running.

My family and I went up for Christmas and had a wonderful time in the snow. Cozy place with plenty of games to play. Friendly hosts that were very communicative which helped us enjoy the stay. Quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing.
This property is a real gem. I have a very specific list of what I like in a vacation property and this one hit all the marks, start to finish: excellent communication, great neighborhood, easy access, tidy, property as described. Interior was clean, beds had high quality mattresses and fresh linens, with a good number of pillows on each bed,. Nice, new, fresh towels. Fans available in each room, on-site washer and dryer. Fantastic WiFi, numerous charging stations in each room. Nice supply of cookware and pantry items, nice sharp knives, plenty of dishware and silverware. Fantastic deck in roomy backyard. Nice neighbors, seemed to be mostly full-time residents so it was mellow. Location is great, not only because it is away from the crowds at the lake, but specifically because it is far enough off of Pioneer Trail so that there is no traffic noise besides the odd car on the small street. Our own kids are all grown, but there were a lot of amenities that young parents would enjoy, such as safety gates, games, etc. We had a lovely, relaxing time. Super thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend, book with confidence. [Wish I could keep this place a secret so it will be available when I want to return ;-) ]

Cute, clean little cabin!
Loved staying at this property! The location is great with beaches 10 minutes away. Working with the owner to get booked was a breeze and she answered all my questions big and small in record time! Be sure to read all the amenities that this house has on the property listing, this house is stocked! It was great knowing I didn't have to pack or rent beach chairs or beach toys! It was great to cook our own meals at the house too. The neighborhood is quiet and it was such a calm and peaceful vacation spot. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Family Gateaway
We stayed at Villa Nola four nights. It was the perfect, charming place in a beautiful neighborhood. It was very clean, bright and tidy, and had all the amenities we could wish for. The kids especially loved having a TV in each bedroom, and using the hot tub at the end of each day was amazing. The paint, windows, floors, kitchen and bathroom were tastefully updated. The vaulted ceilings give a sense of large space, yet we were cozy and comfortable. We can't wait to visit again. Thank you to Azadeh for being a wonderful hostess!

Great, cozy cabin
Cozy place for our family of four. Greeted with a welcome gift (wine and popcorn). Comfy beds and clean place. Azadeh, hostess, was in constant communication before, during, and after our stay. Place is close to trails which allowed us to explore the area.

Perfect Gem
I stayed at this property for three nights over the 4th of July weekend and my group absolutely loved the house. The backyard had plenty of space for socializing and the hot tub was the perfect addition to relax after a long day. While the house is a 2bd/1ba, there was plenty of space for four adults and a child. Property is located 10 minutes from the South Lake Village and is very easy to get to-and-from. Would definitely like to stay here again on my next visit.
