It was a good place compared to a hotel in both price and private space.

Ok place to stay but the furniture is very worn and crumbs and dirt in between cushions. Other than that the host was kind, easy to work with and the place was very cute!

Cute place. Comfortable. Easy trip to zoo and everything you need. My granddaughter loved the big chair.

Great location, can walk to several eateries, a brewery, and a tap house. We came down to play Tot Hill Farm and it was a nice 12-minute drive. Will definitely try to stay here again next time we play Tot Hill and other area courses. Highly recommend Holly Ridge.
Nice renovations, clean, comfortable

This property was just perfect for a Zoo trip! It’s in the middle of town and so convenient for all needs. The only thing I might complain about was the temperature in the house. It took a really long time for the house to cool off when we got there. Given, we did stay in the middle of summer, outside was averaging in the high 80’s and my family likes a cool house. This may not bother anyone else! Maybe add a ceiling fan in the living room? Other than that, it was a great stay!

Easy check in, property was clean on the surface but could use a good deep clean on baseboards, nooks and corners.
Overall, property served its purpose and was freshly updated.

It was a great experience! Easy drive to zoo :) Perfect for a small family. Steps are really deep on the porch, which may be difficult for some. Would definately stay again on out next zoo trip!!

We loved how quick the drive was to the zoo, our main reason for visiting the area! It was also within walking distance to some great antique shops and restaurants!

Convenience

We were pleased with the accommodations. The house is in a pretty quiet area, it is very nice, and not far from the zoo. We had an amazing time with our 6 yr old granddaughter! Owner of the house was easy to get a hold of and really nice. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks!!

Location: this house is located near downtown Asheboro, even close enough to walk to the main strip. I walked to Magnolia for dinner one night. Its adjacent to a road that is the one of the main routes to downtown and resultant of that you will hear traffic. However if you like to people watch the front porch will be entertaining.
House: the house could have used a good cleaning prior to our arrival. There were visable dust bunnies behind the bathroom door, under furniture and behind the bed. The washing machine and dishwasher were non-operable. The WiFi password was written on the chalk board but we were unable to connect to it. The TV had apps for streaming, but we were unable to use those due to the WiFi connection issues so we watched local channels. The bed was comfortable and my wife loved the circular couch thing. There was a leak on the shower head that was "repaired" with camo duct tape.

It is very convenient to stay in when visiting the zoo. Will most likely use again if I go back to Asheboro.

The second bedroom was a laundry room / closet. And you also had to go through the main bedroom to get to the closet bedroom. So my son slept on the couch.

Convenient location to downtown shops, local parks, stores, restaurants, only 10 minutes from the Zoo, and 30 minutes to additional activities in Greensboro.
Comfortable beds. Enjoyed the kitchen and large screen TV.
While the neighborhood view and yard aren't spectacular, we weren't expecting them to be, and it didnt impact our vacation experience. We really enjoyed lounging in the front patio rockers.
For the price, location, and great service, this property was spot on for our 3 night vacation.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. It’s a convenient spot for short stays like zoo trips and visiting surrounding attractions. The house pretty much looks like the online photos, but there are two things that just didn’t sit well with me.
1) A deep cleaning, even just a more thorough cleaning, is long overdue. There was so much food around and under the couch that I shuddered to retrieve the remote when it fell on the floor. Lots of dust in the bathroom. There are tons of smudges and handprints on all the doors that a quick swipe of a magic eraser would do wonders.
2) Check the windows because they were all unlocked!! It was a little unnerving to be honest. I checked them all and locked them. The window sills are also very dirty and the blinds so old that they were tough to work with.
The neighborhood is ok. Lots of cars with loud music at night but no real foot traffic. It is conveniently just a few blocks away from the quaint downtown area with good restaurants and shops.

Close to downtown for restaurants. Went to zoo which was close by. Suited our purpose which was a place to sleep that was clean and centrally located

I walked with the stroller to downtown and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. We had the smokehouse for dinner and breakfast at a delicious nearby diner.

We stayed at this cozy location while staying locale to visit the zoo.
It is exactly as advertised. It is off the Main Street of the older part of town, which is quaint and not too busy. It is also right around the corner from a coffee shop!!!
Will definitely stay here again if when we head back to visit Seagrove or go to the zoo again.

We stayed one night so we could get an early start to the Zoo the next day. Very pleased with this cute duplex unit. The owner was very nice & helpful. Clean & well stocked with towels, sheets, blankets, dishes coffee. Comfortable beds & a big sofa for all 5 adults to watch tv. Would absolutely stay here again. We really enjoyed it.

Stayed here as the first leg of our NC vacation. It was a perfect spot for crashing after the zoo. Fit our family of 6 comfortably. Appreciated the washer and dryer. Would stay again for the same purpose.

The place was very cozy and welcoming. No problems at all while we were there. Both beds and couch were very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Kids enjoyed the TV and wi-fi. I think that housekeeper could do a better job on some areas. Dirty under beds, for example. Food/pet food from previous guests still in cabinets. Other than that, it was great. We had 7 people and there was more than enough room for everyone. Bathroom was nice. We enjoyed the fact that shampoo/conditioner and body wash were provided. Similar costs as nearby motels, but MUCH better. Family in the area, so we will definitely stay again.

The outside was a bit offputting. But the inside was recently redone with lovely flooring my 2 issues are that the kitchen sink was turned off. Possibly a leak as there was a bucket under the u pipe. At first it smelled lovely but soon we were overcome to the point i had to hunt out and unplug the frbreeze plug ins lastly the tub is extremely slippery needs a mat or the traction stickers

The owner/manager was very responsive and very accommodating. We were arriving after dark and I requested that some interior and exterior lights be left on which he happily did. The house is super clean and was perfect for our weekend stay!

Property was exactly what we needed. A nice quiet get away for the holiday weekend. Excellent location in close proximity to the NC zoo and restaurants. Easy check in/check out. Communication with owner/manager was spot on, answered all questions and replied quickly. House is clean, cozy with everything you need from morning coffee to wifi! Would definitely stay again and recommend for anyone needing a comfy, clean get away!!!!

It was like home away from home. The children were just as comfortable as if at home.
A 5 for sure

Good for the price!
Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was good for the price we paid,
To clarify, its not really a two bedroom, it's more of one bedroom with a large closet
Some of the Tupperware and glasses were not clean
Couch was extremely comfortable, could easily sleep 2 people well.
The overall location and property left us feeling uneasy at times, lots of sirens and cops went by, very close to the road, we heard a lot of loud vehicles drive by
Basic spices were provided, a good amount of pots but for cooking purposes you will need to bring your own oven trays and sheet pans
Very close proximity to the zoo, aviation museum, and motorcycle museum.
Modern tv with YouTube/Netflix etc
Owner maintained great communication
Plenty of towels were provided
Our group overall enjoyed our stay, and had a great time.

Perfect location!
In the center of Asheboro, convenient to the many assets of the center of town. Very clean and quiet w/ all the amenities one would need. The Biscuit Company is the best. Washer/Dryer a plus!
