About this house rental
Quail Country is an incredible home for a perfect mountain getaway. The four bedroom two and a half bath home is filled with little nuances and and fun to help you escape the hustle and bustle of "real life." This quiet and serene location doesn't mean you are far removed from restaurants, shops, skiing, mountain biking and more as they are all very close.
A large dining room table is perfect for everyone to gather around. A fully stocked kitchen is perfect for cooking up a meal for your entire group. A washer and dryer are available in the house for guest use. The home has a driveway that easily accommodates two to three vehicles and additional vehicles can park off the street or in resort parking lots.
While the inside of the home is awesome with 4 smart TV's, comfy furniture and brand new appliances and reading nooks in two of the bedrooms, and really neat children's play room, the real centerpiece of this home is the back yard. String lights, outdoor dining, brand new Blackstone Griddle (yes, it is already seasoned), a fire pit and a brand new (completely awesome!) hot tub might make you want to spend your entire vacation outside!

Our stay at Quail lodge was perfect. The bedrooms were quite large. The deck was really nice for cooking out and the kids loved the hot tub. Lastly, it is a very short drive to the resort attractions.

Enjoyed the space in the house with our group of 6! We were all very comfortable. So much to do near the house and also just a short drive away there are so many places to enjoy!

Home was perfect for our short stay, kitchen had most everything we needed. A little disappointed that we couldn’t use the Blackstone because grease trap was overflowing onto porch. The light switches were covered with dirty fingerprints and our dog found lots of chips, popcorn and paper clips in the living room.
All in all, Kevin is very attentive and house is absolutely perfect, just needs a more attentive cleaning crew.
Thank you for sharing your home.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was super clean and we had plenty of towels and glasses for 7 people. We absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pit! It's also really close to everything on Massanutten. Overall it was a super convenient location and a great stay.

We had a wonderful time. We were in the area for JMU graduation. It was the perfect place to relax and regroup.
We didn't have time to enjoy all the extras as it was a busy weekend. There were logs in the firepit. The outside lights were lovely. And my niece was fascinated by the deer that wandered through.
Would stay again.

This house served us well for the two nights we were in town for a baseball tournament. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The black stone however was filthy and we were unable to use it. The grease trap was full so we were not going to try to clean it. There weren’t a lot of towels and the dryer took a very long time so we hung towels outside with the nice weather. Overall the house was not very clean, quite possibly because no one had rented yet in the summertime. There was winter hand soap in the bathroom upstairs. The beds were okay, comfort wise, but the pillows provided in the bedrooms upstairs were poor. We were also very cautious when pulling in and out of the gravel driveway as there were a few ditches. If staying in the area again, we will likely look for a different property.

Excellent place, clean, quiet, good location, well-stocked all around, and close to loads of attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay during JMU graduation with family. The house was lovely and we had plenty of space for all of us to hang out together or find a private space to catch up and chat. Just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy hiking and other activities close by!

The house was very clean and all was as advertised; we also were able to bring our 12lb toy poodle, which was a huge bonus. The hot tub was absolutely amazing and also very clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings hanging out in there! The house was very close to everything we wanted to experience during our stay at Massanutten, including the go-carts, putt-putt, tubing, zipline, and the waterpark. The neighborhood was welcoming...many people waved as we drove past. In that regards, it was a wonderful place to stay! There are a couple of reasons why we may not stay there again, however. First, the beds upstairs were harder than any mattresses I've ever slept on in my life. As a matter of fact, we made our teenage son switch bedrooms with us, thinking it was just our bed, but no, it was both of them. We did not rest well either night. Additionally, there were several spots on the carpet upstairs where animals had urinated. I understand that there could be an accident in a pet friendly home, but I would hope that some attempt would be made to clean them. Overall, we were glad to have stayed there, but probably won't return. I waivered between a 3 and a 4 rating overall for this property...the hot tub pushed it over to a 4! (Did I mention that the hot tub was amazing?)

Clean and fully stocked home with great view of deer from backyard. Hot tub with outdoor lights is a nice touch. Keypad on front door did not work, but Property Manager responded with minutes to help replace the battery to get us jn. Only wish would be for larger beds upstairs and for the TV to work in the cute kid playroom.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were looking for a place in the nature to celebrate Thanksgiving together, our children and grandchildren. First time we were all together after Covid. The house was absolutely perfect. Our grandchildren loved the playroom and the yard with the forest. The kitchen had everything for all of us to cook our holiday meals. We all loved the hot tub. And then all bedrooms and bathrooms were well decorated and the beds very comfortable. The house was perfectly located so we could enjoy the resort amenities. We want to come back. Thank you for sharing your home with all of us including our dog!

This house was exactly as described online. It was clean and had all the amenities of home. We were bummed to not be able to use the grill or firepit due to rain all weekend but did use the hot tub. It is an easy drive to Harrisonburg and we definitely plan to stay again next time.
