Make a memory by booking this rock themed flat! So many signed guitars (maybe 18?!) cool furniture, but the amp-fridge is the most creative. Stay & treat it with care.

Our ‘Hard Rock River Resort’ stay in New Braunfels was great! Larry and Mary have their place set up so cool. They have a dozen or more signed guitars and other rock decor that made it special for us classic rock fanatics. We had all the amenities and being right on the river was nice. Amazing yard views. Wish we could have stayed longer. We were there for Schlitterbahn and were very close. Next time we’ll walk to the water park and save the lot fees. We highly recommend the stay.

We were extremely satisfied with the Condo. It’s one our favorite places now. The decor of the VRBO is like staying at the Hard Rock Cafe! Will be staying there in the future!

If you want to be pampered, come stay here. Definitely, home away from home. Owners are amazing, property amazing. No words, just stop looking and book it! Best views on river centralized location near so many wonderful things!!! Just start packing.

This condo is in a great location for all that NB/Gruene has to offer. It is close to the water park, restaurants, exit points from the river, the fairgrounds, and Gruene. The guitars and other rock-themed decorations are very unique and really cool. The unit was clean and spacious, and Larry was quick to respond when we had an issue with internet connectivity. This condo is an ideal spot for a family or small group of friends to spend the weekend and enjoy New Braunfels!

We loved staying in this unique, quaint condo beautifully decorated. Nothing like it and even shared pictures with our two kids who love music. Great place for a girl’s getsway or even a couple. Thank you for gracious hosts and would love to visit again.

Hard Rock River Condo at the Waterwheel Resort is an unusual place to stay with all of the Rock n Roll theme decorations. The condo was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a minor problem with one of the shower handles, but Larry was very easy to contact and extremely prompt in fixing the problem. The resort itself is kept up very nicely and it is right on the Guadalupe river for floating. Two pools add variety and the location can't be beaten for the Schlitterbahn, Comal River access, or the excellent restaurants close by in downtown New Braunsfels.

We were excited about our Hard Rock Condo, but never expected what we walked into. 1st off, the TV's!! Haha. The boys were in heaven!! We debated the entire trip over how large they could be. The owners left no corner without a rocking suprise. Another suprise were the deer all around us daily! So fun. Everything was perfect. Excellent communication with seller. Their recommendations were spot on. This is a must! We will be back soon! Oh. Beds super comfy too!! Rock on!

We had a great stay at the Hard Rock Resort. The photos do not do it justice. Everything in the rental was on theme, down to the outdoor furniture. My favorite thing was that there were plenty of extra blankets and fans (we like fan noise at night). There were also full size body wash, shampoo and conditioners in the bathrooms. The location is perfect, close to tubing for the comal and the Guadalupe river is just outside the door. We spent a lot of time playing down there with the kids. The kids loved the pool and hot tub.

This was a great place to stay. Most of our group works at/owns a music venue so the decor was amazing. I think there was something like 14 signed guitars in the unit. Everything was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

What a memorable experience! If you are a rock & roll fan/guitar fanatic, this is THE place for you! Very uniquely decorated with signed guitars - we even created a playlist using the artist/band of each of the guitars in the condo. The condo was comfortable and it was such a nice touch to have bottles of water in each bedroom. A short walk to the river and we would have used the patio if it hadn't been so scorching hot! Overall, a fantastic experience!!!

Convenient and themed well

The speculation of a man cave turned rental was what my friend and I came up with. The attention to detail including the Marshall stack refrigerator which had to be customized and the guitars had us going for hours. My wife was just enjoying the creativity. The security guy takes his job very seriously. He looks for arm bands at the pool and parking passes. So if you think you are going to get one over on them you need to pick another place.

Everything about this property was an excellent experience. Booking was easy , quick and friendly response from condo owners. Easy access, good parking, great pool and jacuzzi, access to the river, elevators. Unbelievable decor in this place. No opportunity missed to incorporate the Rock n Roll theme throughout the condo. Awesome weekend getaway for our 26th anniversary. The entry communication was efficient and easy. Condo was very clean. We loved the Rock-n- Roll memorabilia and deco! So fun rather than a standard condo. The pool was beautiful and the grounds immaculate. Bottled water provided and BlueBell ice cream in the freezer were nice. We didn’t use the washer and dryer but noticed they were a great size to accomodate full loads. We visited Gruene. We had cocktails and dinner at Sidecar at Solms Inn which was absolutely fabulous. We would love to bring family and friends and stay again.

Condo was wonderful. My family and I really enjoyed our stayed. Decor was out of this world! You can tell Larry and his wife put alot of effort and thought into the interior decor and it was really amazing and super comfortable. Larry was very responsive and the condo property was in a great location! River access and heated pool was awesome, the kids really enjoyed their spring break and we will deffinatley be back!

This place Rocks!

This was a gorgeous condo with amazing attention to detail. It was so clean and well maintained that it looked brand new. The decor made you feel like you were in a Hard Rock Cafe with 17 guitars signed by the artists, including, Cyndi Lauper, 38 Special, and my favorite...Styx. The TV in the main room had to be 80" or more with free access to Netflix and Hulu. The grounds were fantastic with two pools on site, hot tubs and great views/access to the Guadalupe River. Right at the river entry there is a quiet wading pool away from the main river with places to sit to enjoy a cold beer or evening cocktail. The location couldn't be better; just a few blocks away from the Schlitterbahn and minutes to downtown New Braunfels and Gruene with all the fantastic food and shopping you could ask for. Mary and Larry were great hosts and made sure everything was ready for our check-in. We'll definitely be back again!
