Enjoyed our stay. A couple things... Ice maker wasn't working and bedroom latch was installed backwards .

Home is located in downtown Wichita. We were in town for a wrestling tournament at Kansas Star Casino, we only spent the night but the property was perfect. The host really thought of everything! Thank you for having COFFEE! We will definitely look to book again next year!

The property was charming, clean, well equipped, and in a wonderful location. The host was very communicative and accommodating! It was perfect for our family to spend the weekend!

The property does not sleep 7. The listing shows bedroom 1 queen bed, gym queen bed, gym queen bed, living room twin bed. There are not 3 queen beds or a twin bed.
The listing should say sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 queen bed, bedroom 2 queen bed. And nothing about a twin bed in the living room.
I communicated with the owner about the problem and was told I should look more closely at the pictures, and that an air mattress (that loses air and does not have a complete sheet set or pillows) can be found in a closet. Pictures can show or not show reality, with no point of reference, the details/description is where accurate info should be found. One of my guests slept on the sofa in the living room (is this the twin bed?) and another slept on an air mattress I had to bring from my home in Wichita. I sent more communication with the owner and was given no response. To me, this is not ok. After fees, I paid over $500 to have my out of town family sleep on a sofa and air mattress.
The home has cool character, and on a quiet street, although not on one of the nicer streets in College Hill.

This home was close to Wesley Hospital for my surgery and the home was wonderful for my recovery time. We will book this home again when we come to Wichita for pleasure. Great location and quiet neighborhood.

This property is in a good location if you would like to visit the WSU campus. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans and even coffee and tea. We cooked multiple times and also liked the dishwasher!
The bathroom and laundry were also stocked with shampoo and conditioner, soap and lotion and some toilet paper. The only thing we had to pick up was Kleenex, and napkins.
The house has a lot of character, some a bit creepy (the knights in armor in the hall) - it is very old with nice hard wood floors, with an updated bathroom and plenty of room for 2-4 people. Both bedrooms have a queen bed, one soft mattress and one pretty firm. Decent closet space with plenty of hangers but the rooms need a small dresser for undergarments, we just kept our suitcase on the closet floor for the items we could not hang up.
We stayed in early spring so the yard could have used a little cleanup as there were lots of leaves from fall. The weather was too cool at night for us to sit outside by the fire pit but we did sit out front during the day when it was warm.
Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend for a family visiting WSU.

This was such a beautiful property! Loved the charm and location! It was so comfortable and cozy! We come to Wichita about 3 times a year and I am so happy I found this place so I can book again! If you like walking it was fun to walk to Frank Lloyd Wright’s house… The gym was perfect for a quick workout! thank you to the owner for everything!

It was good

First let me start by saying this is a beautiful older home with so much character. It is spacious , the beds were so comfortable and it was beautifully decorated. Our host was reachable and responsive. The only thing about this home was that the air wasn't cooling properly so it was quite warm, even at night. Our host was extremely responsive to this problem but unfortunately the fix was a bigger problem than could be handled in one day. We were only there for 3 nights and by the time we figured this out we only had one night left. Our host was willing to reimburse us for the last night if we wanted to go elsewhere. We chose to tough it out since we had fans available to help cool us off. We were still compensated even though we chose to stay and I have no doubt the the problem is being fixed at this moment. I would highly recommend staying in this home if you are ever in Wichita. In addition to being nice it is close to so many things. Only minutes from downtown with lots of food and entertainment near by.

This house was perfect! Nice fenced front yard, charming decor and incredibly comfortable beds and linens. This was truly the best stay I’ve had in a long time and I’ve stayed many places. The neighborhood is quiet but close to pretty much anything you need. Don’t hesitate to book!

I wanted to give my best friend a weekend getaway and this was the perfect space. Very quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and the house itself was amazing. We loved the dining room and living area, and the beds were so comfortable. Jill was very quick to help us when we were trying to figure out how to check in as well! Overall it was a lovely stay, would love to book again.

This is a well kept older house. The kitchen is well appointed with plenty of equipment. The bedrooms and bathroom are fine. My only complaint is that there isn’t cable TV. Only streaming shows.

We had a great time! Easy to visit in just about any room!! Probably won’t stay at the same place again, though!! Three gals and one bathroom was a bit tricky! Lovely home, however! Thank you!

Upon arrival immediately saw that kitchen sink, counters, bathroom mirror, sink, counter, toilet, shower, and floors throughout home were not cleaned. Large clot of long black hair in shower was disgusting. Emailed owner immediately who merely brushed us off saying that her cleaner has been with her for some time and this was the first complaint. I cleaned house. At least owner had decent cleaner available. And I cleaned up much better before we left than how the house was when we arrived.
Owner needs to replace kitchen sink, counters and kitchen floor. Currently old sink painted with black paint to cover up poor condition (paint peeling and scraped off); compressed board for kitchen counter and floor unacceptable. Absorbs liquids. Extremely unsanitary.
Find another home to rent.

We enjoyed the location of this house and the feel of yesteryear while here:)
As on the first visit it was very clean, check in was simple, and again the location served us well.
We were back in Wichita for a memorial service but came a day early and stayed an extra day to visit with the family of our dear friend and to also just be able to not feel rushed. It is an easy drive to get to Derby from this location. That is where we spent a lot of time.
At the house, there is a fenced in front yard that worked great for the two dogs we had with us. However, we are very tight leashed with them so kept them on leashes when outside. There are some spots where a smaller than medium sized dog could get out.
The home has all that you need for comfort. I did not get to do any cooking this time as we were out and about mostly. We did make good use of the coffee machinery!
As you leave, the clean up is easily done. This part of town offers lots of eateries, cool older architecture to view, nice tree lined streets for walks, a golf course down the street (not sure if public or private), and close proximity to downtown Wichita and the zoo is not far.
We will probably return again in the future as this home really fits us.

This is a beautiful home with everything you need. Lots of room, well equipped kitchen with nice appliances as well as coffee and teas provided
The large, thick, fluffy towels were so nice! High end shampoo and conditioner in bathroom and a very nice shower.
There is a fire pit in the back and a fenced front yard. There is even a workout room! Large TV with Netflix and Roku in the living room so you can stream your own channels. Additional TVs in both bedrooms. You do not have to bring anything except your clothes and food.
Jill was amazing to work with and very responsive. I highly recommend this property.

Very clean and nice location close to everything. Loved the step-in shower and lush towels with super lotions and soaps. Host was very friendly. Kitchen has all the necessities plus lots of tea and coffee. Wonderful place to stay will definitely come back.

We enjoy staying in unique homes and this home fit that to a tee. If you like vintage floors and doors and doorknobs and lighting, this home has that. We enjoyed the neighborhood for the other unique homes and the quietness. It was also close to just about anything for your needs such as groceries, gas stations, and restaurants. It served as a good jumping off place for visiting friends in the Derby area and for going to the Zoo. We enjoyed a nice dinner out one evening at The Belmont. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable but know that it is a bit taller than some beds and for someone 5'4" it was a bit of a jump to get up in it. We did not get to use the workout room but it is a very thoughtful inclusion for a rental especially for a fitness minded traveler. We had our two mini Aussies with us and though they are medium sized dogs, we were concerned with some aspects of the front yard fencing, so did not let our dogs off leash when out in the yard with us. They did enjoy walks in the neighborhood which seemed to be a very dog oriented area. It was great to have the large dining area available in case we had friends over for some dinner and dominoes. There is a game area with a foosball table as well. A lovely living room area with a large TV too for entertaining. The garage was available if needed, however, we did not use the garage. All in all, it was a lovely stay in a lovely vintage home. The provenance of the home was highlighted in the dining room by framed information about when it was built and the property information. A bonus was the weather cooperating to give us some cooler temperatures which we really needed having traveled from the Texas heat!!

This charming house is located in a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood with great dining options. The fenced yard was a big plus for our dog, too!

The home was built in 1928 and has all the charm of that time period. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to the new Wichita Wind Surge baseball stadium. The furnishings, decor, and upgrades add relaxation and comfort to your stay. With a little over 1800 square feet, there was plenty of room to spend time with our entire family. The owner provided extra amenities that made this house a must stay for us in the future.

This house is close to a golf course, Wichita State, and downtown. The host had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including s supply of coffee and teas.
