**** PLEASE NOTE ****
1) Like most homes in Estes, THERE ARE NEIGHBORS AND YOU CAN SEE THEM FROM MY HOUSE. If you want total seclusion, you'll need to look 20-30 mins from town.
2) 4pm or later checkin; 10am or earlier checkout. We can't do early check ins or late checkouts as they are not insured by AirBnB.
3) Like the vast majority of homes in Estes, there is no AC. We open our windows in the evening and the places cools quickly.
4) Cleaning is expensive and I want guests to pay as little as possible. The cleaners offered a deal to keep the rates in the lowest third of homes this size, and I pass the savings on to you! I ask guests to pay it forward by starting the dishwasher and a load of towels in the washer at checkout. It takes five minutes but saves the cleaners an hour, which saves you money!

I love my cozy 2br mountain cabin, built nearly 100 years ago and lovingly modernized with all the modern comforts. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood amongst ponderosas and aspens, my cabin is a great mountain getaway.
Here here are a few reviews from my guests!!
"This place is absolutely dreamy. We got lucky with snow every day of our stay and had a winter wonderland to view out all the windows and the screened in porch. The views from the porch are out of a movie." - Kristen
"Too bad there isn't an option for 10 stars. My wife is very attuned to the energy of locations and said this place has an abundance of good." - Chester
"This is our new favorite place to stay while visiting Estes Park! Very cozy cabin. Love the old timey theme and all the character this place has. It was very nice to light a fire in the fireplace and watch movies." - Levi
My favorite feature is the vibe itself. I feel like I can finally disconnect and breathe while I'm there.

The original knotty pine complements the stone fireplace in the living room, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. A comfy couch lets you relax and enjoy a good book, watch a show/movie on the flat screen TV, or even take advantage of the super speedy WiFi for streaming or working.
At 1,000 square feet, my cabin contains two bedrooms, a spacious living room, an inviting sun porch with abundant windows, a bathroom with a vintage clawfoot tub, and a kitchen/dining area.
This single-level home is situated between downtown Estes Park and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, making it easy to explore the area's best attractions. My favorite restaurant, Bird and Jim, is a 1 minute drive, as is Country Supermarket, the local grocer. In that same intersection you'll find The Bird's Nest for coffee, baked goods and amazing wood fired pizza.
The cabin rests in a small valley between Prospect Mountain open space and Giant Track Mountain. That means there's an abundance of wildlife; elk, deer, wild turkey, bobcat and so much more frequently through the yard.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood on the side of Prospect Mountain, close to Marys Lake Road. Our sun porch has views into the Rocky Mountains and there is a lot of open space nearby so you're very likely to see a lot of wildlife.
Note that there are neighbors and that this is not an isolated cabin. If you are looking for seclusion, you really need to be looking at places about 10 miles away.
A few blocks away along Marys Lake Road is The Country Supermarket, with awesome deli sandwiches that you can buy and take into the park during hikes or ski trips. Near the Country Supermarket is Scratch, which as great warm sandwiches, as well as my favorite restaurant, Bird and Jim.
Other super close restaurants are The Rock Inn and Smoking Daves BBQ.
The cabin is just west of town, which means you won't get stuck in traffic trying to get into the National Park. Fortunately the park entrance is only a few minutes away.
During the summer, there's a free shuttle bus that goes all over Estes Park and into the National Park. You'll want to walk to the Stop 3 (Manor RV Park) or Stop 4 (National Park Village, where the nearby Country Supermarket is), both of which are within a few blocks' distance.
I always recommend a winter capable vehicle from October to May. That means 4WD, AWD, or a 2wd car with snow tires. We are in a high mountain environment with very unpredictable winter weather!
NEIGHBORHOOD
We are in a regular residential neighborhood with neighbors! Events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise levels. Neighbors can be seen from the hot tub, so no parties or music in it.
NONPAYING GUESTS
Insurance requires that nonpaying and non-registered guests are not allowed on property. Your guest count must be correct. Note that in the town of Estes Park, INFANTS COUNT TOWARD THE MAXIMUM GUEST COUNT.
AIR CONDITIONER
Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. The cool evening breeze will cool the home down quickly.
BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in!
MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn't record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It's located on the cieling in the kitchen.

My husband and 16-year-old daughter spent Thanksgiving week resting and relaxing in this lovely vintage cabin. We read, played games, napped, explored the park, and ate well. Would love to come every year!

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for a fall weekend getaway. The cabin is as advertised and the host provided helpful tips for the area. The access to the park was excellent as well as easy access to shopping and dining in Estes Park.

Great historic cabin
Very nice and comfortable cabin, with everything we needed. The 100 year old cabin is very charming with pine board walls and ceilings, and nice wood flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. The only slight downside is the neighborhood. The photos on the website don't show that the cabin is in a relatively dense neighborhood with mixed houses and cabins around, some of which were well kept, others not as much. This property is definitely the nicest. But that was a minor issue and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Perfect location
This quaint cabin has just enough to make the time spent at the cabin enjoyable and lovely. The location is absolutely amazing. It was a 2 minute drive to almost everywhere we visited for food or coffee and so close to the entrance of the National Park. It was a really great choice for us, wanting to be out in nature most of the time.
The cabin has great AC/heating and is very clean. The enclosed porch was a really nice space to read and to eat in.

Cozy cabin
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very close to RMNP and Estes Park. Easy to locate. With all the windows, you could see the outdoor beauty of the area and watch as wildlife came through. Looking forward to visiting again.

This property was just as advertised. A short drive to RMNP and to Estes Park. The cabin was clean and well supplied. Owner was very responsive. Will definitely stay here again!

Super convenient location
Quaint cabin in the mountains. Don’t be deterred when you get there by the road quality. I am sure that this keeps the property taxes low because the location is …turn left go to the park…turn right go downtown! My retreat was perfect. Thank you!

Historic Home
Enjoyed the cleanliness and appointments of this home with so much history. Shower tub was a challenge, stepping in and out, but we managed. Liked the screened porch. We found a mouse in the kitchen the last night.

Wonderful cabin in Estes Park
My husband and I stayed a week here. We loved the location which is very close to town and to Rocky Mountain entrance. The views were wonderful and we loved sitting out back at night looking up at the stars. Our favorite part of the cabin was the enclosed front porch. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Elk in the yard
Great cabin. Beautiful views. And in early evening the Elk and Mule Deer would come through the back of the cabin. It was very calming to see. One night a Mule Deer was lying at the bottom of the back stairs, as if he were our dog waiting for us to come home. Loved it.

Great location, great family cabin! 1923 Restored Bungalow
This cabin is an original 1923 restored bungalow with hard wood floors, a clawfoot tub and gorgeous views of mountains out of all the windows. It evokes a bygone era but has all the modern amenities you need and want. Close enough to Estes, but far away from the noise and people to feel surrounded by nature. We woke up one day to find a family of deer on the lawn and resting under a tree! Rocky Mountain National Park entrance is 15 minute drive door to door. This is a true gem and we can't wait to get back! :-)

Ideal mountain cabin
Very well maintained and refurbished vintage cabin. Super clean and well equipped. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at table outside. It was far better than any restaurants. A few minutes to grocery store, shops and laundry, yet very quiet with good view and very close to RMNP entrance.

We had a wonderful experience staying in this cabin. The owner was very communicative and helpful. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The location was perfect to access town and RMNP. Five stars all around!

The cabin was clean and comfortable. Location is great - close to downtown EP but still felt like we were out of town. It was quiet and relaxing. Good for kids as well - we have a 3 and 5 year old and both loved the porch and playing on the big rocks out front. Excellent stay, we’ll hopefully be back again!

Mountain cabin getaway to access RMNP!
Beautiful views in the morning and evening we’re had everyday during our stay. Once we learned the town we realized we were only 5 minutes from the park entrance! Thanks so much! Your cabin was part of a family’s once in a lifetime trip through RMNP!

Enjoyed a restful and wonderful week of family recreation in this comfortable, well kept Estes Park cabin located just outside RMNP.
2.5
Wonderful getaway! The cabin has a rustic feeling just like we were hoping for, but is not dated or old. Very clean, well appointed, conveniently located to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes, yet also feels private. We enjoyed viewing deer, elk, and other wildlife right from the cabin. We will definitely look for this cabin again the next time we visit Estes.
2.5
Thank you for sharing your cabin. We felt at home and enjoyed every moment. We shared our morning and evenings with a yard of deer, birds, squirrels and chipmunks. You have the most comfortable beds and a very quaint atmosphere throughout the cabin. The location was convenient to town and the mountains, lived out stay and will check availability next time we head that way.

This cabin in Estes Park was exactly what we were looking for when we took our getaway to Colorado! The cabin was clean and well kept. There was lots of living space for relaxing. Even tho it was kind of chilly while we were there (25-35 degrees) we were able to use the all seasons room with the space heater that was provided for us.
It snowed... A lot! Eric was there early in the morning and shoveled the nearly 2 feet of snow so we could get out and experience some of the sights!
After we left we got the security deposit back really quickly too.
Overall this was a fabulous experience for us!
2.5
The cabin looked just like the images online. When we pulled up in the driveway, there were 10 mule deer in the backyard. The cabin is not in town but only a mile away which worked great for us. You can see the mountains from the windows and trees surround the property. We really enjoyed the cabin but the front room was our favorite. The owners were responsive and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this cabin to all our friends.
2.5
We had a wonderful time at this cabin in Estes Park. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The weather was lovely which enabled us to enjoy the deck for breakfast in the morning sun. The screened porch was a delightful way to spend dinner and evening conversation. The owner was quick to respond to questions. A fun place to stay.
2.5
We stayed this weekend. I would love to say it was just terrible to keep everyone else away so it is always available for us but I won't. It was perfect! Cozy beds, perfect décor, perfect location, extremely clean, warm, elk in front yard! We really loved all the books and artwork in the cabin which were perfect. My kids loved everything about it, I wanted them to have a REAL cabin experience not some uptown Hotel stay! The front porch is lovely in the early morning and afternoon. A real gem! We want to come back this summer to enjoy some more hiking!! The owner was very easy to work with, no hassles at all!
2.5
We loved our stay at this clean, cozy, kinda vintage cabin, with an interesting history. We were there over Valentine's Day and enjoyed the quiet. We especially loved the enclosed front porch, which offers amazing views. We had a delicious dinner at The Dunraven Inn. We hiked in Rocky Mountain National Park. We had a cocktail at the Stanley Hotel! We cooked in for a couple of meals and had everything we needed. The owner was quick to respond to questions I had. We will stay again and highly recommend it!
2.5
Enjoyed my stay at this cabin. Certainly had at hand everything that I needed. Definitely got a feel for living in a mountain community.....beautiful elk and deer in the back yard and turkeys across the road. Was quiet, private...great area for parking....beautiful artwork.... cozy....comfortable beds. A big plus is the location....close to downtown and the entrance to the park. I loved it!!!!

We spent 6 nights and loved everything about the cabin.
