The house location right on the lake is perfect, with most of the windows facing the lake with beautiful views. It was enough space for the family of 7 people and the dog. The house was equipped with boat dock, tables, chairs and firepit right on the lake to enjoy the nature. The fishing was great and we also enjoyed swimming in crystal clear water. Thank you very much for the wonderful vacation!

We had an amazing stay. The house was large enough to accommodate 10 of us comfortably. The best part of the house was the outdoors where we spent every night fishing, jumping from the cement dock/patio while having a fire and roasting marshmallows. The view is spectacular.

Jim and Lori, thank you so much for this incredible family vacation, your home was the perfect spot for our gathering. I can go on and on but to brief this was a real blessing, Thank you.

I appreciate how fast Jim got back to me with answers to any questions. The view from the house was wonderful. The family had a great time despite how outdated & dirty the house was. Some pieces of furniture the stuffing was popping out. The railing outside leading to downstairs was an accident waiting to happen. Toes were stubbed on the pavement on the back deck. Do not go anywhere near the diving board is extremely unsafe. We will not be a return renter for this house.

The house needs a lot of updating. The overall condition of the house was filthy . Carpeting was stained, dirty and gross.
Living room furniture is broken and has been worn down for years.
The cupboards in both kitchens were just gross. Open, exposed wires in the closet of upstairs kitchen.
The “diving board” on the pier is held on by one screw and not usable. That’s an accident waiting to happen.
I would NOT recommend this house to anyone unless there is a lot of work done inside and out.

We enjoyed our stay, there was enough room to spread out with out being on top of each other. The property is outdated but clean. Could use some updates on the air conditioners and 2 window units in two of the bedrooms were just not sufficient. 1 tv in the upstairs living room and nothing down stairs in the large family room is not enough for large families. The cement pier off the back of the home although old and cracked provided us ample room to sunbathe, fish and play with our pup in the water. We made due with what was provided, lost power during a storm Jim came right over and set up a generator for lights.

Jim’s home was in a great location, and just like the listing. Would definitely stay again.

As advertised, the house was right on the lake with a beautiful view. We were there on an ice fishing trip with our extended family and there was plenty of room. The pictures of the house accurately depict it's rustic appeal. The place could use some updating as some of the furniture and rugs were well worn but it was generally very comfortable, especially the room that overlooks/hangs right over the water. Overall, the host was extremely accomodating and communications were very professional. There happened to be no ice on Lake George the weekend we stayed, and before our arrival, the host made every effort to find other frozen lakes in the area for us to fish. Cable tv, internet, bath and bed linens, and all adequate kitchen supplies were provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Jim's home is awesome for a family enjoying the lake together. Two kitchens give you room to spread out and cook and save food in two fridges.
The ferry terminal "island" that is unique for the property is great to swim off of and dump into the deep water off the house.
There is also a sandy beach area for you to wade into.
The rest of the house is in great shape and is perfect for a trip. We will be booking again.
Jim was very responsive and friendly attending to our needs.
Thank you very much for the amazing time.

Beautiful location, you cannot be closer to the water than this home. Small sandy area perfect to launch kayak or SUP. The house itself is large and clean, could not have asked for anything more. Jim is great and accommodating. See you next year!

We had a great family vacation! We were able to rent and dock our boat at the house. There was plenty of room and being dog friendly was a plus!!!

We really enjoyed our stay in Cleverdale. We brought our boat and were able to dock at the property. Access to the lake with shallow swimming and the boat dock were awesome. Cleverdale location is great for less than 10 minute ride to the Village and a little over 15 minute ride to Bolton Landing by boat. Great views from many rooms in the house and of course, the cool deck that juts out into the lake. Comfortable accommodations and well stocked house. Living Rooms have lots of windows to open to allow for breeze to flow through, but only 2 of the four bedrooms have AC window units. On the more expensive side for a week but our family felt it was worth it for the location and lake access.
