This unique beautifully landscaped 5-level home is perfect for large groups. Plenty of space to gather or spread out if you need some alone time. Three driveway parking spots, plus one additional street spot, are an important feature of this quiet cul de sac property. A private front door entrance with keyless entry makes for convenient access to the home.
Kitchen
The chef in the group will love cooking in this well-appointed and spacious kitchen that features dual ovens, dishwashers, sinks and ample counter space for meal prep and cleanup. The kitchen also has a coffee alcove, a rustic bar, and two seating areas, one looking out to Back Creek and another adjacent to the gas fireplace and wall-mounted tv. Guests may spill out onto the terrace to enjoy coffee or wine at a table with views of Back Creek or to grill on one of two gas grills.
Gathering Spaces
Adjoining the kitchen is an expansive great room that features a wall of windows offering both water and pastoral views, a large farmhouse table that seats up to 12, a brand new 55-inch Smart TV, and plenty of seating for hanging out together.
One level down from the great room is a comfortable carpeted family room with a 65-inch smart tv, an electric piano and a closet full of games for kids and adults. Both a powder room and a bedroom adjoin this room.
One more level below the family room is a large rec room with a bar, beer/wine fridge, a ping pong table and game table. The rec room has a full bathroom, a full-size washer and dryer and a large closet with life preservers and ironing board. Adjoining the rec room is probably the most unique feature of the house�an indoor heated pool under a vaulted and sky-lighted ceiling and with views of Back Creek. The pool room, which is adorned with tropical plants in the wintertime, can be enjoyed year-round. Sliding doors along the length of the pool can be opened to enjoy the great outdoors in warmer months but closed so you can enjoy a swim even when snow is falling. There are no bedrooms on this level.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom suite features a king-sized bed and a spa-like bathroom with two sinks, toilet, a sunken jetted tub, and a separate shower. A second bedroom with a queen bed, desk and dresser is adjacent to the master bedroom and is across the hall from a bathroom with double sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower. Two more bedrooms, each with queen sized beds are located a half flight up from the master bedroom and guest room. A fifth bedroom with a queen bed and two twins is adjacent to the family room.
Outdoors
The outdoor space is peaceful, private, and magical, especially at night while sitting on the patio under hanging solar Edison lights. There is plenty of seating to relax with a cocktail or to dine outdoors and space to play a game of corn hole before dinner. The property has its own private dock, where you can launch one of six kayaks for a 20-minute leisurely paddle to the mouth of the Severn River with a view of the Bay Bridge.
Guests can either drive or walk into downtown Annapolis (about 2 miles) to enjoy its many restaurants, shops, boutiques, and historical sites such as the United States Naval Academy. For a fun return, consider hopping on the Water Taxi from the city dock directly to the Retreat's dock--one of the last docks on Back Creek served by the Water Taxi.

Property has a private pier outfitted to accommodate mooring large vessels (six foot depth at the dock). The dock is has outlets providing shore power including both one 50 amp Twist Lock Receptacle and an additional 30 amp Twist Lock Receptacle. There is no additional charge for vessels using the dock or shore power.

Please note, this is an owner occupied home outside of rentals. We ask that you respect any closets/areas of the home that are identified as �Private � Owner Closet, etc.� Additionally, the owner does have a dog - to be considered for anyone with allergies.
