About this house rental
Our home is in a small neighborhood with Lake Superior Beach access just a short walk down the private road. We are about 8 miles from Whitefish Point and 15 miles from the Lower Tahquamenon Falls.
Our small cabin is nestled in the woods. Guests have access to a screened in porch as well as a fire pit for bonfires. We are in the process of renovating living space in the garage, but the bay for cars / snowmobiles is available to guests. We also have yard games and our grill in that garage as well as some extra beach items. You will have full access to the main cabin. We have some beach gear including fold up chairs for the summer months, that’s located in the wood shed right next to the home for your use! Our woodshed is stocked, but please be respectful of your use of our firewood.
Winter months: The cabin is located in a neighborhood off of whitefish point rd that is plowed and maintained. See photos in our listing showing location via Polaris ride command. It is a short distance to the trail. There is also lots of snowmobile traffic on Whitefish Point Road, so you could take that about 4 miles right into town. Plenty of room for your trailer. Please do not use the wood stove.
We have a full kitchen with basic utensils, bakeware, coffee pot, and a small propane cooktop stove and oven for your use.
*Rental home and use in a residential neighborhood approved by Township; STR permit requirements are the reason for many of our house rules. Any questions, please ask!
Please adhere to any state or local burning restrictions when using the fire pit.

We made many memories with family, good to get away from the busyness for a few days.
The cabin is clean and well stocked, especially loved the blackstone grill. The beach is just a short walk down the road with peaceful sunrises and to swim.
Thank you! Until next time...

The cabin was exactly as described—clean and fully equipped with everything we could ask for. The owners were prompt and attentive to all our requests. We’re already looking forward to returning next year!

We loved the cabin with all the amenities. The masterbedroom matress was very uncomfortable and I chose to sleep in one of the other beds, but that was ok. The beach was lovely and worth it. The listing could have been more clear as of the location of the beach, because we had the impresion from the listing that the beach is right in the cabin's back yard. However, we had a good 4-5 houses to walk to get to the beach access. But once we were on the beach we had a good time. We loved the wild blueberies.

My favorite by far of the 3 VRBO properties I’ve stayed in this year. So clean, quiet and cozy. Great location! Highly recommend.

Home is small and clean. Came up to Paradise with our side by sides for a long weekend ride. We cooked our own meals and had all utensils we needed. Hosts allow use of items / activities in the garage if you want. Internet connectivity was excellent. Phone signal and internet was fine - even without Wi-Fi. We had a long trailer and were able to park without issue. Could have fit another trailer if necessary. You'll either need to back in or back out of the property if you have a trailer

We love the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and every bit of beauty it offers. This cabin was the perfect spot to enjoy! Immaculate and wonderful extras included. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the easy walk to the beach.

We loved this cabin and it’s location to the surrounding attractions. Loved the private beach and the convenience of having a Blackstone grill on site. The family and I had a blast and will be back again! Maybe even for the winter for snowmobiling.

We enjoyed our stay here with our family of 4 (two kids 7 and 4). The house was very clean and has a great setup! It is a short walk to the beach which never had anyone else on it anytime that we went. I believe the listing or instructions given to us said the house was 200ft from the beach, we had a little bit of a hard time finding it the first day as it is not marked, but a neighbor is used to helping people find it and came out to help us. We measured it on google maps and it is about 500 ft down the road from the house, which is still a short distance! The house was very clean and comfortable. The electric went out during a storm and the owner was quick in responding to my texts in directing us to flashlights and reporting the outage. There are no neighbors visible around the property and the area is very quiet. They also have a black stone in a detached garage that made cooking at the house easier! The only negative I would say is that there was an excessive amount of mosquitos right around the house. Every time we opened the door to the house or our car about 5 came in. I would say that the mosquitos were worse on the property than anywhere else that we hiked while there. I would not discourage anyone from staying here because of that but it was the one negative I can note. If we were staying in this area again in the future we would stay here again!

The Superior Home is superior!
We used the cabin as "base camp" as we explored many sites on the East side of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
The home was very clean and comfortable. Access to the private beach is just a short walk down the road to a path that leads to a beautiful view of Lake Superior on the sunrise side!

Enjoyed our stay here! Nice quiet neighborhood near the lake and off the main road so you didn’t hear road noise. It’s close to Whitefish point and lighthouse, Tahquamenon Falls, as wel as other Upper Peninsula recreation areas. The 2 bedroom home was very clean and nice accommodations. We could relax and visit on screened porch to enjoy cool air without being bothered by bugs! Great place to stay!

This sweet 2-bedroom cabin had everything we needed - incl a lovely beach just across the road, easy heat, a well-appointed kitchen, proximity to Whitefish Point, and a nearby watering hole, The Wheelhouse. Great stay, great host.

The only non-5 star thing I had was that they listing didn't make it clear that the beach was across the road from the cottage. Otherwise I had no problems and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin.

The home was so clean and cute! The kitchen was well stocked, internet was fast and the beds are comfy. The screened in porch and the stings lights were amazing and a total vibe. I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals and this one is top! Just a quick walk to the beach and a short drive to Tahquanmon Falls. It really was perfect and we are so happy with our experience. The host was so accommodating. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much!

IT's a great little cabin. Very clean, well appointed, lovely screened in sitting room, and nice beds. Perfect option over any hotel. It's obvious the owner cares and takes pride in this cabin.
Also has access to a very nice neighborhood beach. We ventured to the Great Lakes Shipping Museum over to Grand Marias, Sable Falls in the Pictured Rocks, and of course both Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls. This is one of the best cabins in the UP that we have stayed in.

This cozy cabin was perfect for our last minute getaway to the U.P. The home was clean and exactly like described. We were pleased to find an air conditioner in the master bedroom because it was in the 80s all weekend. Which brings me to the beach. The beach was sandy, the lake was also sandy bottomed and shallow enough to walk well beyond 600 ft! The screened in porch was a delight to all...loving being outside yet not having to worry about bugs (there weren't any during our visit but I'm sure there are at other times throughout the season). Also the manager was very responsive and attentive to anything we needed. I would highly recommend this property for more than 4 people.

Our 3rd year staying in paradise & by far one of our favorite locations! Our family of 5 (one being a infant) loved the location , the cozy feeling of home and the short walk to the beach. The older kids loved the board games provided , the nature scavenger hunt and s’mores Kit (of course tv too) while My husband and I enjoyed the quiet mornings and evenings on the screened porch listening to the nature sounds and rain. Being photographers there was so much to capture, from the lake , to the wildlife, sunsets at whitefish point , and hiking/falls at Tahquamenon falls etc. Erin was easy to get in touch with when we had questions. Great hospitality! We will definitely return!

Excellent
Well, this was such an amazing experience for us. When we got there, there was a wreath on the door which made it welcoming & inviting. It was easy to find the property & the lake access point based on the picture in the property description. Everything we needed was available to us. When we needed to contact the hosts, they immediately answered and was able to help. I would HIGHLY recommend this place which was a complete Winter Wonderland; EXACTLY what we were looking for. And the dogs truly enjoyed the home & short walks to the lake.
