Beautifully remodeled 2 .5 bedroom 2.5 bath home located directly on the Intercoastal waterway on Palm Island / Don Pedro Island. Incredibly spacious, sleeps 8. Short golf cart ride or walk to pristine beaches
This newly remodeled home features a King Suite with a large private bathroom.There is a bonus room off the king suite with a twin daybed and a trundle. This room also has a full sized crib.
The second bedroom has a queen bed with a private bathroom.
Also upstairs, there is a giant screened in balcony (300 sq ft) off the master suite.
The Florida room boast a queen memory foam sleeper sofa as well as overstuffed couches and lounge chairs. All three decks are furnished with seating and lounging options.
Located on the most desirable road in Palm island, "Dock of the Bay" has the largest dock on the island. The Dock is deep and is only 90 seconds from direct access to the Intercoastal waterway. No bridges. There is a Tiki hut and tons of seating on the dock. Paddleboards and a 2 person kayak are included in the rental. Come make your next stay at "The Dock of the Bay"

My family and I wanted a getaway before school starts back up. This was our 5th time staying on the island and this house met all of our needs! It was very quiet and peaceful. Tim was an amazing host and although our time was cut short due to a storm, we made the best memories. We will be back sooner than later!

This property has been wonderful for our small family gatherings! This was our second time here and everyone enjoyed their stay! Our kids (ages 2, 6, 8) made many memories and really enjoyed having breakfast in the tiki hut, and catching crabs on the dock. The owner is also wonderful to deal with for any questions about the property. We can’t wait to return!

Our one month stay at this Intercoastal waterway home was a perfect escape from our normal responsibilities. This residence was perfect for our need to boat to our Condo home under repair (Ian) on the southern part of this island. In addition to the ample dock area, the home had many useful amenities to make our stay comfortable. The open living & kitchen area with outside views of the intercostal made up for not being on the beach front. The master bedroom has even better views. The furnishings were all designed for Florida living and entertaining. The beach is a short mile away, which we often walked for exercise and at other times took the golf cart. The Kamado Joe grill got a lot of use as we like to BBQ. The car ferry is not inexpensive, but when one considers that it keeps the island from becoming overrun by beachgoers, it is part of the island charm. The ferry hours of operation are convenient we did not have any long waits to cross the intercostal. We had a very relaxing time during our one month stay and would consider returning again.

We had such a wonderful time here. The house was spotless. Everything is new and in great condition. The house layout is great for family time where everyone has enough space to spread out. We were able to take our boat out each day when was the highlight of our trip. This truly is the best water access you could ask for when staying on the island! Many thanks to Tim for being a super host and having excellent communication with us. We look forward to staying again next year!

The house is like new and very well stocked with everything I needed. Dock for the boat is right off the inter coastal which makes boating easy. Owner very easy to work with and even let me check in early.

We rented this house with another small family - it was perfect for the 7 of us. It is well appointed with everything you might need for your stay. The housr even has a binder full of contacts and resources to enhance your visit (like boat and golf cart rentals). The owner was really responsive and easy to communicate with. We've been staying on the island for years, we'll definitely be back to rent this house again.

We were so lucky to find this amazing property! We weren't sure we would be able to find a place to accommodate our boat, pets and teenagers but we were so happy with every aspect of Dock of the Bay. The dock was great for boating, kayaking and paddle boarding as well as for having our dogs dive off the dock an endless number of times. Each of the rooms in the home were so clean and well maintained-it was so easy to relax! We also loved using the grill on the property which had all the necessary tools for great grillin'! We can't say enough great things about Tim and his responsiveness to all of our questions-really exceptional. As Florida locals, we loved exploring Palm Island as a new place to getaway really hope to make it back to Palm Island based on our fabulous stay. Thanks you Dock of the Bay!

This was a perfect house for a family, including a pet. It had everything we needed, and then some, although the beach was not what we had hoped with the red tide that had nothing to do with the owner, we were thankful the house was so wonderful and provided all the fun and everything else we needed.

It was perfect for our group! The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks, and fishing off the dock. We loved the tiki hut and the dock at the house. It was so nice to just hop on the boat and go out to the sandbars. The house had everything we could have needed and the baby gates were perfect to keep the little ones off the stairs. The house was beautiful and the adults and kids all had a blast!

This is a great house and the location, especially if you are a boater, is fantastic, literally 30 seconds to the Intracoastal Waterway yet boat is completely protected from boat wakes etc. awesome Dockage, great bayou to swim off the dock too. House is very nice, well equipped, and the whole process with Tim, the owner, was as easy as could be. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay! The house was equipped with everything and more. Our toddler loved the extra toys and crib in the master. We found a bunch of shells and sharks teeth. The owner went above and beyond answering questions and recommendations for golf cart rentals. My family had a wonderful week on Palm Island.

Family friendly and incredible water access!

We had two families stay here with three children under 4 years old. We were delighted to see built-in baby gates on the main living level that allowed us to relax knowing the kids were safe in a multi-story home while cooking dinner and enjoying each others company. The property is located on a deep water canal with direct access into the ICW. This was a breeze and made it so nice to jump on the boat for a quick cruise to Rum Bay or one of the many local sandbar/beaches (while avoiding the wake of being directly on the bay and worrying about your boat). The master suite was perfect for our family of four and would work for more children too and the guest bedroom suite was spacious enough for our accompanying friend couple with pop up crib. Half bath with laundry was convenient for day time while each family still had their own private full bath. Everything in the home was as expected PLUS MORE: baby bouncer, kid toys, extra beach towels, koozies, blankets, pantry items, etc. We were very pleased and will definitely return. Car access was easy but a golf cart definitely made exploring more fun! Public beach access within 5 minutes. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful - thank you!!

This home exceeded our expectations! The photos don’t do justice to how spacious it is and how nice all the updates are. We have stayed in many VRBOs on Palm Island and this had the nicest interior by far. The exterior accommodations were outstanding as well. We enjoyed relaxing in the multiple outdoor spaces. The large dock with shaded tiki table was such a fun place to eat a meal. We spent hours kayaking and fishing off the dock. The home is also super kid friendly equipped with built in baby gates, kids toys, etc. We definitely would stay here again!

The McCoys house was a wonderful place to spend time relaxing and reuniting with our son who moved to texas after graduating from college. We arrived to the island by our flats boat , found the area by the property to be great for fishing and watching dolphins and native birds. The rental golfcart which Tim helped us aquire was a perfect vehicle for a quick trip to view sunset and touring the island. The home was fitted with everthing you needed to create spectacular dinners and enough bikes and water toys to keep everyone busy. We were able to bring our family dog who loved every minute on the island. This brought great joy to all of us.

Had the most AMAZING time. From the moment we booked this house the owner was in contact with us and helped us add on another day. He also helped us get a golfcart. The property is fantastic! Our kids had the best time fishing and swimming off of the dock. They also used the paddle boards and kayak. We spent many hours sitting on the dock in the tikihut. We saw many animals while we were there. Starfish, eagles, snakes, fish, bunnies, dolphins, manatees, tortoise and even a baby sea turtle! The house had everything we needed. So very relaxing. Look forward to renting this house again.

Relaxing Getaway

Nothing but relaxing and enjoyable! The home was great! It had everything we needed to cook multiple meals daily, plenty of space for our family of 5 with 2 dogs, very clean and comfortable. The kayak and paddle boards were great for the kid's. The property is on a smaller waterway which made it safe for the kid's to swim also. Wonderful property that we will definitely return to!
