About this house rental

This beautiful home with it's "Texas Friendly" theme welcomes guests from anywhere. The Lone Star House is located in the heart of San Angelo, Tx. and close to downtown, the Concho Riverwalk, the Water Lily Gardens, ASU University, shops, restaurants, and city parks. You don’t want to miss this incredible stay!

The Lonestar House has three large bedrooms: the master suite - one king-size bed; 2nd bedroom - one queen-size bed; and the 3rd bedroom - two full-size beds. It also has two full -size bathrooms. One bathroom is adjacent to the master bedroom. All bedrooms have TV's with Roku internet service installed.

There is high-speed WIFI available throughout the house. The house sits on a large double-sized corner lot with plenty of distance to neighbors' houses. There is a large fenced backyard.

No smoking is allowed inside the house, however there is a nice patio area with a BBQ grill, two benches and beer cooler where smoking is allowed.

Wet towels in the washer. Floors not clean. Stove top a huge mess. Two burners didn’t work at all and other two only worked much better if on high. Nice property but needs more attention.

The basics were provided but also extra touches that made our stay even more comfortable. For instance each room had more than adequate plug-ins for phones and electronics. It was obvious that this host puts guests first.

Overall, no complaints about the house. It was an older house so the floors and doors squeaked so if you have young kids, just be aware of this. It wasn't an issue for us. The neighborhood was nice. We were there to visit my son at Goodfellow AFB. It didn't seem far from anywhere we wanted to go.

We spent 3 days in San Angelo to see friends from high school (Central, 1967) and college (UT). The house was great! We found it to be clean, well equipped, and extremely organized. We loved everything in the kitchen labeled so we did not have to go searching for plates, glasses, silverware, etc. We would definitely like to stay there when we are back in San Angelo.

Over all house was very comfortable. The one thing that needs an upgrade are the towels Small, thin, and not enough for number of guests the house accomadates. We certainly ejoyed our stay.

This is our second time at this location. It is well maintained and has all of the amenities that are needed for a week long stay. Highly recommend this super cute and conveniently located house! Melissa is great to communicate with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We plan to be back for sure!

Over all very pleased. However the TV situation was disappointing. The tv I the master bedroom had no connection. Also having to subscribe to watch something was very annoying. For me it would have been great to DIRECTV and watch whatever was available.

Such a cute house! We loved everything about this house. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. games for the family to play, plenty of tvs which was great for down time. We enjoyed staying here and wanted to extend our stay! Very easy to communicate with the owners!

Our second stay at the Lone Star House in San Angelo proved just as enjoyable as the Spring visit. The well stocked kitchen supplies great stuff for cooking meals at home from scratch. Everything is labeled well for finding things which helps! Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and blankets make for a nice night's sleep. We love the TV options. The Lone Star house feels like home away from home to me. I'll be back next time in SA when I stay for more than a single night.

We came to San Angelo for a family event with my husbands damily. Normally we stay with family, but this was a time we didn't want to be a burden for others. I dont think we could have picked a better house for our needs! The house is th best equiped/stocked rental I have stayed at! All you literally need is your personal items! The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking pots, pans, utensils, crock pot, waffle iron I even believe a crepe pan or all griddle! The.beds were comfortable with clean sheets. Dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner (and not the dollar store brand) were all provided! I would definitely recommend this place (and I dont normally write reviews), it seemed to be a quick 5 minutes away from everything!

I really enjoyed staying in this house. The house is older, which I love, and owners have modernized enough to not take away from the charm of the older home. Beds were comfortable, hot water for showering, no issue’s and provided full kitchen and games and ability to watch our own Netflix and other tv apps. I was especially glad when we added one more night they allowed with no problem and gave a discount on extra night. Very happy with our stay

We rented the Lone Star House because our family was hosting Thanksgiving at a house on the next block. The neighborhood is adorable and the house is very nice. It was perfect for our group, which was 2 couples and 3 teens. Kitchen was well-stocked, beds were comfy and communication with the owner was easy. We will definitely stay again if needed.
