Perfect place with a breathtaking view of the amazing Pacific Ocean! When we first entered the house, we were surprised to find wine, candy, and a variety of treats made in Hawaii on a the counter. The refrigerator was stocked with bottled water, Hawaiian drinks, and condiments. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom was stocked with basics such as sunscreen, lotion, shampoo, etc. The bedrooms and living room had beautiful windows or sliding glass doors that opened to a beautiful garden and view of the ocean. The whole house was spotless. This is the second time we’ve stayed in this area and we absolutely love it. The sunrises are spectacular! Chase and Alison were very helpful and wonderful hosts.

The check-in process was nice and easy. The place was very well kept and very clean. They also left some site seeing ideas, to which, I think we did every one.
The veiw was amazing and the crashing wave was like waking in a dream and the hot tub just finished it off. My wife and I would definitely stay there again.
Thank you chad, it was very pleasurable and relaxing

Property is absolutely breathtaking. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise and ocean spray. Relax on one of the Adirondack chairs, while sipping your morning coffee and marveling at the black lava right below your feet. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome with personal touches that made this remote hideaway not only the perfect spot for our 25th anniversary, but something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

The hosts have thought of everything at this location… it is truly as advertised, and then some! We were extremely pleased with the living space, comfortable beds and overall accommodations inside. The outside of the property is beyond amazing, as well, giving mesmerizing views of the Pacific. The property is very neat and clean, with attention to details by the host. We had everything we needed, and then some, including a very comfortable, new bed. Communication form the host was perfect, and we could not have asked for more. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great for exploring the volcanoes, Mauna Kea, and just relaxing. We saw spinner dolphins right from the cliffs at the house! Would stay again!

This property is absolutely beautiful! Ocean is just outside your door. We stayed in Jan-Feb and saw lots of whales. Close to Volcano National Park. Hilo is only 10 miles away. Nice kitchen, bathroom. Chase (host) is awesome! Always ready and willing to provide information and helpful suggestions on what to do/where to go. Went above and beyond by supplying us with a "care package" when we weren't feeling well for a few days.

This place is great, comfortable, clean, well decorated and everything you need. One of the best vrbo’s we’ve stayed. We loved staying here for our time in the Hilo area. We even saw whales in the back one morning. Chase and Allison were very helpful with helping with things to do with our 3 & 4 year old.

The major pros to renting this home were how close it was to the water on an amazing old lava flow. The views were spectacular and the sunset/sunrise was breathtaking. We very much appreciated the cleanliness of the home and the size was perfect for us. The only issue for us was the size and comfort level that the beds provided - both were more "double" than queen sized and the mattresses weren't great - the saving grace was definitely the sound of crashing waves that helped lull us to sleep. Would still recommend this spot to anyone despite the fact that the beds could use an upgrade.

This beautifully decorated oceanfront home had everything the three of us we needed for a perfect Christmas holiday. We loved walking out from the covered patio onto the backyard lava cliff to watch the rolling turquoise waves, and sometimes saw sea turtles swimming. While dining on the patio we spotted whales spouting and breaching!
There is great communication with the owner, but also a very helpful booklet they’ve made of the best nearby beaches, activities, and dining. The kitchen is fully equipped. While cooking you can see orchids on the palms outside the window. We were impressed with the details that added to the beauty, comfort, and joyful experience at this home.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Great location close to Hilo and volcano. The property is clean, well designed, well maintained and excellent views of the ocean from both beds, and living area. Excellent spot for stargazing! We saw 4 shooting stars!!!! And finally the hot tub was an excellent touch to our last night of indulgence and relaxing vacation! Can’t wait to do it again.

What a special property in a special place! We feel so lucky to have had a few nights in Paradise Park ocean side, under the stars in an absolutely lovely property! Wonderful hosts to boot!

Our stay was good. The view was beautiful and sleeping to the sound of the ocean was amazing. I was unaware at the time of booking that we would have a host on site so that was a bummer when it came to privacy. I also feel that for the same price you could get a whole house to yourself, as we have done in the past. The host was great at communicating, and even allowed us to check in early. This would be a great location for a family with kids but not if you're on your honeymoon. Overall we had a great time.

Spectacular
Our family stayed in this property in July 2022. This is one of best properties I have rented. we walked into a unit that was sparkling clean- cleaner than a hotel room. My kids (16 and 12), they set foot through the front door and their jaw dropped. A meticulously well maintained property with a back yard that is beautifully designed and maintained. Chase was excellent in communicating with us. We were here for a very short stay (Just visiting volcano national park), the park and this property were definitely highlights of the trip. The pantry had some essentials which came in handy . A big thank you to the hosts. Thank you Chase and Allison.

The most gorgeous ocean/lava cliff views
This house has the most gorgeous views. Anywhere in the house you wake up to the sunrise. The entire East side of the house has either sliding doors or long windows. We watched it almost every morning from the foot of our bed…something about waking up to the ocean and sunrise as the fist thing you see is just breathtaking. The lava cliffs are something out of a movie with the waves crashing on them & give off the most serene sound all day/night. We saw mentioning of the coqui frogs in the listing, but the only place you hear them is while you are in the shower, which is on the back side of the house. We enjoyed hearing them. It will remind you of home if you don’t live in the city. This house has everything you will need, so there is no need to overpack a lot of extras. The house is super clean. The kitchen is well equipped. We cooked multiple meals and enjoyed the crashing waves as we ate on the lanai. The hot tub was also a nice addition for achy muscles at the end of a day full of long hikes. Chase and Allison are amazing host. They love going the extra mile to make sure you enjoy every second of your trip. They looked over our list of things to do and as requested told us what we should do first, what to save for if we had time & what we should add to our list. There suggestions were spot on amazing! We will definitely be revisiting this home!

Excellent place to stay right next to ocean
We enjoyed our 4 day stay in this wonderful VRBO. Great location right next to ocean. Appreciated the ample supplies with extra towels, pillows, kitchen utensils as well as shampoo, laundry soap, spices, cooking oils and even some food options (oatmeal, popcorn, spaghetti). A welcome gift of chocolate and wine was a nice touch. We have stayed in many VRBOs over the last several years and this is one of the best.

Clean place, great view, nice host!
Place is more spacious than we need but very nice with everything we need for our stay. Kitchen is fully stocked so we made a nice dinner. Wish we didn't run around as much with activities to enjoy the ocean view more. Sunrise on the lanai couldn't have been better (well, maybe if the lounge chairs weren't wet every morning) ! I was afraid to fall off the cliffs (lol) so I didn't venture out far to find turtle. Place is secluded and like other places with view, it seems far from even the nearest foodland... or we are just really tired with activities, but it was a good middle ground to both VNP and Hilo. Wish we could walk to any local coffee, bakery or anything. Overall, I would definitely stay again next time I'm on this side of Big Island.

January week in Hawaiian Paradise Park Keeau HI
We had a very nice stay - the unit is the lower part of Chase and Alison's home and right on the lava above the ocean so you hear waves at night and hear the occasional bigger wave. Lanai is
great and private for sitting outside and a good place to see stars at night. Internet is excellent via Google mesh network and easy to work on the lanai. Next door chickens sometimes visit as well as a couple of Nene geese. Inside is very comfortable. Beds are queen sized and comfortable to sleep on. There is an air conditioner, but not needed with ceiling fans. Kitchen has a gas stove - be sure to run the vent as we set off the smoke alarm when we didn't. There were basic spices (salt and pepper, sugar, flour, olive oil, cinnamon, garlic salt when we were there), a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee machine with filters provided, cleaning supplies, in unit laundry with detergent and
all the necessary soap/paper towels/TP. Nice walks in neighborhood down Beach Road which goes a long way and in the other direction which includes a woods and walking along the lava cliffs. Stores for groceries require driving 5-10 miles and we used Foodland in Keeau. Also recommend the Maku'u Farmer's Market on sundays for fresh produce, fruit, ready made
food and some local craft ware.
Host is very informative about the area and available for suggestions.
Great Stay!

Best of Big Island
Chase and Alison were amazing host. Not just helping us settle in, they also recommended places to go, introduced to an amazing tour guide and shared winter clothing for Mona Kia!
Place was just out of world with incredible ocean facing view. Property was classy with everything we could think of including new fictions to read!
I will highly recommend this if you want to have a great vacation!!

Fantastic Sunrises
Fantastic place to stay while on Island. Chase went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our short stay. Highly recommend staying here if you want to wake up to the waves crashing on the rocks while you drink a coffee and watch the sun rise over the horizon. We even saw turtles out swimming in the deep blue. You won't be disappointed.
