Our group of 12 had a wonderful time at this beautiful and well equipped property. The property manager was very attentive and the quiet and scenic location was perfect. The basement was perfect to give the kids some extra space to play. We hope to return someday!

We stayed a week in this beautiful cottage on Longbow Lake. It was very clean, well equipped, and is located on a quiet and private part of the lake. Good dock for our boat and the view of the water is perfect. We will definitely return.

This our second time renting Rene’s cottage. It is a beautiful cottage with every amenity you could want (and pet friendly). The location is gorgeous. There’s ample dock space for hanging out and deep water for your boat. We even caught quite a few good sized Northerns right off the dock… looking forward to next year!

The check in process was very easy, and the cottage looks exactly like the photos, if not better!
The place is quite big, and very easily accommodated our group of 10 adults. It also has pretty much everything you would ever need, and the camp store that is a few minutes away has everything you may have forgotten. The sauna and screen porch were definitely a favourite, along with the amazing lakeside views. It is also very private, which is a real bonus.
The only thing to say that might be a bit negative is that the beds were not the most comfortable, and the dock/stairs down are not in the best shape, though not unsafe in any way. Neither of these things would dissuade us from visiting again in the least, though.
I can’t speak to how accessible the property manager is, as we had absolutely no issues, but it was really nice to know there’s someone close by if anything were to happen.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for any larger group or family for a fun summer getaway. Would definitely come back if the opportunity arose!!

With three floors and expansive views, from the tower to the porches this place is a beautiful lakehouse and amazingly equipped. I look forward to our next stay here. Highly recommended!

We stayed here with another family and there was plenty of room for us all. The newly remodeled kitchen is very nice with a large fridge and bar fridge. The views are spectacular whether from inside the cottage or on the deck. Our kids (young adults) enjoyed the top room of the tower for socializing. The lake is large and lots of room for water sports. Overall a wonderful vacation spot and we had perfect weather for the week.

We met at this cottage for my parent’s 50th anniversary. The house was updated, clean, and had plenty of room. We had great times on the deck, in the gazebo, and down on the dock/in the lake. There were a couple of floaties provided but I would recommend bringing a couple of your own, and your kayaks if you have them. My husband and I flew from South Western Ontario so we didn’t have our own kayaks and ended up purchasing two used inflatable kayaks that were ok but we wouldn’t recommend them. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of a firepit, otherwise it’s a beautiful location that is a short drive to Redden’s campground store that has many of the basics you will need.

FYI , we were never in contact with the property manager therefore our rating will not be accurate for that.

Fantastic cottage on Longbow Lake!
Our family enjoyed a wonderful week on Longbow Lake. The cottage overlooks the lake, was a first class property on a point location which provided complete privacy. We plan to return next summer!
