About this house rental
Hesed is one of the Hebrew words for LOVE. A difficult word to translate into English because of its range of meanings, Hesed is best described as a “completely undeserved kindness and generosity.” Rightfully named, Hesed Beach Cottage is a vacation rental home built for sharing memories centered around love.
After Hurricane Michael ripped through Mexico Beach, not much was left but hope and a blank canvas. With a focus on rebuilding what made this vacation destination special, new beach cottages started popping up one by one. Hesed Beach Cottage is a product of this regrowth, as are most of the other homes on this quiet, beachside street……”completely undeserved kindness and generosity.”
This two-bedroom beach home is located on the gulf side of 32nd Street in Mexico Beach. With no streets to cross, access to the gorgeous beach is convenient and safe. With fewer steps than most new homes in Mexico Beach, entry into the property is not so tough on those knees. Within just a short walk, you can catch a game, a meal, and a drink at Mango Marley’s. Location, location, location!
There are great views from inside the living room, the kitchen and two bedrooms, and the front and rear decks on both levels. A dining table and gas grill on the main level deck make a perfect spot for outdoor meals.
The bottom floor of Hesed Beach Cottage is where you'll find the open living area with living room, dining area, kitchen, half bath, and laundry closet. The decor inside will keep the vacay vibes flowing. Unique artwork fills the house with a few pieces highlighting scenes found around after Hurricane Michael. The kitchen backsplash will make you feel as though you’re under the sea with its sparkling blue colors.
Upstairs there are two master bedrooms along with a small bunk room for the kids. The first master on the western side of the house has windows and doors lining two of the four walls allowing gorgeous views, especially at sunset. Beyond the exterior door is an open sundeck making the perfect spot to enjoy the views from the outdoors. The 2nd master is a tad bit smaller and offers an open deck for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Both master bathrooms are very stylish, but the showers in each are showstoppers!
Visit us any time of the year! You will not be disappointed.

We love the house, perfect location and always comfortable.

The house was nice but there is still debris around from the hurricane. The view is no longer like the pictures on VBRO. There is a huge condo building blocking the view now.

Great visit and the house is conveniently located to the beach.

This property was exactly as described and makes great use of functional space. Plenty of room for my family of four and just a very short walk to the beach. The outdoor decks made for great relaxing opportunities. Will definitely be back

I appreciated the beautiful craftsmanship of the home, The bathrooms are gorgeous and the beds are very comfortable. The home was clean. Upon arrival, we had a couple of issues that were resolved by property mgmt. EX: upon arrival we could not enter the home. Property mgmt did not know why and they had to send someone over to fix it. The house was very warm when we entered; the temp was 78. We called and asked if there was a trick to the thermostat because when we tried to change it, a lock emblem came up and said we needed a password. They said they did not know why and had to send a technician to the house the next day. After they looked closer and determined the issue, it made logical sense. I think this can all be avoided for guests by simply having written instructions placed in the home. No one wants to spend their valuable vacation time dealing with such issues. There are two other things that would have made this a dream of a rental:1) having quality cooking pans. The cooking pans were horribly damaged Teflon pans and unusable. A surprise for a home this nice and it was a huge turn-off considering we had wanted to cook. Damaged Teflon is unsafe to cook on. 2) Add privacy blinds to the main floor. I was also surprised at this. I value my family's privacy and assume other guests will feel the same. The upstairs had great privacy blinds. There is zero privacy on the main. If these two big issues get resolved, I will return to this home in the future.

We are a family of 6 and loved the house and location! The house is on the smeller side and I have two boys who are over 6’ so the bunk room was very tight! It was clean and the property management was quick to answer, we had issues with our door lock and they were on it. Overall a great place to visit, nicely decorated!

Beautiful house, enjoyed our stay
We really liked this house. It was clean and comfortable and had absolutely anything you could possibly need. Except coffee filters. Most rentals have those reusable coffee baskets but this one didn't. I usually travel with coffee filters of multiple sizes just in case, but didn't this time. Other than that the house was perfect!

I will be renting again. It was perfect.
