Our family really enjoyed the stay here. Didn't feel surprised by the actual home compared to the listing, and the location is really great. We slept really well and the space was perfect for our family of six. We loved the coffee area and having some spices available for better cooking! A few minor areas that could be improved:
- Maybe make the listing more specific about what toiletries are provided, we needed to go our and buy soap for the showers.
- Several chair legs at the kitchen table are so loose you have to be careful to straighten them before you sit down, otherwise they might break off.
- The basement is really musty (where the laundry machines are). Running some clean water into the sump pump area would probably help.
- The dryer was over-packed full of sheets and towels that weren't all the way dry. We ran them a few more times to make sure they were dry and then put the huge pile on the dryer.
- When we stripped the bed to leave, our daughter found some pajama pants down in the sheets. Just made us wonder if the bed had been stripped and sheets replaced before we arrived.

Wonderful charming inviting home. Communication for guests was great and the house was ready to enjoy (temperature was good for the cool weather) when we arrived. Love the big kitchen table (great for games) and the electric piano. Recliner chairs were very comfortable too. Location is fantastic for Liberty University events. Would definitely recommend!! Full unfinished basement (unexpected) is great if you have pets that you bring and need to leave for any period of time (just bring a dog bed). Definitely helps with any concerns about any pet behaviors (chewing, accidents, marking, etc). We did not bring our dogs but house has a big back yard too (no fence).

Nice decor, comfortable beds, good shower, free of scents, clean. Close to everything. Don't plan to do much cooking. Overall, a great place to stay and feel at home.

This is a beautiful home. The house is very clean and maintained. The home had everything that you would need, towels, bedding, kitchen items. We stayed for a long weekend to attend a Liberty University football game and the location to the stadium was about 5 min.
The only thing we had trouble figuring out was the TV controls- maybe provide some instructions for future guests.

Family of five enjoyed our two night stay. We were very impressed that it was clean. that is our major concern when booking a reservation. also we enjoyed the availability of the Bibles!!!!! We would stay here again.

Our family rented this location for our visit to LU during commencement. The location is perfect. While it is very close to the school, restaurants, shopping, etc., it is far enough away to have a peaceful rest. The description on the website was accurate. The home had everything we needed to have home-cooked meals (when we chose not to eat out). My family loved the coffee bar setup. There were plenty of towels and other supplies; the owner has clearly put some thought into providing all of the basic necessities. When we come back, we will definitely look to see if this is available.

We had stayed at this property in the fall and we were able to reserve it for last weekend. We love this house! It is close to Liberty University and is very clean and well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved the coffee bar! It was a great place all around!

We had a enjoyable time in your home. It was like a family reunion. All the amendments for living there were great. We were there for our younger daughters wedding. The wedding was great and our out of town family could come over enjoy the room, play cards and go to there place to stay else where. There were 6 of us, mom & dad, older daughter and grandkids, and a family friend. Enough room for the out of town family to visit too.

We came to Lynchburg for LU's commencement and were so glad we stayed here over a hotel. The place was perfect for the event, allowing family members to rest when needed while others had room living spaces to use. My wife and mother in-law loved the decor. My son and I loved the coffee bar. In short, it was a great experience and we will look forward to staying here again the next time we come to Lynchburg.

Our family of 5 and our dog stayed here for a long weekend in January. The location was perfect for our daily excursions. We are a young family and checked out Amazement Square, tubing at the SnowFlex, and the SeaQuest aquarium. Everything was within 10 minutes or so. We were able to bring our dog so he could enjoy our outside explorations. The house was perfect for our needs and we loved the kids bedroom with the trundle bed and 2 additional beds. It was clean, well appointed and convenient. Perfect home base for a visit!

This property had comfortable beds, had a very nice and well stocked kitchen and gave us a homey feel as our family and grands joined to celebrate our daughter's nursing pinning at Liberty. It was close to campus and worked out very well for us.

Our family went to visit our college daughter and had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We hosted dinners cooked in a well stocked kitchen and had enough room to sit 9 around the big kitchen table. We moved kitchen chairs into the living room and played games around the coffee table. The beds were very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. I will definitely rent this home again on our next visit to Lynchburg.

We had a wonderful stay at your beautifully renovated home! The beds were so comfortable, great linens, and the fully stocked coffee bar was amazing!
The only thing I would change….I’d a few extra dish towels and a dish cloth or two for the kitchen!

Loved the home. Well decorated. Updated. Very close to Liberty. Neighborhood was ok. Not all homes took care of their yards/curb appeal. We stayed 3 nights and street was quiet. No issues. Only 1 a/c unit so temp upstairs was a little warmer. Upstairs bathroom doesn’t have a fan/vent, so hard to cool after shower. There were not enough bath towels, so we had to wash all weekend. My suggestion to owners is to provide at least 3 towels per guest, per bedroom. 3 bedroom home that sleeps 6, so 18 towels. We had 6 total. So washed each day we were there.

Had a long weekend so we decided to visit our son who is a student at Liberty Law School. Very nice small home. Very clean. Every amenity available includingfully equipped kitchen, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels and more. My adult children loved the coffee bar. Thank you so much for your careful attention to detail!!

Great and comfy little house
Our family was in town for a weekend basketball tournament - a mom with 3 teenagers in tow. The house was comfy and cute! Very close to everything. I’m a bit of a kitchen snob - but this kitchen was fully stocked with great equipment and extra supplies. Very happy!!! The teenagers LOVED the coffee station. If we are ever back in this neck of the woods, we will definitely come back! Thank you!

Beautiful, Cozy Home! ❤️
I usually don’t take time to write reviews but this home is so lovely that I wanted to share just how great it is. The house is just as wonderful as the picture show. It is so beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. It is stocked with toiletries, coffee supplies, linens and towels. Beds are very comfy! Everything is so clean. It is only a couple miles from Liberty University and very close to many restaurants, the mall, and stores. It is located in a quiet, older neighborhood that is safe and convenient to everything.
