We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home on the bay in Allyn, WA. Our group included my daughter, sister and niece. Our checkin was seamless and our host was pleasant and responsive. The home provided everything we needed and was well decorated, comfortable and clean. The weather was perfect so we spent much of our time outdoors in the beautiful, spacious backyard with the exquisite views. The Orca whales were active every day of our stay. The morning we were leaving they put on an unforgettable show very near our property line. This was a very relaxing home and we all agreed that we would love to return in the future!

Property was as pictured. If we needed to stay in this area again and this was the only property available, we would be fine staying here but it would not be our 1st choice. Let me share why so you can make your own decision.
Main concern was the property was only surface clean. First impression is clean, but a closer look reveals opportunity. The coffee maker was so dirty we had to clean it before use. Top of the shower head was covered in dust as was the top of kitchen cabinet doors. Multiple spider webs on kitchen ceiling.
Noise at night disrupted our sleep. Since the home does not have AC we slept w/ windows open, and the local traffic was busier and nosier than we are used to at nite.
Place lacked some details we’ve come to expect in VRBOs. Bunk beds very uncomfortable. Our fam slept on the couch instead of those beds. Staying in the master the only place to store clothes is in the bathroom. That’s fine but the hanging bar was 6” too short for my husbands shirts. The kitchen counter has bar-height stools. (It’s in the pics; you just don’t think about it until you sit and realize the seats are too high.) Master bath was stocked with only 2 towels, no trash bags in kitchen, and there was no cooler to use when we left the property.
I’d have rated it 3.5 but had to use whole #.
FYI only - not part of my rating - Both bathrooms have very high tubs. My MIL needed help climbing in/out to take a shower.

Beautiful property and home! It was so nice to sit by the fire pit and watch the seals out on the floating docks while the tide came and went. Every single amenity we could have possibly needed was thoughtfully provided. We were a large family group and never wanted for anything. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway for water and nature lovers.

Beachfront paradise!
Beautiful well kept home in a quiet little town. Had many necessities already stocked. Everyone had fun with the kayaks and the kids enjoyed “seashell island” just across the water. Only thing missing was a bbq grill, but made up for it with a full cast iron skilled set. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great rental with fantastic views for families or couples.
Property is exactly as photographed and owners were communicative, accessible, and provide clear check instructions and quick responses to questions. There were plenty of blankets, and linens in the home. There is no air conditioning but the temp outside during our visit was in the high 80's every day and the house stayed cool with the windows open due to the breeze coming off the water. (there are some ceiling fans and a couple box fans in the home). Proximity to town is great. We were able to easily kayak to the city park for a quick snack and driving to town takes about 2 minutes. Grocery access was close and the local restaurants are great (loved the Boat House and Bubbas Burgers. Proximity to Olympic National Park and Seattle make for nice day trips without endless driving. Had two groups of Harbor Seals in the water outside the house every day of our visit. View of Mt. Rainier is fantastic. Water in front of rental is very still and makes for easy paddle boarding or kayaking. The break created by the inlet would make for safe water play for kids. At low tide it is muddy on the beach so recommend good water shoes, etc. Bedrooms are large and master queen bed was really comfortable. Plenty of yard space for games, etc. Driveway is steep but parking space in front of porch is nice and flat. There is some subtle road noise but for us it was not a distraction. Truly enjoyed our trip to Allyn and staying in the comfortable home.

Perfect family house for a weekend get away!
If you are looking for a short weekend away with your love one, this house is awesome! The beach is right on the back yard with activities that can be enjoy by the whole family. We love that the kayaks are provided for our use and we could dig clams at the beach. The camp fire was enjoyed by everyone at night time, especially the younger kids. The house is very clean. I love that guests are instructed to strip the beds and load in the washer at the end of the stay, so you know the linen are clean when you first arrive. There is an Xbox that was provided that the younger boys love to spend some of their time. Even though we didn’t need anything during our stay, but Reymarx the host is quick to reply when I did have questions. It is very helpful to read the house guide book before you arrive, we have everything answered by reading the book instead of contacting the host directly. This is our first family getaway, and this house makes it perfect. The only one thing that was a little uncomfortable for us was the neighboring house on both side were a lot closer than we would like, and they seem to be annoyed of our present. But I do recommend this place and would love to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

Short of things
We had no wash clothes, ran out of dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, not as much items as was in the other Vrbo, we rented in February. Ask to take out garbage to the road nicely. We did but a strange ask. No bleach used in towels and sheets washed.
