This should be an absolute gem of a cottage, but isn't. It is unclean with damp and mould in the lounge from a leaking bath above. It is tatty and in need of a bit of TLC. Dogs are only allowed in the kitchen - something they don't tell you in the description. They say there's a parking permit. There isn't, just a note to put in your car. Unfortunately, this wasn't accepted and we got a fine. Tried to communicate with owner but 6 weeks later still no response. Really disappointing as Robin Hoods Bay is fantastic and so is the location. However, with so many cottages to choose from, avoid this one.

RHB is lovely. The cottage is a nice place, good to have a garden area, but a bit tired in places and could have been a bit cleaner in places. Communication could also have been better and there was a lack of instructions in the cottage for the hob, Wi-Fi code wasn’t provided & no response when we contacted cottage.com

Lovely cottage in great position which worked very well as a family holiday. No WIFI which didn’t go down well with the younger members of the family!
