About this villa rental
Nestled atop a picturesque vineyard, Fattoria Camigliano offers a breathtaking panorama that stretches as far as the eye can see, unveiling a vista of unparalleled beauty. This enchanting farmhouse, perched gracefully above its private vineyard, is part of the historic Villa Torrigiani estate, renowned as the only Baroque villa in Tuscany. From the garden of this rental farmhouse, guests can catch glimpses of the villa's unique architectural roof details, adding to the estate's timeless charm.
Fattoria Camigliano is more than just a place to stay; it's a living experience surrounded by lush vineyards. The estate's rich history adds to its allure, once home to a Luccan lord who served as the Republic of Lucca's ambassador to the court of Louis XIV in Versailles during the late 1600s. This fascinating past enhances the ambiance, making every moment spent here feel like stepping back in time.
The farmhouse has been meticulously renovated, with the first and second floors offering modern comforts while the ground floor remains a winery. This blend of old and new provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the life of a Tuscan vineyard. In September, you can even witness the grape-picking process firsthand.
A five-minute drive brings you to local restaurants, grocery stores, and the nearest village, ensuring convenience while maintaining the farmhouse's serene seclusion. The charming town of Lucca is just 20 minutes away, and the pristine beaches are a mere 35-minute drive.
The first floor of the villa serves as the main living area, featuring a grand kitchen with a central counter perfect for cooking classes, a spacious living room with an inoperable fireplace, and a dining room that opens onto a panoramic terrace with a seating area and pool access. This floor also includes a bathroom with a shower.
The second floor boasts another living area, three double bedrooms, a bedroom with twin beds, and two bathrooms equipped with both showers and tubs. Additionally, the farmhouse includes an adjacent hayloft with a second kitchen, dining/living area with an inoperable fireplace, and a toilet on the first floor. The second floor of the hayloft offers two double bedrooms and a bathroom with both a shower and a tub.
The ground floor remains a wine cellar, occasionally accessed by the proprietor to collect wine bottles. When the winemaker is present, guests can purchase wine directly from the cellar, enhancing their stay with the taste of locally produced, organic wines.
Just a two-minute walk away, Villa Torrigiani's manicured gardens and grand interiors await your exploration, offering a glimpse into the estate's magnificent past.
At Fattoria Camigliano, you'll find not just a place to stay, but a true farm experience amidst the beauty of Tuscany's vineyards. This extraordinary estate invites you to relax, explore, and create unforgettable memories in a setting that feels both timeless and enchanting.

My family of 8 stayed for one week at the end of May. The villa was perfect for our family and was beautifully decorated and had appropriate amount of furnishings and equipment for our needs. We had a cooking class with Cooking in Tuscana at the villa. The chefs and the overall class were fantastic, and the villa was the perfect size and location for this experience. The winery on property was very quant and has some good wines to sample and purchase. Views are incredible. Daniela, our property manager, was very accommodating as we had to manage a number of flight delays with our family.
Villa is centrally located to explore Florence, Lucca, coastal cities, Sienna, Montecatinni Alto, and many good local wineries. Overall a great villa for an amazing vacation.

Spacious house lovely grounds. Only problem was pool was very cold, but the weather wasn’t great to heat it up.
Salad servers in kitchen would be nice and a few more large serving dishes.

Spacious and well equipped accommodation in a lovely setting
More shade in the pool area and perhaps get rid of the hedge so you can look over the vineyard

We celebrated a wanderful 70th anniversary of the grandparents in this great property with our multigenerational and multinational family group. We spent a great week in the nice house with a very good pool and a perfect location for visiting Pisa, Florence, Lucca and the beach in Viareggio. Daniela, the house manager from "Lucca Appartments & Villas", welcomed us warmly, gave us very useful recommendations and was always very responsive. Many thanks also to the owner Giuseppe for solving some minor issues immediately. We would warmly recommend the villa to our friends.

Our party of six had an amazing stay at the farmhouse. There was plenty of room for all of us — extremely large kitchen, living area, and dining room (all downstairs). We all stayed upstairs in the four bedrooms and didn't need to use the attached apartment, though it was made available to us had we wanted to. The grounds are beautiful and everything was extremely clean and well cared for. We were there in late November so no need for the pool but we still had opportunities to sit outside on the lovely patio. Mariapia coordinated a perfect arrival and departure and on our final evening we were delighted to have a delicious private dinner with chef Alice. Fantastic stay all around!

We had a truly amazing stay in this villa. Everyone in our family of 12, age ranges from 13-87yo loved the villa, garden, pool and vineyard. It was a great base for our day trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence and also fantastic to just chill out and enjoy our time away. I'd say the villa is actually larger than the pictures make it out to be, there was more than enough space for us all to hang together or separately.
The villa manager Mariapia was incredibly accommodating and helpful.
We arranged a wine tasting with the folks who run the vineyard, they create a phenomenal product. If staying here I'd recommend chatting to them to organise that experience.
I really have nothing negative to say about the whole experience, I'd would however reiterate that this is a villa on a working vineyard so there is some disruption from farm equipment or wine tours. We didn't mind this at all and thought it added to the charm.
My family's last comment before leaving the villa was that they wanted to make this holiday a regular occurrence, so we'll hopefully book again soon!

The villa was an unbelievable find. It looks exactly like in the photos but larger. It was well-appointed and we immediately felt at home (only better)! We were a group of seven women who enjoyed every second of our stay. We would highly recommend this property.

The pool, vine yard, team were very helpful. Beautiful villa. Mariapia was great!
Rubbish is a nightmare task and could hide all the bins in the kitchen as ruins the lovely look of it

A great house for a multigenerational family group with a wonderful pool and a perfect location for visiting the sights of northern Tuscany. The house is in a beautiful spot overlooking vineyards but still a short drive to Lucca. Maria Pia, the caretaker, welcomed us warmly and was very responsive in sorting some minor issues.

Highly recommendable.
Very nice farmhouse in the countyside of Lucca. The house is in a perfect condition, spacy and well equiped with anything necessary for a nice stay. Organisational aspects like check-in were totally satifiying. We spent a perfect holiday with total 7 persons using both appartments an realy enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Villa
attoria Camigliano is a fantastic villa, situated on the outskirts of Lucca district in Capannori. It accommodates up to 12 guests, 8 in the main villa and 4 in the separate apartment. Both are very spacious, immaculate and very tastefully decorated - a mix of traditional Italian and modern. The pool and patio area were fantastic with alot of garden space. The only suggestions I would recommend is having an aerosol available for outside as it was very warm. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend staying at this Villa.

I hope to be back soon!
We had a very great stay at this villa and it was a great experience overall. The house is exactly as in the photos and the location is breathtaking. The check in and out was smooth and the housekeeper was very helpful with everything during our stay. I would highly recommend renting this place and I hope to be back again soon :)

Tres Belle!
