This was a perfect location for our honeymoon. The house is so cosy and the comfy. The garden is beyond beautiful, hidden, and very romantic. We felt we had our own enchanted garden! The host was so lovely, she messaged us to let us know she was around if we needed anything and came to clean the hot tub during our stay. She also left us a lovely cake and some Prosecco. We were very grateful! The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Cotswolds. Chipping Norton is a great place for food, drinks, and shopping! Using the hot tub every morning was a lovely treat. I can’t recommend the garden cottage enough!

We stayed at the cottage for a brief weekend and it was wonderful. A welcome lemon drizzle cake on arrival, the hot tub easy to use and the fire! Well stocked kitchen too in terms of pots and pans so cooking in was easy. Great location to pubs and a local Sainsbury’s. The second bedroom was easily turned into two single beds which did feel a little small for adults but we slept very well. We’ll be back!

Beyond excellent ! Extremely well equipped kitchen. 5 stars in every way
Only one small suggestion. A coffee table would be a good addition.

Beautiful cottage close to the centre of Chipping Norton with parking close by as well. Lovely garden with hot tub included, which was ready to jump into when we arrived. Perfectly sized rooms and a bed included for our dog too.
Great experience and would absolutely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage. The attention to detail is just amazing. This was our anniversary trip and the hosts even left us a cake, card and a bottle of fizz. Everything was just perfect. We didn't expect much from a January trip to the Cotswolds but it was a perfect weekend, and we will definitely be coming back.

There is a fantastic butchers just down the street. The steaks are a must try. House is lovely, Hot tub was great. Thank you Allison, everything was perfect. I wish I could rewind time back to last week to do it all over again.

What a find!!!!
A lovely little Cottage, very cosy and very close to all amenities.
We stayed at Garden Cottage 23rd Dec till 29th Dec 2024, I'm not sure how next Christmas will live up to this year's Christmas after our stay.
We arrived to the hot tub ready to use and a little hamper of gifts including Prosecco &Mince pies as well as Tea,Coffee and sugar. (And bits for Matthew our dog)
Alison checked in via text to make sure we were all ok and had all we needed.
I was able to cook and lovely Christmas dinner for 3 with no problems.
Lots of lovely local pubs and restaurants within walking distance and lots of walks for dogs.
I could continue writing a review as I have so many nice things to say, but I'll end here with one last thing, book up this beautiful cottage and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed

We stayed at Garden Cottage in Chipping Norton in October - what a find! The cottage itself is beautiful with bags of character e.g. beams, spiral staircase, big hearth with wood-burner and the garden is delightful - a lovely partially walled cottage garden with 3 different areas where you could sit and relax. We tried the hot tub on the first evening and it was gorgeous - lovely and warm with simple easy to follow controls and lovely views over the garden. Even in October, there were many flowers still blooming and it was a peaceful and relaxing place to be.This garden looks like it that has been loved and nurtured over many years.
The cottage is in a really quiet street and we always managed to park either outside it, or in the Premier Inn car park with the voucher provided for us in the Welcome Pack which is only a couple of minutes walk away from the cottage - so very convenient. Our party (3 adults) was aged from 60 to 87 and we were able to walk to all the local attractions. Chippy has some really good pubs which do a good choice of food and are very welcoming. We really liked The Fox and The Chequers. We also liked the Rustic Bean cafe and we loved the local bookshop too! We all agreed that we would like to return to Garden Cottage in warmer weather when we could take advantage of that charming garden. Even with October weather though, we managed to explore Oxford, Burford, Witney, Cirencester and Diddly Squat! Lastly, I must compliment Allison , the owner, on both her generous gifts on arrival (milk, bread, butter, jam/marmalade and a super tasty coffee sponge!) and her friendly, but unobtrusive contact via text which meant that we knew she was there should we need any help or information. We have been travelling to cottages all over the UK and we think this one is very hard to beat!

This cottage was like a warm hug and a lovely way to start our holiday! My son and I suffered jet lag so the bread, butter, and jam that was there at arrival served as a late-night toast snack! We loved the garden and spent many hours out there. The cottage is so close to the town that meals and coffee were short walks. We would stay again!

We had a perfect weekend celebrating two birthdays. Allison helped a friend to have a cake delivered and left us some surprise Prosecco and chocolate for when we arrived. The cottage was so quaint and in a great location. Check in was super easy. We had everything we needed, and were very grateful for all the little extras, like bread, milk, butter and coffee capsules! We made use of the hot tub one evening, which was great fun. The garden is so lovely - we'd love to return in summer to make the most of it.

From the moment we walked into the cottage we loved it. It had everything we needed. Allison has thought of everything and we loved the extra special little touches such as the little gifts that were left for us. Our dog Luna especially loved the comfy bed and big jar of treats that was left for her. The cottage is right in the centre of town but we never had an issue finding a parking space. I am already looking at returning to this wonderful Cottage. Thank you

What a beautiful little cottage for a weekend away. Warm and welcoming, with a perfectly equipped kitchen and comfy beds and sofas. We had a really relaxing break. The log burner was easy to use for cosy nights in and the garden is so pretty, even in late autumn.
Parking was no problem at all and we managed to park on the street outside the cottage every day. We appreciated the parking permit though and it was great to know there was a private car park to use with the permit if we needed it.
The little treats Alison left for our arrival were so welcoming and such a nice touch. We would really recommend a stay at Garden Cottage. If you do go we had a great lunch at the Fox in Oddington down the road and the little bookshop in Chipping Norton is definitely worth a visit.

The whole house was fantastic, with the only negative being how difficult it sometimes was to park up.
The garden was lovely, hot tub nice as secluded (even though we didn't use it this time), and everything about the local area was beautiful. We will hopefully be spending more time in the Cotswold's in the future.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Garden Cottage. The space is full of character with a lovely homely feel. We enjoyed spending time in the beautiful garden, especially the hot tub. The treats on arrival we’re very much appreciated and the hosts were very helpful. You have everything you need and the location is perfect.

We and our two girls (pugs) had a great stay in an amazing cottage. We have stayed in many cottages all over the country but this beats them all in how very well equipped it was. All high end appliances and kitchen equipment. Fab hot tub, which we made full use of, and seating/dining areas in the beautiful garden (with a plethora of apples from a magnificent apple tree) The girls enjoyed the treats and the was a large cosy bed provided for them. Thank you. Centrally situated in the market town which has great shops, pubs and eating places. Definitely recommend and we will be booking Garden Cottage again.

Beautiful period cottage nestled in the sleepy village of chipping Norton. A gentle pace of life was a much needed experience. We stayed as a family of four plus a baby and dog in tow. Perfectly located to reach many of the idyllic locations found within the Cotswolds. Only a 40 minute drive to Oxford, 25 minute drive to Bourton-on-the-Water and 20 minute drive from the Cotswold Wildlife Park (which is dog friendly!) made our stay a fabulous one with plenty to do for all the members of the family! Allison, the owner of the property, ensured personal touches were in place on arrival I.e. homemade cake and dog biscuits at the ready which made it feel like a home from home! We thorough enjoyed use of the hottub, helping to soak aching bones at the end of a long day of exploring.

The Garden Cottage was perfect for our little get away as a family. (Mum, Dad, daughter and two dogs) it was very pretty and felt like home from home, with a lovely garden. All the appliances were of a high quality standard and we enjoyed the hot tub and bbq too. We absolutely loved the little extra touches!! With the weather being so hot, it was nice to be in a cool cottage. The location was perfect, we used the local butcher, had a takeaway and visited a local cafe and pub and enjoyed a walk down by the church in the fields with the dogs. Didn't realise there was an open air pool, which was a shame, as it would of been a nice way to cool down. We visited lots of the local villages and did some walks, we ate like Queens and Kings and were made to feel very welcome by the locals.
I feel to improve the stay that little bit more, the cottage would benefit some really good outdoor lighting, the solar ones didn't really work, we loved spending time out there. And the other thing was larger bath towels, but other than that it was just what we needed.
Thank you.

A wonderful wedding weekend.
Garden cottage is located in a very central location both to the town and church.
Lovely cottage and tranquil garden with plenty of seating options.
The bookcases are filled with lots of books but alas we had no spare time to read them.
We enjoyed an evening dip in the hot tub in the garden.

Absolutely superb.
My partner and I have a truly fantastic stay at Garden Cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful with heaps of character and has everything you need for a break away. We absolutely adored spending hours pottering in the gorgeous back garden. We had dinner at the table, cooked on the BBQ, enjoyed evening sun by the fire pit and whiled away in the lovely hot tub.
Location wise it was also perfect, a short stroll to 3 pubs and all the amenities lovely chipping Norton has to offer. It is also an ideal base to explore Blenheim Palace, Stow on the World, Bourton on the water and the Rollright stones which range from an 8 to 30 minute drive away.
The owner provided lots of lovely little touches such as a cake, bread and milk, and biscuits for our dog.
We have already recommended to family and friends and are already looking to book again.

A lovely Cotswolds stay
We loved our stay at Garden Cottage and would definitely recommend to others looking for a weekend away in the country. The cottage had enough space for us all to stay and the garden is gorgeous with plenty of space to enjoy the sun, and relax in the hot tub! Location wise was perfect too, with lots of country walks on 5-10 mins drive away.
The only downsides would be the shower pressure isn’t the best and the hot tub didn’t heat up enough for us to use it on Friday evening.

Very well equipped property with hot tu. Situated in the middle of Chipping Norton an ideal location
Garden Cottage is well equipped for anyone looking for a holiday that feels like home from home, including a spiral stair case which gives the feeling of somewhere quirky, unique and special. The hot tub proved invaluable each day after long walks exploring the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and a night at the Chippy Theatre is recommended.
