The appartment we rented was huge! Above what we expected. Restaurant was good, the schnitzel was the best we had ever!

Very nice and professional stuff. Good dinner and standart breakfast. Quite big indoor pool (warm) and sauna , included in the price. Quiet place in a small village, even if on the map it seems to be nearby the main road.
I am not able to say much about the location (good/bad) as I was traveling alone on motorbike and I spent there just one night on the trip to France. So I do not know if the location of the hotel is good for longer stay.

The location is very nice, the pool is def a plus, our kids loved it. We had the Bad Hindelang Plus Cards, which were very appreciated, as we had free entrance to two different small water parks, free ride for the ski lifts and many other places.
Breakfast was always fresh, the staff was running around refilling, eggs were being served per request - omelett, boiled, fried etc. Fresh bread and rolls, everything that a person would serve for breakfast.
There's also an option for dinner, for whoever wants to.
There is an unpleasant smell in the hall way, probably from the rubber carpeting.
Extremely poor internet connection and also almost no network reception.
The bathroom was very old, it would need a renovation.
My kids slept on a couch, which was not so comfortable.

Apartment (actualy3 rooms for the whole family), location close to hikes, pool, friendly staff.
No snacks can be purchased during the day, so some planning is required.

Close to the Oberjoch ski resort, the swimming pool is big for the hotel size. Bad Hindelang Plus cards are included in the price. The staff is very friendly and international. The rooms and the apartments have been renovated in 2021/2022, so the old reviews about the old fashioned rooms might not hold true anymore.
The apartment is huge and the kitchen has all equipments we need. It has dish washer tabs and dish soap. The fridge is just as big as ours at home.
We have booked two more ski vacations in the same hotel.
The front desk was not always opened in the said business hours in the low season. I would recommend contacting the owner by email or by phone if you need someone to be at the front desk at a specific time. Only one toilet paper roll was available in the apartment, which is not enough for 5 nights. But this is just a minor issue for us.

Good value for money. This might be because I chose a room without balcony, something I regretted as I stayed a week and a balcony would have been nice.
For me, the concept of servicing the room on demand is ok.
The rooms are not that well sound isolated against each other, the sounds of the bathroom appliances of the neighbouring room are coming through the walls. Luckily, this is usually of a short duration.

The staff were so helpful, I had an issue because of booking.com trick while booking, but the hotel manager was so kind to sort it out. The location is also has lots of good attractions.

Beautifully quaint hotel with a nice bar and restaurant serving good food (one of the best schnitzles I've had in Bavaria!). Friendly bar staff who were happy to chat. Each room seems to have a balcony which is nice.
Reception was quite unfriendly! When I arrived the lady looked at me as if to ask what I was doing there 😂. No smile, no "welcome", just a quick run through of procedures. Check out was similarly robotic.
Single bed is quite small.
