We stayed here for a month and loved it! The apartment is beautifully furnished and very well laid-out, with large bedrooms and bathrooms separated by a huge open kitchen-dining-living space and terraces facing every direction - so you have a view of the ocean plus sunny and shady areas. The private hot tub was amazing, and we were always the only ones at the rooftop pool. The unit was spotless and had all the amenities, and there's a wonderful cool breeze so we never needed the air conditioning. As long as you don't mind walking uphill - it's on a steep incline for about 1/10 of a mile, and thankfully there's an elevator inside the building - or the sound of barking dogs and crowing roosters, you'll be very happy here.

The condo was beautiful, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance to the Malecon; however, it is a very steep hill the last block to the condo. Neighborhood is noisy, but fun to be in with locals.

Very relaxing space, tons of light and fresh air. Jacuzzi is not heated so was a little too cold to enjoy but the rooftop pool was rarely occupied and refreshing with stunning views. Full of amenities, staff helpful and friendly.

The views are spectacular. There were 4 adults so we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The 3rd "bedroom" is just a couch & tv. Great spot for kids to sleep but not another couple. It was easy to communicate with the property manager & I loved that they came & cleaned halfway through our stay. Great place to stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Just Right
This place is ideal if you want a true Puerta Valllarta experience. All the amenities you need and close proximity to town, dining, beach, etc. Pay no mind to the barking dogs and roosters though as they are part of the charm.

This property is impossible to match. Everything was perfect, from the location to the pool on the roof top. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen well supplied. Communication was fantastic. Could not fault it at all.

Location fantastic with everything one needs
We loved the location and the liveliness of the neighborhood that was more village life noises than night life/party noises — more chickens and dogs vs. neon and bass. We also loved the dipping pool, the roof deck, the washer/dryer in the unit, and the beds and furnishings which were all very comfortable. We also liked Alfredo the property manager who was always available and helped us with a COVID testsite suggestion very near the apartment.
There are some dislikes: we had a doorknob handle to one of the decks come off in our hand, the water pressure for a bath vs shower is miserable, and the lighting on the stairs in the common area does not always time well with you passing it (which means you can be plunged suddenly into darkness on the staircase) but most people probably use the elevator anyway.
We understand the condo is between owners but that Alfredo will manage the property still — that is a good thing. We would stay again!

Nice but could be better
It was exactly what you saw in the photos...a beautiful penthouse in a beautiful building. The condo smelled of strong mildew though and wasn't kept very clean for being such a new property. The third bedroom with the pullout sofa is literally unsleepable. We ended up using the main sofa in the living room. We had a great time and it is a beautiful property in a great location. Communication was great and easy. I just hope the owners find a better cleaning person.

The property listing is exactly what you get. Alfredo, the property manager, along with other staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The property has exactly what we needed and the roof pool had a wide-open gorgeous view of PV. It also should be noted that the beds were extremely comfy. The location was a 5 minute walk to grocery, amazing restaurants, and night clubs. If you can walk a mile, you'll be at the beach and plenty of taxis to take you further.

The hardest thing to find in Mexico, in my opinion, is an apartment with both comfortable beds and a comfortable couch - and this has both. Take a nap, curl up with a book, you're all set. And with only 5 apartments in the building, we had the rooftop pool to ourselves every day. The balcony plunge tub is also a big plus, for when it's raining or late. The apartment manager, Alfredo, was very on top of it with messages. Everything ran like clockwork. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely property, perfect for our family
The unit is lovely, and big enough to fit our family of 5. It was clean, communication was easy, and the property manager was helpful and responsive. The pool is great as well but if you’re with kids, make sure you watch them closely as it does not meet US safety standards (the VRBO owners emailed us this warning prior so we could make this decision ourselves). As long as you’re careful, perfect place to swim!

PV getaway
The property is so beautiful and luxurious. The view is amazing. We watched the sun set over the bay every night from the private hottub on the deck. It’s a little bit of a climb up the hill, but so very much worth it for the view. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity!

What a Great Week!
We stayed at this lovely Puerto Vallarta Penthouse for a week and it was great. The location is perfect and very walkable. Alfredo was able to help us for any issue we had at the drop of a dime. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone who wants a great view, a great time, and a great location.

Penthouse Comfort and Rooftop Views
Greg, Dwight, Alfredo, and Doris were all very timely, helpful, and communicative before, during, and after our stay. The property itself is in a wonderful neighborhood. We enjoyed the incredible mountain and bay views from the rooftop pool and deck. The location is close to endless restaurants and is a short walking distance to the Malecon, bus stops, and mini-marts. The interior of the condo was comfortable and had enough room for our party of 5. We had a fabulous time and hope to go back again in the future.

The condo was very spacious and in a true Mexican neighborhood so we found it quite charming. Staff were very friendly and spoke good englush so no communication problems. The owners of this condo were so great to deal with.

The location is interesting to be within a local neighborhood
The location is interesting to be within a local neighborhood and see the residences and kids playing and visiting on the street. You see the real lifestyles and not just the tourist areas and generic type of restaurants and stores. The hill going up is a bit steep, but I enjoyed the walk and greeting of locals going up and down the street.
We liked the unit, and we actually had the entire building to ourselves, so we really enjoyed hanging out on the roof relaxing and cooling off in the pool.
It would be nice to have larger and more each towels, as I ended up washing and drying the towels to use for the next day.
I was also a little disappointed that more staples were not provided. It's kind of inconvenient to have to go out and buy things like salt, pepper, saran wrap, seasonings and things like that. We're used to when we stay in other condo's in PV they usually have a lot of that stuff and then if you buy something, you just leave it for the next guest.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the condo.

Luxury in PV, Mexico!
The accommodations at My Vallarta PH were far better than expected. It was very comforting to have a team member meet you at arrival and walk you through the PH. They answer any immediate questions and give you a brief overview of the area/city if necessary. The PH is clean and spacious with lots of natural light in every room. The views are amazing!! You are surrounded by the ocean, mountains and the city. You have the entire top floor of the building and direct access to the amazing rooftop pool and lounge areas. On the rooftop the views even get better!!
I walked everywhere! The location is the best for access to the restaurants, beaches, river, shopping and hikes. If you want to adventure out further, you have options of transportation (Uber, cabs, buses...).
My most favorite part about My Vallarta PH is that you get a very good mix of the Mexican Culture while enjoying the luxury of the PH.
I have been enjoying Mexico for the last 10 years and this, by far, has been my favorite destination for all the above mentioned reasons.
It's great for beginners because the host are very responsive and knowledgeable on the area. It's also great for seasoned travelers because it's safe and fun with lots of options.
Th PH has all the best of the accommodations you would expect (hot water, A/C, comfortable beds, kitchen appliances, washer/dryer...)
I will return for sure!!!
