If you are looking for a vacation spot that feels like home, you have found it. The Memory Maker is a luxury dream home located on Lake Norman that is a perfect getaway! We are NOT a full-time year-round rental property nor are we managed by a property management company. This means you will be dealing directly with the homeowners for any needs, concerns, or wishes. We want to share our home with other families, on a limited basis, as a place to create life-long memories with one another, as we have done for many years. This Luxury Residence is 3672 sq ft that features 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and a large bonus room. Floor 1 consists of 10FT CEILINGS that offer a stunning and open floor plan with 2 Master Suites, an Open Kitchen with a large island to seat 6, a full laundry room, a Great room, a Pantry, and 2 Storage Closets. The 2nd Floor features 2 Bedrooms, a Full Bath, and a Bonus Room with bunks. The sleeping options are as follows: 3 King Beds, 1 Queen Bed, 1 Trundle, 4 Twin XL, and 2 Twin beds. In addition, this beautiful residence sits on a quiet cove on Lake Norman! The kitchen, great room, and 1 master suite all have perfect views of the lake with a connecting deck and covered porched attached. The main floor also features a dining table for 8 and a relaxing living room with picturesque views of the lake through very large open windows. The bonus room, located on the second floor, is a perfect getaway to play board games or watch your favorite movie. Our home also features a large outdoor custom stone patio with a fire pit, a two-tiered large fixed dock, and a floating dock with a ladder for easy water access to enjoy the lake. The house offers plenty of room to entertain, relax, or just enjoy the views. Whether it is sitting around the fire pit until or playing games, watching movies in the bonus room, or sitting on the porch drinking your morning coffee, this house is the perfect place to relax and allow the stresses of life to disappear. The Memory Maker is a one-of-a-kind house with the comforts of home and a beautiful view of Lake Norman.
Our home features a large open kitchen, bar with wine fridge, and a large island for 6 with all stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops. Fully equipped kitchen with blender, crock pot, toaster, Keurig, coffee pot, pots/pans, bakeware, dishware and countertop ice machine. There are plenty of different types of glassware for your favorite beverage, and we didn’t forget the corkscrew either! You won't even need to pack any spices since there is a spice rack with all the spices to cook up your favorite meal. We have a Weber propane grill just outside the kitchen on the deck with beautiful views of the lake while you cook! Our dining room table seats up to 8 adults, with an additional eating area out on the Porch where you can seat 6 or on the stone patio - all with spectacular lake views!
We picked only the best mattresses for all of the beds with clean, soft sheets, and big fluffy towels. We want you to feel pampered and spoiled!
Our Bonus room is fun for all ages with a game table for cards and board games, comfy couch, and a TV. Our Custom Stone Patio and Stairs lead to a large dock with great views of the lake as well. There you will also find all of the necessities for lake fun; floatation devices, life vests, fishing poles, as well as 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards for your enjoyment.
Our home also features a 16'x20" floating dock for all of the lake fun you could imagine and because we're located in a quiet cove you don't have to worry about boat traffic & waves. At the dock, there are several flotation devices to float on. The water is 8’ deep at the dock, so cannon balls are a must! Take a ride on our kayaks or paddle boards, look for the many turtles, and do some fishing off the dock. Our family loves to tie all of our floats together and hang out in the water all day!
Enjoy your evenings sitting by the fire in the comfy rocking chairs, perfect for the summer evenings and cool winter evenings as well. The lake is beautiful all year long! Feel free to browse our library of books or trade with your own! We also provide Wifi, internet service, and streaming Spectrum TV Service.

We are grateful this family shared their home for our family vacation. Communication was excellent, and the home is thoughtfully designed, decorated, and stocked! All the additional supplied items were so helpful and the home accommodated our 3 families with a total of 11 very well. We had a wonderful stay at Memory Maker!

Wonderful house that had every single thing you could need in a vacation home! Plenty of space for everyone and fun to be right on the lake! Woody and Cameron are excellent hosts and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed!

That was one of the experiences of renting the property. Woody was so generous with letting us use their coffee, tea, spices, paper plates, garbage bags. Everything was explained. They even came over when we could not find one of the beds to show us everything

Fire pit was very welcoming too. It was plenty of space for our group of 15 women.

Woody and Cameron were awesome to deal with. The house had everything we needed. We were in town visiting with our children who attend college, so the location was perfect. We utilized all the house had to offer. What made it even better was communicating directly with the owners. I would highly recommend this property, we will be back.

What a spectacular home! Tucked away at the end of Lake Norman is the Allens home. A small private driveway leads you to the front door and wow! As you pass by the dining room to the huge kitchen and open den you can see the lake through the windows in the back. Open the back door in the kitchen and the back deck surrounds the back of the house and a pathway leads to the lake. Its incredible!! The decor of the house is beautiful. It definitely feels like you are your own HOME and not a vacation rental. Swings and a fire pit in the back were great for hanging out and laughing with family. The massive kitchen is a wonderful gathering place where people laugh and smile. Settling in was the simplest thing as it felt like we were returning home from a trip. Everything you will need is there, EVERYTHING! Mr. Allen responds quickly and communicates whenever you need him. The one negative was that we had to leave! If you are looking for a place where family can come together and spend an incredible time this is it! Thank you to the Allens for opening up your personal palace of a home!

Our entire group was very pleased with the property and it more than exceeded our expectation. The home had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious. The host (Woody) responded very quickly to our questions as we prepared for our trip and was very responsive to a couple of questions during our stay. The patio and outside seating areas were very nice and the access to the water and use of some of their water equipment made for some late afternoon and early evening fun as we all wound down from our days of golf. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who has a larger group (or family with kids), the number of bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as a separate room specifically setup for kids makes it a perfect place.

This was by far one of our best lake vacation experiences. Starting with the host who was so kind and helpful. The house was beautiful and so well stocked. Being in a quiet cove with close access to larger water for skiing and tubing. Close to a grocery store. I mean what more can you ask for. Five stars all around.

The trip was a total wow experience. The owner was amazing and communicated extremely well before and during the visit. The house is beautiful and has every possible convenience. We brought our own boat and docking was a breeze. Our family boated, and swam each day. Such a wonderful vacation- cannot wait to do a return trip!

What a gorgeous, roomy house in the most perfect location! We had 8 kids and six adults and fit perfectly. We loved being right on the lake- we rented a boat and jet skis and had a blast. The house has all the cooking utensils and spices you’ll need and tons of life vests and lake water toys like kayaks and paddle boards and a huge mat. It was the most perfect stay and Woody kept checking in on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. He’s so responsive and such a great host! I can’t recommend this place enough! We hope to come back! Everything was just so fun and such a positive and welcoming experience! Wish we stayed longer!

I don’t have words to express how perfect our stay was at the Memory Maker!! The house was emasculate and Woody was the BEST host ever. The property is conveniently located to lake activities/amenities, dining and shopping. Highly recommend fishing from the dock!! Our family needed relaxing quality time together and that’s exactly what we got!! Not to mention the property and view were gorgeous!!

The cove was a perfect location for a peaceful and serene vacation. Cameron and Woody we so gracious and we were so grateful for their hospitality. I can’t say enough good things about our stay here!! The entire group was raving about their beautiful home. It was clean and so homey. Woody was truly the best host I have worked with. His communication throughout the stay and leading up to it was so helpful. I believe a good host can make the experience even better, and he really did!
They supplied so much for us since we were all out of state - lake towels, coolers, all paper products, cleaning supplies, coffee, and many other things. It’s a quick drive to grocery stories, restaurants, boat rentals. Fantastic outdoor space for entertaining! We loved sitting in the covered porch in the mornings with our coffee- it was so peaceful!

We had an amazing time at this lakefront home on beautiful Lake Norman! The kitchen and family room are large enough for the entire family to hang out! We spent most of our time outside on the covered patio and by the fire pit (when it wasn’t raining). The kids LOVED the bunk room and the hopping on the paddle boards/kayaks! The mattresses and bedding were super comfy! Woody was an amazing host and we hope to return again!

The property owner called ahead of our stay to introduce himself and to give us info regarding the home and our stay, and to let us know if we needed anything to give him a call. The house is well stocked with everything one would look for. Our family would definitely love to stay at the property again!

First off start with the HOSTS..they were attentive responsive but gave us our privacy. THEY WERE THE BEST..WHEN I SAY THIS PROPERTY HAS EVERYTHING...I MEAN EVERYYYYTHING..we are so use to traveling and providing different things for different homes..so I just bring everything my family needs...BUT THEY LITERALLY THOUGHT OF EVERYTHING...AND THE PICTURES DONT DO THE HOME ANY JUSTICE...ITS BEAUTIFUL AND HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A VACATION...IT WAS THE MOST STRESS FREE STAY I EVER HAD...P.S. THE OPEN FLOOR PLAN ON THE MAIN FLOOR MAKES IT SO EASY FOR A WHEELCHAIR TO GET AROUND FOR ACCESSIBILITY..I WILL BE RETURNING

This property was fantastic, as was the host! The house is clean, very comfortable, and well stocked. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our little family reunion. The cousins all stayed in the bunk bed room and had the best time. A beautiful property in a quiet, well kept neighborhood. Lots of room and all the amenities…fire pit, fishing, canoeing, etc…, you could ask for! The house is large and allows multiple couples to have privacy in a well spaced layout.

Gem on the lake
Our group stayed at Cameron and Woodys place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s a gorgeous home (pictures do not do it justice) with all the amenities you could ever need for a lake weekend. Flawless communication with the host. Loved having access to all the lake toys (floating mat, kayaks) and spent every evening on the back porch enjoying the weather and the sunsets. Big plus that all the outdoors lights are on timers—it creates the most beautiful ambiance! The kitchen was well equipped and we really appreciated the personal touches including the fresh flowers and the Cheerwine in the fridge. Would 100% recommend this home to anyone and we hope to stay again in the future!

Excellent lake house
We were a group of 6 adults and 3 kids ages 2 through 6. The house was excellent overall. Very clean, spacious, and convenient to everything.
The house actually looks better than the pictures In my opinion. The guest rooms were spacious and the kids bunk room was amazing.
You can tell the owners also use the house themselves and put a lot of care and love into the space.
The house was well stocked in the kitchen and for the essentials like toilet paper. There were also all a ton of games to play and water toys like floating mats and pool noodles to use in the lake. All of the TVs have Roku and are easy to use.
The lake cove was serene and very peaceful with easy access to the main channel.
We really enjoyed the house and would definitely rent from them again.

Wonderful Property and Hosts
We had a wonderful family vacation at this lovely home on the lake. The home had everything we needed and more! Impeccably clean throughout, comfortable beds and a great location in a quiet cove. The hosts, Woody and Cameron, were fantastic to communicate with. Their responses were timely and they strived to ensure our stay was excellent - which it indeed was. We have stayed at several Lake Norman vacation homes over the years and this one was by far the best. We hope to be back again!
