This house has potential but is not very well maintained or managed. First the positives. The house is a great size for a larger group of people. The views are very nice, the neighborhood is quiet, and the house is close to things to do. Now the negatives. Overall the biggest issue is the cleanliness. The surfaces and floors are swept and cleaned, but that is it. On virtually every surface above a person’s head there is a thick layer of dust and cobwebs. The other major problem was the mold and musty smell. The minute you walk in the house there is a strong musty smell. Many of the bathrooms had mold growing around the top trim, which the owners did address and had cleaned the same day. But our group should never have had to note this problem to the owners. The house should be fully cleaned, especially since there is a $295 cleaning fee. Lastly, the small things: the sound system in the media room was not connected properly and even after letting the owner know, it was not fixed. The media room also had fairly damaged walls and not all of the chairs reclined. The pots and pans are so damaged we had to buy our own to cook during the trip. The knives are so dull they can’t even cut an apple. The towels are worn and feel like sandpaper. We found several dirty dishes in the cabinets and drawers. Many of the walls need fixing and the carpets are pretty worn. I would not recommend staying at this property, which is a shame because the house has potential.

We really enjoyed our week in this cabin during our first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains. The location was perfect, halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, situated in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for our 8-person family and our dog, large kitchen, lovely deck with stunning views. The only criticism would be the cleanliness of the bathtubs/showers

We have stayed at numerous locations in the mountains. This cabin is by far the best place we have stayed. The cabin is very clean and very spacious. It is out of town just far enough for a peaceful stay but close enough to town to quickly go to dinner or attend attractions. Would not hesitate to stay here again!!!
