My sisters and I were attending softball tournaments. Only just over 6 miles from the fields. Also only a few miles from shopping for those free minutes. Was so nice to all have our own bed room. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked very well. The basement living area obviously had dogs on the couch so not very useable to us. One tread on the stairway down to the basement area was broken so had to watch our step. Was very comfortable. Thank you.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay. We had three dogs we were needing to accommodate, and the owners were very helpful. We asked to check in a couple of days early, and they made that happen. Perhaps because of this, things weren't quite as clean as they could have been - but again - not worth hassling about, and we were bringing three dogs. I only mention because it would have been more noteworthy had we not had dogs. Overall, our stay was great. The owners were very communicative, and eager to help in any way possible. Great location - central to everything. Getting out of the drive is a bit challenging, but the turn around pad is helpful. We did trim the bushes along the sidewalk to aid in vision as we were pulling out - that might be a suggestion. Great walking trails. House is very quiet considering it sits on a somewhat busy street - you don't hear the traffic inside. House has lots of potential and it's obvious the owners are investing in it! Would definitely stay again with our dogs!

Overall the property was 90% of what the online posting shows/states. One issue I had was that when I originally looked at the photos & read through the listing of this property, it showed that there was an outside grill on the back deck. It also showed that the basement had its own kitchenette with a full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave & sink etc.. My spouse & I took two of our employees to KC for a training expo - we had really been looking forward to the grill at the house to cook our evening meals, well there wasn't one. When I asked the host about it - they stated that the pictures of which the grill is shown in are from when they were still living in the upstairs & was only offering the basement for rent at that time. In the kitchen downstairs, the stove did not work - it was just for show, so that obviously created a problem. Luckily we had reserved the whole house & had our employees stay upstairs which has a full-size kitchen with all the normal amenities, otherwise we would have had a big problem. The only other issue I had was that there were lumps of dog feces that were left/pushed up under the area floor rugs in the downstairs bedroom & dining room. I of course told the host after our stay was over & they stated that they have a cleaning service that comes in after people leave so they'd bring it to their cleaning service provider's attention & thanked me for letting them know. In a weird way that made me feel better about the host & not like they was trying to pull a fast one or cover something up. They seem like genuine caring people & want to help their guests as much as they possibly can. I of course didn't have any issues with the host(s), just had problems with things being shown in pictures of the property online & then that not actually being what it was when we got there.

Stayed for a long weekend in KC. This was a great property with everything we needed. Having the garage was an added bonus. It was in the perfect location for us, halfway between both of the events we attended. Great property, great communication, great host.

This apartment is great! You don't even know you are in a basement because of the large window in the living room.
The backyard is amazing and our pups loved it.
The one down side (pun intended) is the stairs to get down to the unit. it is a process and I had two dogs and a spouse that required a little extra care to get down the step stairs. I think that is on us - but the over all the apartment was amazing and the amenities super.
The only other negative was our upstairs "neighbors" they wre loud and ran the vacuum late at night. That is not on the hosts, they were great and very responsive.
The location was also super. Grocery stores, shopping mall, QT liquor store and farmers market all within 5 minutes.
We would stay there again!

We enjoyed our experience here very much and was very surprised and pleased by the small amenities provided by the hosts. Communication with Kellyn and Xach was simple and The location had fast, easy access to the major freeways in KC. Only thing I wish there was, was another actual bed in the unit, but we knew that going in.

This place is clean and tidy—it looks exactly like the pictures! It’s actually more spacious in person (a rarity for rentals). This unit would be great for a couple, young family, or some very close friends (since there’s only one bedroom).
The fenced-in backyard was private, spacious, and perfect for my dog to explore. The bed and fold-out cot were both very comfortable.
We placed the cot at the end of the bed, but there’s other places it would fit in the unit if more privacy were to be needed. There’s also plenty of room for two pack-and-plays by the kitchen if you’re traveling with small children.
The owner was very responsive to any questions I had during the stay. The one drawback of this unit is the location. It’s on a somewhat busy street. There’s no road noise, but it can get a bit hard to pull out on certain times of day.
I would definitely rent this unit again and suggest it to a friend.

Great place to stay!
We were in Kansas to visit family & grandkids. It was nice to come back to our space at the end of a busy day and relax. Of course the sleep overs worked well here too and the grandkids had a wonderful time! Nice walking trail near by and the hosts were accessible, reliable, kind and professional. Thanks for a great place to stay Kellyn & Zach!

Our new go to place
Really enjoyed our stay here. The owners contracted covid a couple of days before our arrival. They left it up to us as to whether we would still stay, which we did, but we did not get to meet them. Had great communication with them throughout the weekend.,

Great place!
This is a great little apartment that I really loved staying in. There were a lot of little amenities provided, including cleaning and cooking supplies. The host was very communicative as well. We exchanged a few messages during my stay, and Zach was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone who needs a place to stay.

Perfect spot for a dog and her owner
This place was just what my dog and I needed while in town visiting family (who wouldn’t let any dogs in their houses). Good sized yard, and a basement unit converted to easily accommodate us!
