Relax by the creek
It was nice! There was some confusion if we could use the other side of the creek. Nice relaxing time.

Glamping at its finest
Wonderful, clean property. The cabin had everything we needed. This was our first time staying at a glamping type place and it did not disappoint. The creek was nearby and the water was cool. Lots of things to keep us busy (volleyball, pool, hot tub, horseshoes, etc) and relax at the same time. We would come back!

Great Affordable Getaway for Families
Overall, we had a wonderful time. The cabin was very cute and fun. Our little ones had a blast in it. It has all of the essentials, indoor plumbing, air conditioning, comfortable beds and a refrigerator.
The whole area is very neat. We had a great time playing pool, basketball, ping pong, shuffleboard, the playground, volleyball court and fooseball. The pools and hot tub were fun (although grassy). My 9 year old wanted to go for a "late night" swim (it was a little past 10pm, when the pool closes). The hot tubs were not running, so we were a little disappointed. All of a sudden, they turned on. I happen to catch the owner walking away from the pump room. I think he turned them on for us, even though it was past hours. That really meant a lot to us.
The creek water was beyond freezing for a native Texan, but my children loved it. We us the free kayaks and paddleboards to paddle down the creek and had a great time. The last day, we hiked down the creek a ways and put our feet in the water. We had already checked out of the cabin but decided to spend some more time there. We ate lunch right before we left in the air conditioned commonplace, which was a huge help not having to feed small children in the car and to be able to cool off.
The check-in was a bit strange and frustrating but that is because I did not read my email before coming. We booked through VRBO and expected to be messaged through there, which was not the case. So be sure to read your email and you will be fine!
We really could not be more pleased with the bang for our buck. It is not a 5 star resort, but it is a very fun, affordable getaway for the family. We hope to go back again somewhere down the line.

Great little cabin
We were impressed with almost every aspect of this property. It was definitely a beautiful cabin. There was a hot tub dirty and out of service and the "pond" was a dry hole but we enjoyed the pool and other hot tub, the teens loved all the games and family atmosphere, the swimming spot and kayaking was super fun even tho it was only low 70s our week there. Lots of beautiful places around the property and family fun. I gave it a 4/5

Birdhouse fun
We enjoyed this stay. A fun glamping experience with several amenities. I was personally sad about the hot tub not having working jets, it was basically like sitting in a tub of hot water, but other than that everything else was as advertised. We would definitely stay at this property again.

fun place to stay
The owners have done a lot with their best and the property has so much to do. There are a ton of glamping set ups and different options available on the property. It appears many people are renting these out to throw parties and they were very loud until the last minute that noise was aloud on the property. But as soon as quiet time started the property became very quiet. The beds are quite firm as just some information for people like me who are always looking for reviews to mention the mattresses. The property was clean and the staff was friendly.

Nice Property, Terrible Wifi
This property was really nice and the cabins were great and in great condition. The only problem we had was the Wi-Fi signal was not functional. The TV wouldn’t work either because it was dependent on the Wi-Fi. We had a good time but the advertising was that the Wi-Fi was blazing fast and it’s not. Property manager was responsive for a while in an effort to fix it but then went silent.

Great place with lots to do for everyone!
My family and I (wife and three boys ages: 6, 10, 13) had such a great time at Son’s Geronimo! The best part was there was so much to do for everyone in the family: kayaking, paddle boarding, pools, hot tubs, fishing and more. The cabin was also super nice and brand new! It was the perfect family getaway!
