The review title says it all. Very comfortable vacation home. Nice porches and decks. Nice interior for family or friends. Kitchen was well stocked. Baths and shower were good. It was all we needed and very pleased with our weekend at Crestwood Retreat.

It was rainy most of our stay. One of the king bedrooms was in the basement, lots of steps, and the main floor bedroom was a queen size bunk bed. All of our guests were over 65. It was warm in the basement bedroom and warm in the third floor king bedroom. We also had a dehumidifier running in the basement that was loud. It rained a lot and we had some water that leaked in the basement but the management team came and looked at it right away. The lighting in the kitchen could be better.
Most of all we enjoyed the views off the porch.

This house was beautiful on the inside and very clean. We loved sitting on the back deck and enjoying the mountain air. You can see the mountain tops peeking above the tree line, and listening to the trees rustling in the breeze was simply beautiful. this house is about 20 minutes or less to downtown Asheville. The house is made of solid wood, so it creaks but not did not bother us at all, though. We had a bear come right into the yard, so we got to watch him from the safety of the (very high) porch. We walked to the little nature preserve at the top of the mountain and walked those trails one evening. We definitely love this home and would love to book again in the future, one of the cleanest well put together home we’ve had the pleasure to stay in.

We rented the house to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday with immediate family. The house was clean, spacious, and easy access to downtown and river arts once down the mountain road. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay ! The property was fabulous ! The only real issue we had was that there were not enough towels . We had 10 folks staying and 7 or 8 towels . Also, there were not enough garbage cans (outside) to accommodate all our trash.
Overall though … we thoroughly enjoyed it !

This house was perfect for a girls weekend trip of 5 guests. The area was quiet and safe and the views were amazing. Would stay here again.

My family and my husband, sister and brother-in-law all spent four wonderful days in this cabin. The beds are comfortable. The open space is great for everybody being able to hang out and enjoy one other’s company. We cooked there every day and enjoyed having meals around the farmhouse table. All the views from around the cabin are gorgeous, we sat on the porch every morning and watch the sunrise and you could even see it setting a little bit as you looked out in the evening. This is a wonderful place to get away.

Lovely home, comfortably fit 8 adults. The porch and the view were also very nice! Definitely still need to be mindful of the mountains, we did see a bear one morning sniffing around the outside of the house. And there’s a bit of a drive to get up to the house. The house was clean when we arrived, there were plenty of towels and dishes. The only thing we did notice is that we kept finding yellow jackets and wasps in the house and we couldn’t figure out where they were coming from (we didn’t leave doors or windows open). But otherwise we had a nice stay!

This was perfect for a big group of girls! We had the best time with the best views of the mountain. It’s little bit aways from downtown Asheville, so Uber was expensive. However, if you have a vehicle, it’s perfect!

Spacious, beautiful mountain home with great views. It’s close in proximity to tons of restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores. Biltmore is super close by and tons of breweries are within 10-20 minutes of driving from the home. The road to the house was pretty typical of most homes with a view, but very doable if there isn’t inclement weather and you’re in an SUV. The major reason this is not getting five stars, and only four, is due to the cleanliness of the home. It’s very evident that only the beds, bathroom sink/tub/toilet, and fridge get cleaned. The floors, counters, appliances, and all other areas of the home, etc. are extremely dirty covered in spider webs and layers (and layers) of dust. Be aware, too, that the constant house creaking could be due to the drastic temperature changes from when you arrive and it being 55 degrees in the home and having to get it up to reasonable, warm temps. It took almost a full day to get warm in the home, but once it was warm it was comfortable and consistent the duration of the trip. Overall, we definitely recommend this home, but want others to be aware of those two details when you stay.

We absolutely loved this house! We loved the fact that you felt like you were way up in the mountains but also super close to everything. The house had everything you could possibly need and more. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others!

Gorgeous home, great view off the back deck of the mountains...close to downtown Asheville but in an area full of wildlife. Easily slept all 9 of us comfortably, and plenty of space. Loved it!!

Great place in Asheville for your group!
This was the perfect place for our group in Asheville. Only about 20-25 minutes from all the happenings in Asheville. The cabin was clean and ready on time. Very secure with two lock boxes. Only negatives were that the downstairs shower drain never actually drained so it was only good for 1 shower and the trash/recycle bins were full when we arrived. Overall great place though, would stay again.
