Had a few glitches. The code given on the reservation was incorrect. Called owner but before she called back we found the correct code. Absolutely love this little home. It was myself, my adult granddaughter and my dog. The place was clean, very important. Location for us was perfect. I tried to contact the owner as we were not given any instructions regarding what to do when we leave so I stripped the bed and made sure everything was as it was when we arrived. I’d definitely stay there again.

Very clean. Easy to locate. Cute place to use as an outpost to go see sights and really refer to others.

What a perfect place for a couple. True old fashioned Florida style home. It’s like a really large studio apartment. Lots of room in the driveway for our kayak trailer. Ingenious cubbyhole furniture for organizing any supplies. Kitchen is a bit sparse in cookware, but we always plan for that so it was no consequence. Small screened in porch and it worked perfectly for us. We were there for four days and didn’t come close to exploring all the area has to offer. The skeeters were fierce and we had also planned on that. I feel like we got a great deal for the price we paid. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Stayed 4 nights, great location in Chokoloskee. Place exceeded my expectations. Its set up to cool meals, sleep, and park a boat out front. Makes a great fishing headquarters.

This was my second visit to the area so chose this place for it's location. The home was in a great location. Building a new three story home across the street but construction noise was not bad. Home could use a new mattress and larger TV. No extra garbage bags or paper towels were left and Keurig coffee maker was old. Coffee pot would have been better. Back screened porch was very peaceful although the furniture was very dirty. I brought my own fold out chairs so we used those. Awesome old tree in backyard. All in All for what we went down there for, to unplug it was adequate and priced right.

Had a very good time staying in Chokoloskee, and the Fin and Fun was the perfect place to return after a day of paddling and fishing. Teri and Tim are very friendly and responsive. The place was clean, plenty of room for my wife and I to organize gear, prepare meals, and hang out after a day in the sun. I really liked that we were out of the tourist fray, but with only a block walk to Smallwood Store for amazing sunsets, and another block to a funky and very good local restaurant.

The property was lovely, clean, had everything advertised. There could have been instructions on things like expanding the couches to a bed (we never figured it out), the keurig, how to light the gas stove, and especially the location of the nearby local supermarket. We really wanted to support the local community. The tv is very small and difficult to see from anywhere in the room. It was Superbowl Sunday so that was a bit disappointing. Thankfully we didn't spend much time in the room watching tv. Bring your own blankets as they 're not supplied The sheets were very soft and the towels a good size. The backyard and screened porch were very nice. Do not forget your bugspray as the mosquitoes are the size of a small bird. HavAnnas restaurant just down the road was delicious. Whether dinner, dessert or coffee~we tried all~ you need to stop in. And your pup will be welcome. Don't miss the swamp buggy ride at Wootens. It was even better than the airboat ride. The tram ride in Everglades National Park was worth the 1/2 hr wait to get in. Fin and Fun is the perfect spot for your visit. The host has made Fin and Fun a great place to stay. Close to all the places you want to see while visiting the Everglades and nice and comfy to unwind after a day of roaming.

We were happy to be able to stay with our small dog. We enjoyed the back yard. The neighborhood was very walkable and a restaurant within walking distance. There was new house construction across the street but we were out much of the time. Kitchen was adequate. The bed was hard but we actually slept well. It was great to have a washer and dryer. Tons of space though kitchen was cramped as it’s set up.
We appreciated earlier check in when requested.

this property was well designed to accommodate two people very nicely. It was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dinner ware and there were ample linens in the bathroom for a three night stay.

A cute cabin vibe on an island. All the comforts of home. Neat and clean. Teri was very resposive to our questions. Laundry availability was a plus.

The cottage is open concept and fully equipped. We had a brief issue with wifi but Terri had the technician come and fix it right away. Chokoloksee is a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by natural beauty all around.
Great location for exploring the beautiful Florida Everglades. Hiking, bicycling, kayaking, fishing and several attractions nearby. We saw manatee, dolphins, fish, alligators and every type of bird imaginable. Walmart and Publix etc. located 30 minutes away in Naples. There are several restaurants and a small grocer nearby in Everglades City. HavAnna’s Patio Restaurant is a short walk and has great food and friendly staff.

Teri is great, the backyard is wonderful, especially if you have dogs with you. The bed is very uncomfortable, and there's not a lot of hot water if people are taking showers back to back, which is the only reason I gave this property a 4/5 instead of 5/5. Would stay again in a heartbeat. We stayed 6 nights and then went up to Tallahassee for a few nights and we all wished we would've stayed longer in Chokoloskee. It was a great stay!

Its got the old florida style feel without being pricey. Its great location to walk the dogs and not far from many kayak launches. What i was looking for

Excellent stay, Teri is great,
Nice touches that makes the stay wonderful.
The only negatives were, no drying towels, clothes for the kitchen, not enough trash bags.
No problem though, I brought some.
