Exterior of property smells like dead animals, cockroaches inside, maggots all over exterior trashcan, bug guts all over the walls, scary guy in the middle of the street with a pitbull who sneers at you when you drive by and does not move for traffic. Filthy next-door property with garbage and filth.Back yard is weed infested and not usable.Left the property 3 days early. No reply from Owner when we left or ever. It’s been weeks.

All was great except temp was not controllable so we froze. Only 1 burner of stove worked. Had a 9 month old baby that crawls- under cabinets all dusty and gross, and under bed dead cockroaches. Fans cakes with grimy dust. Counters and bathrooms were clean but closets smelled like animals had been in there urine and moldy. Hung clothes but they came out stinking.
Checkin was easy and owner was great.
Trash was overflowing trash cans in carport.
House was nice and quiet so
That was good.
Not sure I could stay there again unless owner changes his cleaning people.

This is a nice home, it was a perfect location for our stay. The neighborhood was not what I expected but was absolutely great for our stay and the home was clean and great for the price.

Everything in house pretty good. Not sure why beds (at least the 2 singles) don’t have top sheets or pillow cases. I’m a guy with buddies -so not a big deal, but ladies probably won’t approve. Quiet neighborhood, little rundown as is evidence of neighbors who opted for the weathered plywood siding look; but not much you can do about it. Never heard a peep at night so that was cool. Ideal for fellas attending FCS championship or families.

The house in and I’d itself is not bad … it was clean, straight. But oh my gosh! The house next door was a nightmare! It was scary to get out of the car! Really atrocious.
The house we stayed in had a few places it could be improved upon: in the main bedroom the router and wiring for the WiFi was left on the floor right next to the door. We almost stepped on it. They need a table, a cabinet or something to protect your guests and your equipment.
Both bathrooms had light bulbs burned out. When one guest sat down on the bed all the slats fell out - more than once. There were no pillow cases on any of the pillows. There was only a single sheet - one had to either sleep on top of the mattress cover or under the comforter with no sheet to separate you from whichever you didn’t place the sheet. I’m sure the comforter And the mattress cover are not washed every time a guest stays there.
These are all fairly minor things but all together made for a disappointing stay. But the overwhelming complaint is the neighborhood. Truly scary.

Absent all day for the six days we spent here, it was always a great treat to return after dinner to this quiet district of McKinney. It was perfect for us. Everything worked as it should, and it was very comfortable. Towels in particular deserve a special mention. They were plentiful and fluffy and a delight to use. All in all this was a great location for our purpose of visiting friends and as a base for touring this lovely part of Texas.

As Described
The check in process was smooth. The house was as described. We found the distance/area/busyness of roads to make it not quite walkable to downtown, but it was an easy drive to the square for meals and shopping. The neighborhood was very busy. Lots of cars parked in the street and coming and going from neighbors. Also, mowing began before 7 am on a Sunday morning along with barking dogs. Overall, it was a fine stay but not quite what we were looking or hoping for this time.

House was very clean and comfortable.
Home is in the older part of town but that is where I wanted to be. The location was perfect for attending the Arts In Bloom Fest.

Nice mock up inside
Neighborhood and neighboring home is disrepair, church across the street has a shared out door food sharing box that was sweet to see people leave food and take food that needed it.
The inside is very nice.
It hailed and rained and we found 3 cockroaches that made it hard to not be paranoid that they would get in our suitcases or crawl on us at.night. Not used to seeing or having those in a house.
The appliances are nice.
I would recommend washing the inside of thr kitchen trash can.
Overall a nice mock up and stay, everything pretty new and well kept. There was a curly hair on my pillow which was a little icky but I understand may have been from prior guests.
The provided shampoo and toiletries was a nice bonus and generous.

Great property but neighborhood is pretty rundown
Great stay .

Weekend getaway
Only one issue which may be a continued concern for other guests. When you take the garbage out, the area is muddy which then tracks to and in the house.
