Located close to the Deschutes River, Mt. Bachelor, several golf courses, and numerous hiking and biking trails, Towering Pines Retreat is a brand new 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome in the Deschutes National Forest. Towering Pines Retreat has new and luxurious furnishings as well as a cozy fireplace and large fire pit to give you the best of indoor/outdoor living. The house is bright and has a modern mountain feel. A spacious (2000 square feet) open concept living/dining area and 2 bedroom suites, all conveniently located on one level, make this the perfect Bend getaway. A well-equipped kitchen with new, high end appliances awaits your inner chef. Whether you are preparing a meal to share with family or entertaining friends, this home's light, bright, open kitchen/dining/living area provides the perfect setting.

With an amazing view of towering pine trees, the living room area is open to the kitchen and dining areas creating ample gathering space and the ideal place to spend your vacation together with family or friends. A large SMART TV is conveniently located in the living room. You may log into your own Netflix, Amazon, or Apple accounts, or watch television on your own personal devices using the provided WiFi. A powder room is conveniently located for guests and to ensure privacy in the bedroom suites.

Master Suite #1 has a large comfortable King size bed, with dual nightstands for your convenience. A dresser and large walk-in closet ensure you will have plenty of space to stow and organize your belongings during your stay. A reading chair makes the perfect spot to escape with a good book. The ensuite bathroom has dual sinks, a large soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower.

Master Suite #2 includes a Queen bed with dual nightstands. There is plenty of storage space with a dresser and walk-in closet. A cozy reading chair is provided to complete this peaceful suite. The ensuite bathroom has a single sink and a walk-in shower.

Enjoy the amazing bluebird skies and stellar, starry evenings in Bend by enjoying the lovely outdoor space. An outdoor grill is perfect for a summer barbecue with outdoor dining to enjoy your meal al fresco. When the cool mountain air creeps in at night, there is a fire pit with adirondack chairs - the perfect spot to wind down after a long day enjoying the outdoor wonderland of The High Desert.

An attached two car garage provides plenty of space for gear storage and cars. A mudroom and laundry room with a washer and dryer make it easy to come home and clean up after a day on the trails and on the slopes.

Spend the day hiking or cycling the many trails that pass by the house, and then relax on the patio in the evening. The house is nestled in between and within walking distance of Widgi Creek Golf Course and the Seventh Mountain Resort. Widgi golf course provides high value golf on a traditional golf course design among old growth trees. Seventh Mountain Resort has an onsite Bar and Grill, offers horseback riding and rafting trips during the spring, summer, and fall, and ice skating during the winter. A disc golf course and a kid’s mountain bike track also are available.

Bend’s Old Mill District and Downtown Bend are a quick 8 to 10 minute drive from Towering Pines. Catch a concert at the amphitheater in town or enjoy some great dining at the many restaurants and breweries.

Towering Pines Retreat is located in the closest residential neighborhood to Mt. Bachelor. This is particularly advantageous in the winter to beat traffic to the mountain so that you can get an early start for a great day on the slopes.

Wonderful home!! Very nicely furnished. Widgi creek gc was great!! Recommend a couple of standing fans for bedrooms. Only issue we had was keypads not working. It’s a great home!

Our stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. The home is spacious, clean, exactly as photos show, feels like a brand new home, is stocked as needed and over all just lovely. The garage was large, clean and mostly empty - so easy to park in, making unloading simple. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - with morning coffee, and evening cocktails on the patio. Lovely hikes very close, and we were off in Bend during our days. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay again here again in the future.

This property is still clean and neatly organized. The host provides everything you need, including ziplock bags, foil, Saran Wrap, a full complement of glassware and dishes, and extra towels. The beds are super comfortable. The living space is comfy with the built-in fireplace and the dining area was perfect for our little family of three. We will definitely be back!

This is a lovely home in the Seventh Mountain neighborhood. For us it was perfectly located. Quiet and serene, but only a few minutes from downtown Bend. The home is fairly new and well appointed and very clean. We were two couples and the house is perfect for that. We would definitely stay here again.

House was nice but not managed well. Upon arrival the trash cans were filled to the brim from the previous guests, stinking up the garage and leaving no room for any additional trash. For some unknown reason the plumbing in the house made the water unsuitable for drinking, meaning we had to be told to boil the water prior to drinking. Really? For a brand new house and the price they charged, why should it feel like we are staying in a 3rd world country? The house didn't have any extra linens or towels, and wasn't serviced during our stay. Just felt like the management company does not consider the guests' experience. Quite disappointing.

We loved that this was the closest lodging for skiing at Mt. Bachelor. Very clean, modern, large home with only one attached wall to the neighbor home, so it was also quiet. The only time we could hear the neighbors was when they were outside on their outdoor patio. It was well worth the extra price compared to condos at that same location.

The house was immaculate and well stocked with spices, kitchen equipment, and other supplies. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as the BBQ. One suggestion would be to have the YouTube TV subscription included by the owners. Overall we would highly recommend this home.

Enjoyed our week here without question. Beautiful property, well appointed kitchen, plenty of space for two couples. Large garage, nice firepit. The only (minor) complaint was the lack of TVs in the bedrooms, and the awkward layout of the common area sofas. An ottoman(s) would make a world of difference for comfort after fun days on the mountain and trails. Propping feet up on the glads coffee table that is there was somewhat unnerving. In any case - definitely would be back without hesitation.

We spent a month at Towering Pines and loved it! We have stayed in the neighborhood before and love the access to the mountains, snow, and river hiking trails, but it is still close to the grocery store and restaurants. We loved that this unit has a small yard and beautiful views of the trees and we really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit. The unit itself is very comfortable. It had everything we needed, yet it is simple and clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property helped to make this one of the most memorable vacations. The property was beautiful and so tastefully decorated. All the amenities needed to make for a great vacation. The firepit and fireplace were just perfect for some down time after a great day of hiking, golfing, horseback riding, floating on the Deschutes. Also, enjoyed the walking trails close by behind Seven Mountains Resort.

This was our first family trip to Bend, and we thoroughly enjoyed the home overall. Great location for access to the trails and town. Kitchen is well appointed, but it would be nice to have some basics for families like ours that cook a lot (e.g. nice spice rack but no salt or pepper!, only half a roll of paper towels, no grater/zester, outdoor grill locked and unavailable). The Brita filter in the fridge was moldy and disgusting. We didn't throw out only so you could see. Main bedroom and bath is very nice. Second bedroom bed was uncomfortable and linens (synthetic!) should be upgraded. Consider adding a welcome package. For spending $4,000+ for the week, would have been nice to receive some local beer, maybe butter, milk, loaf of bread from a local bakery. Also an option for a midweek cleaning. Might also be nice to include bikes, at least cruisers. There is plenty of room to store them in the garage. Nice touch to have Netflix access on the TV. Couldn't find paper or pens anywhere. We look forward to our next visit to Bend.
