You have your own private front yard, backyard, and single car driveway. We are here if you need anything, or want to meet our famous pet mini pig, who the guesthouse is named after. But we also offer complete privacy if desired.

We stayed here a few times. Love feeling like being in a home away from home. Owners are amazing and have helped me find things I need and even sent me back something I forgot! Love this place!

Had a great stay. Well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect for walking to the historic district. As a baby boomer, the techie TV stuff was hard to navigate for me, but they younger folks probably consider it normal. I would stay here again when visiting my cousins in Folsom.

The neighborhood was nice and location was perfect for walking to the downtown area.
The house was as advertised a perfect for us. Welcoming space with a homey feel which I appreciate. The binder of recommendations and area attractions were on point and helpful. The owners were available if needed and gave me all the details needed for a smooth checkin and check out.
We highly recommend this place and would gladly rebook in the future.

- A complete small home on two levels, with a large bedroom upstairs.
- Nicely decorated with all the comforts of home.
- Access to Winnie the Pig, who was voted "Local Hero" in a recent poll.
- Easy day trips to Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and gold rush towns like Coloma and Placerville.
- One mile away from Folsom Prison... go to museum and gift shop.
- Hosts were wonderful!!!

This is a lovely little above-garage guest house located on an alley. The house was comfortable, beautifully decorated and full of thoughtful little touches that we appreciated.
Parking is tight if you have anything larger than a small to mid-size vehicle, and the bedroom is above a garage so when the garage users open and close the door you can hear it as well as feel it--not a huge issue, but something to be aware of if you are a light sleeper like me. Beyond those two things, it was a wonderful stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We loved being so centrally located. We were able to walk to Old Town Folsom for meals and even caught a parade from a balcony during our Saturday morning breakfast.
Would absolutely rent again. Thanks for a great stay!

I rented Amber and John's property over a rainy weekend in January with my 14 year old who had a mountain bike race at Folsom State Park. The cottage was perfect for the two of us. The main bedroom and bathroom are upstairs in a quiet well-proportioned cove, with the kitchen, sitting area and extra fold out bed/couch downstairs. My daughter was very comfortable sleeping in the fold out couch, and we found the kitchen to be well- equipped. I want to specifically call out the fresh coffee beans and grinder they supplied so my morning coffee was better than at home! Amber also provided me with a delicious bottle of wine which was a nice touch. The cottage is within walking distance of the historic district and had it not been storming the entire weekend my daughter and I would have enjoyed walking to shops and restaurants. Amber was also very responsive when I had trouble initially opening the door. Only one word of caution is that the driveway is relatively short which would make it difficult to park a large car or SUV. Plenty of parking on the street however.

Beautiful, quiet, close to trails and charming downtown shops. The hosts were responsive and exceptionally gracious. The home was equipped with everything we needed or wanted. It genuinely felt like a home-away-from-home. My spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This guesthouse is decorated beautifully with many thoughtful touches. The owners clearly take great pride in this space. The space was clean and beautiful. There were also lovely touches throughout - snacks and wine for guests, cold drinks, toiletries. We would absolutely recommend this place for a stay in historic Folsom!

Wow, just wow!
The place is great, as you can see from the pictures. The location is perfect as well but, my rave review is about the host! Totally leaves you alone if that’s what you want but when I had an allergy attack she brought me essential oils and diffuser to the front door which fixed me right up! We will definitely stay again when next in Folsom!

A home away from home
The rental is tucked away in a private, residential area that has beautiful Historic homes. Roses in bloom, beautiful palm trees, and in walking distance to dining, shopping, and sight seeing of Sutter Street in historic Folsom. From the personalized message, gift at the door, and meeting Amber, John, dogs, and Miss Winnie, the Place was exactly as described and was absolutely perfect! We will be staying again.

Comfortable, fun stay
Had to come to Folsom for a short conference so I brought a friend along. The place is so homey, cute, and comfortable. Amber and John adorably gave us a bottle of wine and some chocolates and even arranged a little meet and greet with Winnie. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay in Folsom! Everything in the description was accurate, plus some.
Amber's house was clean but also had personal touches that made us feel right at home during our stay. Probably one of my favorite rentals I've ever stayed at and will definitely book again next time we are travel to the area.

Perfect Spot in Historic Folsom
We loved our stay for our weekend trip to Folsom. We walked down Sutter street and enjoyed the local restaurants and breweries. The house is perfect for 2-3 people, has comfy bedding and the owners were very friendly and left local gifts for us. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. We are just sad that we never met Winnie the pet Pig.
