We had a great trip. The house is about 150 yards walking to get on a groomed slope. No big deal. Coming back is a little bit closer. If you can walk a bit in ski boots, this was doable.
There was plenty of room (as described), not skimpy on shampoo or soap etc. The kitchen had also many utensils, herbs, and some basic starter food (rice, coffee filters, etc) so you didn't have to buy every single item, which we appreciated. They also came and shoveled the path to the jacuzzi and the patio! That was very nice.
We had an issue with the garbage that wasn't picket up, but the management company solved that.
Overall, we had a great stay.

A great sort of ski-in, ski-out house. "Sort of" because you have to walk about 50 yards to get to the mountain. Entry is near a bridge off the Adams Avenue trail just below the Alpine Springs lift.
We had a group of 7 and it was very comfortable.
The only criticisms, the house could use some upgrades, and they didn't supply us with some basics such as extra garbage bags, etc. But really minor complaints.

Our group of 11 loved staying at the Wood house. The house is a little dated, but the pictures represent it well, so we knew what we were getting. Most importantly, I think the house is a fantastic value, considering the location, the amenities and the space it provided for our fairly-large group. Everything in the house was in working order, and most importantly, the heating worked well across every level. The hot tub was a great experience, and incredibly, without us asking for it, it was serviced half-way through our stay, so it was always clean. I can't say enough good things about this house - you cannot get a better value/experience in Snowmass!

It is very sweet and has old cabin vibes. Great space and enjoyed being with my family (four of us). I like the old time feel of the property, but in our case there were several things that were very worn. The hot tub was not ready for use; the green never cleared even with a pool service. The lock, though the very kind property manager provided us with a key, was broken and caused frustration as we were trying to get on the mountain the first day. all these little things were annoying, especially on vacation at this price.

It's an older home with enough bedding for 12(3 Qs, 4 Ts, and 1 full sofa bed). Kitchen with older but working appliances. Plenty of spices and condiments. Basement was cold so we used the electric heater provided. Basement thermostat did't work. Plenty of sheets and towels. Washer and dryer in the basement but no detergent. Nice fireplace with plenty of firewood. Location is good. Steep driveway so need 4WD, but we still needed a tow on one icy day.
This is NOT ski in/out. You can cut thru trees and ski to across the street. To ski out, the entry is 200+ yd up slope. We loaded skis on the SUV and drove up while skiers hiked.
Trash day is Wed. We arrived Mon and the trash bin was full from previous renter. Was it my responsibility to take out other people's trash? Not happy so I texted Vacasa and they cleared out the trash next day. House was clean on arrival. Vacasa texted us and let us check in early.
Cable TV was out all week but WiFi worked, enough for streaming on the big TV. One night the electricity was out in basement and Vacasa told us to look for the panel. We spent 1 hr + inside and out this house looking for it. Finally Vacasa called a local guy who solved the problem in 5 min.
Biggest issue was the hot tub. Water was yellow and it needed service. The service was done next day but they didn't replace the water until 5 days into our rental. So we got to use the hot tub for 1 day. Vacasa did refunded us 2% of our rental fee.

The house had plenty of room and was really close to Snowmass, but it says ski in ski out and it’s definitely not. We had to pay to park every day and a store, our skis, so that added up and we really wanted a true ski in/ ski out but overall the house was great and our vacation was amazing.

The house is perfect for a single family or two families. It is a few hundred feet to the ski run and there is a great hot tub for apres ski. The house has plenty of room to spread out because of the three levels.

Location is great, house is outdated, difficult to get in and out of during the winter. Heater was average in the house. Definitely needs work for the price they charge.

The house provided a comfortable space for all of our family. We enjoyed communal cooking, the big harvest table, and the ample seating in the living room. Having bedrooms in the basement meant young ones could nap while the rest of the house carried out their different activities. Sitting on the deck or in the hot tub at night while listening to running water was soothing. Our family enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

This was a very large and affordable property in comparison to other places we could find in snow mass. It is only about one and half miles from all the restaurants, shops, etc. in snow mass. My only complaint was the large gaps in the railing on the deck. We had to keep our little ones inside unless an adult was with them so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked.
