About this house rental

Enjoy lake views from every room! Our cottage faces a cove on one side and open water on another. We have 167 feet of private lake front access with both a floating slip dock and boat ramp. The outdoor areas (including the screened in porch) are directly on the water and offer places to rest and gather when you are not swimming, fishing or sunbathing. This is a very rare find. The home itself is a light-filled 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat built in the 60s. We hope you will plan a visit soon!

My husband and I spent his birthday and our anniversary at the Lake House. The lake was beautiful, and the house was very comfortable! We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch watching the boaters and the ducks. Would definitely return!!

Relaxing stay on the lake. Everything was as described. Easy access with no difficulty. Nice location for day travel to surrounding towns. The beds were comfortable.

The property was kinda small according to picture, but cozy. The water views were amazing! Boat ramp and dock are a convenient plus. However, there was dog hair on cushions, spider webs, and filth on porch and screened porch, the grill was too dirty to use... a little more detail to cleaning. The small refrigerator and freezer (no ice maker) was too small to accommodate our needs, but we worked with what was provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time at this property. I loved feeling like we were on the water from the porch. My husband and son fished off the dock and caught some really big ones. We brought our boat and actually spent a lot of time on the lake despite the chilly weather. I hope that our schedules work out to come back soon.

We have stayed at this house before, I actually had to change my dates so we could stay at this house. It's so popular lol it was booked up. All you have to bring is your food and clothes. Every thing is available throughout the house. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks for helping us celebrate our anniversary!!!

I usually do not give reviews, but this cottage was so special I felt like I should. It was very clean and so well equipped. I brought lots of kitchen items and miscellaneous other supplies, but it was not needed. The description of water views everywhere is most accurate. One family member said while sitting on the screen porch…I feel like I’m on a house boat. Very quite and relaxing location. I hope to book this cottage in the future!

I stayed outside everyday . Found a cozy place beside the lake under the shade of the big Oak tree . Along with the cool 1 to 10 mph breeze off the lake allowed us to enjoy everyday in the outdoors . I was steps away from boarding my two jet skis easily tied off from the dock, with snatch lines . When you like , getting to and from the comforts of the Lake House take only few steps , providing all those things you would need to be comfortable. Just 2 adults for our stay , where we had enough room and could use separate bathrooms . The beds are comfortable and we slept well . Thanks for having us , we enjoyed our stay at Lake Greenwood .

We stayed for a few days with our adult daughter. The space is small but perfect for just the few of us. Quiet, clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. I would have liked to be able to walk in the mornings, but the road is not conducive to that. Just an fyi for anyone interested in that also. Right on the water, very peaceful.

Beautiful view of the water, perfect getaway for family of 4. Stayed 11 nights and had fun on water boating, fishing and swimming. Very clean house; had everything we needed. Internet worked great to work remote, and screened in porch made for relaxing place to read/play games. RECOMMEND!!

Small cabin right on the water - literally! Description is accurate, very cozy & quiet The weather was mostly terrible and unusually cold so we didn’t take advantage of the outdoor areas except one morning with a rental pontoon at the dock. Easy to town and other areas even though feels remote.

The home was as expected from the description. There was even some games on there home to be played. It was perfect for 5 adults. My parents (83) liked it and slept well in the master bedroom. We cooked some meals and enjoyed the screened in porch in the evening. I would def recommend this home

This house is in a very quiet area, which is exactly what we wanted. You cannot beat the lake views. We spent the whole week on the porch despite the chilly weather. Great trip.

My sister and I loved our stay together here. The beds are extra comfy and everything so clean! We especially enjoyed the porch and deck and nice dock. Our only regret was we didn’t book longer!!! Wish we had done a whole week.

This was our first trip to South Carolina! Jeff was very kind to give us a heads up about some pop up visitors! Before we arrived. The lake house was very clean! And such a perfect spot! Our kids enjoyed getting in the lake right away! We even made a day trip to folly beach about 3 hour drive but it was perfect! We had everything we needed right there! If your looking for a place for a perfect family vacation this is it! You get swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing everything you could want !

My best friend and I enjoyed a fantastic trip. The house is exactly what VRBO says it is. The furniture was comfy, and the screened porch was perfect and right on the lake (literally). We spent the entire week on that porch. We went out only once to enjoy dinner at Break on the Lake which was wonderful.
