This is the 2nd oldest train depot in the US. What incredible history just imagining what has taken place her over all these years. Although it has been fully renovated, we have preserved so much of its original charm. Check out the hand cut wood beams and brick chimney in the kitchen. The open concept kitchen and living room lets the whole family or group of friends spread out after a long day exploring the area. Watch your favorite shows or movies on the 55" TV in the living room. Downstairs has an oversized bedroom with a king size bed (top of the line Nectar mattress) and a walk-in closet with a desk. The life like electric fireplace will be a great treat in the colder months, but can be used without the heat mode for some nice ambiance. Sonos speaker located on the bookshelf to play your favorite music.
Walk upstairs and find a bedroom with a queen size bed (top of the line Nectar mattress) and a full bathroom with a tub.
The bathroom mirror has a built in vanity lighting. The lounge area upstairs has two sleeper sofas with memory foam mattresses and cable tv. There is also a queen size air mattress in the closet in upstairs bedroom. The loading dock is covered and has plenty of room to hang out with friends and family. Super quick walk to everything like the canal and downtown. Plenty of award winning restaurants, shops and bars.

We really enjoyed our stay in Frederick at the renovated train depot. The place was well appointed, decorated in a fun, but trendy train theme. Checkin and out was super easy and being located right by the canal park made walking around in the historic area super easy. Our host made some great eating recommendations. We had lunch at The Wine Kitchen and our meals were delicious! Highly recommend checking out that spot if you come for a visit.

Right in the heart of downtown Frederick, this place is a gem. Close to everything, convenient parking, and the check-in process was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Great place for one or two couples. The common areas weren’t really suitable for sleeping—the sofa that turns into a bed wasn’t comfortable as a sofa or a bed. The place was very clean. The first floor shower was really small (I think the door may have been put on backwards because it was difficult to get in and out). Convenient location. Lock on front door appeared damaged and you can hear the conversation from every passerby. The blinds didn’t offer much in the way of privacy. The place was cute

My family had a nice time at the train depot, the house is well spaced out and modern. It also has good location to the restaurants and breweries in downtown Frederick. The house is located right along the creek so it is quick to get to any places nearby. There are some homeless that are close by but they did not cause any issue besides one person that placed their belongings on the backside of the house where it says no trespassing. They left once they saw me come outside but there wasn’t any problems just something to be mindful since there is a parking garage right next to the house. The house is also very clean but there was some hair that we found at the head of bed and some small flies which was not a big deal but otherwise it was spotless. I am glad that I had the opportunity to stay at such a unique historic place and got to enjoy downtown Frederick with everything in walking distance!

We had a wonderful stay at the Train Depot. The location was phenomenal with everything downtown and along the canal within walking distance. The house had plenty of room and parking was perfect with an included pass to the garage which was right next door. Danny was extremely responsive and checked in with us once we arrived to make sure there were no issues. He was also spot-on with recommendations for places we should try. We will definitely return.

This place was extremely clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and most importantly, so close to many restaurants and the canal area! We are 2 retired couples who had a wonderful 2 days in Frederick! I wish we could have stayed longer! The location and uniqueness of this place was spectacular! Will definitely book again if we are back in this area! Do not hesitate to book this property!

This extremely well renovated historic site could not possibly be in a better location for exploring Frederick. Danny was very responsive and checking in and out were easy. Keep in mind it's an historic site at the intersection of two streets, half a block from the art center and a lovely bridge across the creek - all positives, but you do need to keep privacy in mind. Sort of like a condo at the beach right on the boardwalk. Regardless, we're already talking about this spot becoming our go-to in Frederick!

I rented this property for my nephew and his bride on their wedding weekend. It was perfect for them as a private hideaway in the middle of downtown. It was close to their wedding venue and all the shops and restaurants that historic downtown Frederick has to offer. It is a beautiful space and a real gem. The host, Danny is fabulous. Easy to communicate with and very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the train depot. Very comfortable, well stocked with everything we needed. Parked and walked everywhere we wanted to go. The Christmas lights on the boats on the canal were lovely. Will definitely stay there again if we go back. Thanks for providing a great place for a getaway.

My husband and two children had an amazing time staying at the Train Depot home! Danny the host was amazing and provided us with many great options for sites and delicious restaurants!! Frederick, MD is such a quaint town and we enjoyed our ability to walk to the restaurants for dinner while we were there!!
The Train Depot was immaculate and had great amenities. The host thought of everything a guest would need in his home!!

The host, Danny, aims to provide a 5 star experience, and he is definitely on target! The restoration of the historic train station is beautiful with high end finishes and amenities, providing a space to relax and unwind in luxurious comfort with a decor that gives a nod to the building’s origins. The property is centrally located within steps of downtown restaurants, breweries, distilleries, shops, and the beautiful Carroll Creek River Walk. You don’t need your car unless you want to visit some of the area’s many historic attractions, wineries, or parks. City parking is strictly enforced, but Danny provides a parking pass for one vehicle to the parking garage around the corner to offset the city’s regulations. Danny was responsive when we had a sticky front door lock situation and provided an immediate solution. He maintained an open communication throughout our stay and offered some suggestions for favorite places to appease your appetite and wet your whistle. We will be recommending this property to friends and family and hope to return in the future!

Perfect house for girlfriends getaway. Walking distance to everything. There is an open air music venue across the street, which can be loud, but it all ended before 10 pm. The house is pretty and spotless. The bed is super comfortable, I slept well and it was quiet all night. We enjoyed walking into town for dinner and strolling along the creek.

The Train Depot was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for our long weekend getaway. It is right in downtown Frederick, but out of the way enough that it was still quiet. We love walking towns, and this one was perfect! Lots of great little shops, restaurants, and wineries/breweries. It was so nice to walk along the canal and I imagine in late May it is beautiful with all of the flowers in bloom. We also love the history of the area and there are many places to visit for that. We didn’t have great weather, but it was still a very nice place to stay. The house has everything you can think of and was very comfortable. I would recommend the Train Depot for a couples getaway, girls weekend, or a small family vacation.
