Wonderful location - especially for experiencing Jacksonville. Comfortable, cozy and well stocked for a relaxing stay. Very nice that it is set back from the main road.
Thank you. Would book again in a heartbeat if we're in the area again!

Roomy and comfortable.Rained so no backyard time but my dog loved it!
We entertained our 2 friends from Jacksonville as if it were our home. Made dinners ,watched movies ( huge couch a plus!) and walked to shops. Peaceful and spacious.

This lil cottage was perfect for our mother-daughter getaway! The cottage itself is adorable and a perfect fit for 2-4 people. It is conveniently located from everything Jacksonville. We walked everywhere-to downtown, restaurants, stores…everywhere! The backyard, while we could not use it because of inclement weather, looked like a perfect gathering spot for outdoor fun. It has a fire pit, an eating bar, lots of seating and a really cute garden area. We will put family here or stay here again if the need arises when family is in town. ( Only negative note was the place was FULL of spider webs and spiders when we arrived and had lots of debris on the window sills. We cleaned up the spiders and webs using a spatula wrapped in paper towels and all was good.🕷️

Great location, quiet from road noise, gated parking, nicely decorated.
Amanda took care of us and arranged to have a problem resolved right away, even though it was thanksgiving. Good communication.

Very clean house! Backyard was so peaceful and nice in the little sun we got. It was a quiet location despite being near a busy road.
Here are the things we feel that should be repaired ~
1. The heating unit is very noisy when it turns on, but the heat is even.
2. There is a very loud continuous noise and screech when toilets are flushed. It sounds like a bearing in a pump under the house is going out. This coupled with the water backing up into the main bathroom toilet and kitchen sink when one wash was done in the washer. You could see the water bubbling up from the drains.
~ Serious lack of lighting. One small table lamp in the big living room, with a low wattage bulb. There are overhead lights, but they are very bright and not conducive to use in a living room. Unable to read or converse in the dark living room. No bedside lamp in main bedroom. There was a lamp on the floor of the closet but no bulb in it and none to be found. Lighting in both bathrooms was very dim ~ unable to see well to use either mirror.
~ large hole in the bottom of the shower with broken strainer in middle of shower in main bedroom. The drain is exposed and is a safety issue.

Host was communicative and accommodating. The house has enough space and ample outdoor areas for dogs to play and humans to relax.

Our first time in Jacksonville for the Britt Festival and how lucky were we to find Amanda's place. Beautiful home with a lovely backyard for us to enjoy on a warm summer night. Our dog, Shelby, enjoyed it too. It was within walking distance to the lovely town of Jacksonville and the Britt Festival.
We loved everything about this home, beautiful decor, comfortable living room, beds and functional kitchen. It was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this home if you are planning a stay in Jacksonville.

This beautiful cottage was a welcome oasis after Yosemite National park camping. It was perfectly clean, well decorated, and great location within the charming town of Jacksonville. My kids and I will try and stay here in the future whenever we are in the area.

We had a lovely 3-week stay here! It was cozy and comfortable and perfect. The property manager was responsive and very patient. The AC and the heat (both needed at various times during our stay!) worked perfectly. Laundry and dryer on site were very helpful. The property has a lovely garden. The only thing I would suggest is more comfortable outdoor seating. Within walking distance to Britt Pavilion, local hiking, close to Rays Food Place, and very close (driving distance) to local wineries. There is also a full kitchen (no dishwasher). We would love to stay there again next June!

This is a lovely place to stay, both inside and out. The size and accomodations perfectly suited the needs of two friends in town for a weekend of fun. The garden is beautiful and beckons you to spend time outside. We saved money preparing and eating some meals at the house & spent it shopping downtown. We each had our own bedroom and bath, which is always preferable. The house is located very close to downtown Jacksonville. This is really handy for sightseeing and getting to the Britt pavillion for a concert. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

I wish I could post pictures of the yard in bloom! It was covered in blooming iris with neat walking paths between garden beds. Lovely little fire pit and BBQ/bar area outback.Clean and comfy cottage style inside with adorable decor. Check-in/ Check-out was simple and easy to understand. It was perfect for a little gals wine getaway for a 40th birthday! Thank you for providing such a lovely and comfy place to stay.

This lovely home exceeded our expectations. It is perfectly situated in Jacksonville to be able to walk around, but also feels like a private retreat. We plan to return!

The cottage is absolutely perfect, location couldn’t be better for downtown walking and still tucked away for some tranquil privacy. Amanda was/is available for any need and for kind words I needed to hear knowing my stay was for difficult reasons but gave me the confidence and empathy I needed. I will always stay at this cottage for all my visits with family. My dog was in absolute heaven, the garden/yard with the cutest back lil patio made for great starts to our days there - highly recommend!

We rented this house to visit Jacksonville for the Victorian Christmas. Lovely home conveniently located for everything in Jacksonville. very comfortable. Will definitely consider renting again if we come over for anything.

We made the cottage work for our visit. However, we wish we had been warned about a number of nuances about the property--then we would have looked and booked somewhere else. (1) how little water pressure the sinks and shower had; (2) how high the main bed was [great for someone tall]; (3) how stiff the couch was--not great for lieing down and watching a movie {and the fact that it separated didn't help either}; (4) despite it being advertised as "pet friendly", the gate to the street has a 2 feet gap, so we couldn't leave our dog off the leash to wander unattended {and it didn't look company friendly?}. It also would have also helped to know there wasn't a large knife, potato masher, and extra oven gloves {things we could have brought from home}. Biggest miss? The 2" gap from the living room from the dining room that WASN'T marked (thank gawd for finding painter's tape). Like I said, we made it work, still had our Thanksgiving dinner, and time together, but it wasn't as relaxing as it could have been. I would chose Jacksonville as a vacation destination again--just not this cottage.

The cottage is absolutely lovely with all the amenities you could wish for. Lovely comfy beds. The location is great as short walk to the breakfast at Pony Express and less than a mile to the downtown area. Wonderful backyard that our doggie enjoyed roaming. Will certainly come back to stay on our next road trip!

The cottage and garden are both well cared for and a pleasure to experience. The beauty and creativity of the garden setting allowed us to relax and rest. Because of the close location to downtown Jacksonville, we walked into town each night for dinner. The cottage is also a great starting point for wine tasting on the Applegate Trail.

The cottage was a perfect gathering place for rest and relaxation between day trips. It was especially nice to sit outside in the cool mornings and enjoy the backyard/garden. We were able to walk to the Britt festival and avoid the parking congestion..... a big plus👍

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was quaint and relaxing. It’s tucked away off the street, so it’s very private. It had everything we needed. The details were thoughtful and so cute. Also a great location for a stroll to downtown Jacksonville. We will definitely stay here again.

Sweet cottage & yard in great location
Went to Jacksonville with wife and daughter and 2 pups. We all loved our stay. The dogs loved the huge fenced in yard and we humans loved the cottage. The kitchen is totally functional, super comfortable living room, great laundry space, awesome back porch for eating and relaxing. The air conditioner works well, so nice to get breaks from the heat. Amanda has made nice little touches that made us feel welcome. Very clean. We highly recommend staying here in this hidden Jacksonville gem!

The property was as advertised. Clean, comfortable, well equipped. We loved the outdoor space but wished there were more chairs! It was set back and quiet with coffee, groceries and restaurants close-by or a well equipped kitchen to cook in. We would stay again!
