Just as you step out the front door, you are greeted by paragliders launching from one of the nation's premier flight schools. Guests can also enjoy a short walk to the famous Arroyo Burro Beach, or the adjacent Douglas Family Preserve. The off-leash beach and trails are fantastic fun for your canine family member, should they be traveling with you for your vacation. The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an inviting living area. There is a plus one, multifunction room near the dining and living room that can be used as office space, a children's area, or with the available sleeper sofa, another bedroom for one person. We stayed here with our two grown children and their partners over a long July 4th weekend. You can walk to the dog beach and it is about 12 minutes into Santa Barbara town. The beds were comfy and the kitchen incredibly well stocked. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub were much enjoyed.

We stayed here with family for UCSB graduation weekend. This is a great home in a nice residential neighborhood near the beach. The unit was incredibly clean and in perfect condition. The jacuzzi and gas grill were added bonuses. The kitchen is well appointed with pretty much everything anyone could need. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time at this property. It was well stocked with everything you need to enjoy SB and this home. Hendry’s beach was a fun easy walk and the restaurant there has yummy food! We also loved walking in the preserve. Beautiful vistas from there enjoy and lots of dogs. The hot tub was nice to come back to and the kitchen had everything we needed. The store is an easy drive from the house for anything you could need. It was great that our two teens got their own rooms (comfy beds) and we enjoyed playing board games that were there. Would love to stay again when we are back in SB!

This house was perfect for our Santa Barbara visit. Great space. Well appointed. Wonderful location. We took many wonderful walks down to the beach and on the nearby new path.

We rented as 4 adults and 2 young children. This property completely met our expectations. It was very clean, check-in was a breeze and the property was spacious and comfortable. Even though our stay was in February, we were able to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor patios. The outdoor fireplace and patio heater made for a comfortable dinner an evening when temps cooperated. The mattresses were very comfortable; something very important to us fir our two week stay. The kitchen is adequately equipped for meal preparation. It is very well equipped for making and serving cocktails and appetizers.🙂 There are no dishes or utensils for children nor pack in play available so plan to bring your own. One of the absolute best features of this property is location. This quiet dead end is less than two blocks from Hendry’s Beach which is popular for dog walkers and lovely for walking and beautiful sunsets. There is a restaurant right on the beach. (There are those who sunbathe there but it is not the best SB has to offer.) There are trails for walking 1 block in either direction from the house and the property is an easy walk or VERY quick drive to Elings Park and its many trails. Any SB restaurant or shopping venture is no more than 10-12 minutes. Wi-fi was excellent. There are four large TVs although we never turned them on in beautiful SB. We will absolutely not hesitate to rent this property again when visiting along with additional family members.

This property is very pleasant, great location near beach and parks. The property manager at Santa Barbara Vacation Rentals was not helpful at all. I would not rent from this company again.

We had a great stay at the property. It is as described and probably one of the cleanest properties we've stayed at. Fantastic location and SBVR was a great to work with.

This was a great house just up the street (a short walk) from Hendrys Boathouse and the beach. Just a 7min drive from all of the downtown chaos etc but nice that the grocery and whatever needs you might want are nearby. We would definitely come back. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood.

Loved staying at Campanil. Property Is super cute and had plenty of space.
Location is amazing. Within walking distance to beach, hiking and biking trials. Short drive to downtown and major attractions in SB.
Would absolutely stay again!!

This property worked out very nicely for my family of four. The location is fantastic, as it is close to everything (including Arroyo Burro Beach and Boathouse at Hendry’s Beach, both a 10-minute walk). The home is older which comes with a few minor drawbacks (floor creaks, no AC) , but the neighborhood is peaceful and the home is clean and charming. It has everything you might need. Overall we recommend this property and would stay here again in the future.

Lovely, comfortable home in a convenient location
We loved staying in this home. It fit our purposes perfectly. Great to be within walking distance of the beach. Easy drive to downtown Santa Barbara. The outside space was very nice. Very comfortable furnishings. Kitchen was very well stocked. Impeccably clean. We would absolutely choose this place again.

A Gem in Santa Barbara!
We fell in love with Santa Barbara and this house! The space is cozy and clean. The back yard is private and secure. We loved and used both the inside and outdoor fireplaces. Being able to walk to the beach and the BoatHouse was an added plus. We will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Outstanding Time !
While in Santa Barbara for a wedding, a party of 8 stayed in this unbelievable property. Clean, fun, and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach, and restaurants- we could have not asked for anything better! If we are ever back on the west coast- this property is a must!

Pros:
- Very comfortable beds! I often have a hard time sleeping away from home, but slept great all 3 nights we were here.
- There was a fold-out couch that we weren't expecting, so my two younger kids were thrilled to have their own beds.
- Very clean house and conveniently located. It was even closer to the beach than I 'd realized.
Cons:
- The wood floors in this home are sooooo squeaky! No matter where you try to step, they are exceptionally loud. It was really only an issue when you were trying to avoid waking anyone. There was absolutely no way to walk about quietly.
- The oven didn't work. This is a short-term con and likely to be resolved, but I'm mentioning it anyway. We didn't discover it until late on Saturday night, when we were intending to warm up leftover pizza for dinner. I realized there was no way reach management over the weekend to have it resolved, so we just used the microwave. Sadly, we had to endure soggy pizza but did survive the ordeal.
- There were plenty of paper towels and toilet paper and the kitchen was fully stocked. I was surprised at the lack of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. I'll admit this is the only the second home we've rented thru VRBO, so perhaps that's the norm, but the first we rented did supply those things so I hadn't packed them. Luckily, Rite Aid was just down the street.
It really is a nice place and made for a great weekend getaway for my family of 5.
