About this house rental

We are 5-7 minutes from downtown Eufaula, but secluded enough to make you feel like no one else is around. There is lots of parking for your family and friends, as well as truck and trailers for those that bring their water toys. There is a 30amp RV hookup and kayaks for your use. Enjoy swimming at the private, 2 slip, boat dock or just fishing and taking in the beauty of Lake Eufaula. In the mornings you can sit outside on one of the 2 covered porch areas and enjoy your coffee, while listening to nature that surrounds this home. The back of the home offers a large upper deck that overlooks the property or the covered porch to sit and listen to the rain. Bring the smores, fishing poles, and laughs and enjoy your stay with us!

The home was spacious, clean and beautiful. There were plenty of linens and tableware. Our group used all 6 bedrooms and the house did not feel crowded. The private dock was well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. So spacious and plenty of room/beds for our group of 10 adults and three children. Access to beach and boat dock. Lots of chairs on the balcony to sit and watch the stars. A/C worked very well and we had everything we needed for our stay. We are already talking about coming back. Thank you !

Overall our stay here was really nice. We did have issues with the AC, but our property manager was accessible and quick to help us get the issue resolved. Tons of room and lots of beds to accommodate 12+ people.

There was plenty of room for 10 adults. Loved having all the bathrooms. We spent a lot if time on both decks. We had some rain one day and enjoyed the covered lower one during the rain. One of my favorite things about the house was the big round dining table which all ten of could sit around and play games together. My only complaint was I wished there were fewer trees blocking the view of the lake. We couldn’t swim at the house as there was no ladder on the dock. We rented a boat and loved having the dock for that. All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely go there again.

For our family of 10 adults and four children, plus a newborn, this house made for a perfect family retreat house. Each set of adults had their own bedroom and the children made the sixth bedroom their own. Everyone especially enjoyed the large kitchen (it was Thanksgiving!), large gathering room for conversations, large dining room and table with room for all 10 adults, fooseball table, access to (and view of) the lake, and a woods to tromp around in. Really appreciated the hostess' gift basket when we walked through the door. Recommend for any group or family needing up to 6 bedrooms in an out of the way environment.

Nice home for our Thanksgiving family reunion of 13 teens and adults - Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have privacy. Two living areas, a game room and nice outdoor patios and fire pit area. The lake was extremely low and it was COLD so We didn't utilize the boat dock. (iWe ve been here before in August 2020 and had a blast swimming, fishing, Kayaking and paddleboarding !) A feW hiccups like the coffee pot didn't work (but there was a K-cup Pot), had a little trouble keeping the sliding door on track Opening and closing, front door was hard to open and the lighting is very ambient all over the house which is a bit difficult for some of us who have visual difficultieS. A fear O other hiccups with garbage disposal locating items we discovered Were not plugged in but our family handymen figured them out. All in all, a super place to stay lakefront for a large group.

Great location for our large group of adult friends. Had an issue with the ac unit on Saturday night and they had a repairman on site Sunday morning. Host was a great communicator. Property is better than the pics however the waterfront is a bit of a hike.

This property was perfect for us! It’s hard to find a place that fits what we want and this place had it all!!! 6 king size bedrooms ✅ lots of bathrooms✅ a Dock ✅ That’s a win on our book! Our only complaint is that they didn’t have a full set of measuring cups or teaspoons but that’s an easy fix. We did have to clean the oven due to the fact when we turned it on, it started smoking but that was only because there was grease in the bottom of it. We got it cleaned up and had no other problems. Communication with owners was very fast! I would definitely book this place again!

The house was awesome slept 13 without any problem. Was clean and had plenty of restrooms. The only issue was when we arrived we couldn’t get into the house because they had given us the wrong key code and the property manager took a while to get back to us. Things you do need to know is bring your own trash bags, toilet paper, spices, and laundry detergent if you choose to do laundry while you’re there. And the icemaker does not work and has not worked for years as I read in the previous reviews. So bring your own ice!! Other than those few inconveniences, the house had three different living areas and was close to the water, it was an awesome weekend. Would stay there again.

Our families enjoyed the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms which accommodated our needs especially with children. We’d suggest adding another pontoon to float the beginning of the floating walkway to the dock as it was under water because of the higher lake level. All in all a wonderful stay and a great place for more than 1 family.

Rental was easy online, house was easy to find, everyone enjoyed the house. I think anyone that rents The Blue Heron Hideout will be very satisfied. The price is reasonable and the house is great for a family group or even friends. Plenty of comfortable king beds, towels, and clean linen. The kitchen was very easy to use from the undercounter microwave to the oven. The house dishes and silverware are well supplied for large groups. All 3 living areas have comfortable couches and seating with tvs. I did miss having a tv in my bedroom as the only bedroom tv was in the master bedroom and that we gave to my mother of 93 years old. We visited the local casino, enjoyed visiting Robers cave to let the kids wear off some of their excitement and energy. Memories were made, thank you for sharing. Beautiful property.
