Welcome to Condo # 4 at Tybee Retreat! Tybee Retreat's idyllic location one block from the beach and within walking distance to south end restaurants and bars makes for the perfect beach get-a-way!
Tybee Retreat offers an open concept living space that is comfortably furnished so that our guests can enjoy a family meal, game time or just watching TV together on the flat screen TV. It also offers an extremely spacious living area upstairs with an over sized flat screen TV perfect for the nights in or family movie complete with wet bar and mini-fridge.
The kitchen has been outfitted with all stainless appliances. The kitchen is fully equipped for entertaining and the dishwasher and granite countertops make for easy clean-up.
Both upstairs and downstairs are comfortably furnished living spaces which give way to the large covered patios (yes, one on each level!) that features a teak tables and chairs perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze in any weather.
1st level:
Bedroom 1: king bed, flat-screen TV, and an attached ensuite private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2: king sized bed, flat screen TV with bedroom access to the shower/tub combo bathroom.
2nd Level
Bedroom 3: two queen sized beds, a flat screen TV and attached private bathroom with a walk in shower.
Bedroom 4: two double beds, a flat screen TV with a bathroom equipped with a shower/tub combo.
There is also a laundry room with a full sized washing machine and dryer hallway.
Getting Around:
You won't have to drive anywhere, simply park for free and go and enjoy the beach, bars, shops, and restaurants the island has to offer. Tybee Retreat has a total of four condo units, each having covered ground level parking for two vehicles. Please note over-sized trucks and SUV's may not fit under this covered parking area.
Other Things to Note:
Since we consider Tybee Retreat to be a family friendly property and we know Pets are just as much family as our own children, Pets are permitted with approval and additional pet fees (maximum of 2 dogs, Cats are not permitted). A pet deposit of $35 per pet per night is required.
In the garage guests have access to beach carts, umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and sand toys (on a first come first serve bases).
High-speed WIFI is available throughout the property.

We come every year before school starts back for a family vacation. We stayed in unit 4 and it was a beautiful property. It has plenty of room and the large table in kitchen made lunch time very enjoyable.

We loved that this unit basically had two separate living areas giving our adult children privacy as well as our own space. We love the location and proximity to the beach and restaurants we love. Our main reason for choosing this unit was that it is pet friendly! Code didn’t work at check in but they were super quick to fix it!

We loved everything about this place. We had 2 people who are disabled with us but the condo has an elevator so they had no issues. Our on site property manager was Jordan and she was amazing. So sweet and accommodating in every way possible. The condo is also so close to everything we wanted to go to! We cannot wait to stay here again!

This property was perfect for us. We had never spent time on south beach before and I really liked it. The house was a short, easy walk from either 17th or 18th street beach access. There were plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. Layout was awesome for our group. Kids could use the upper common space while adults socialized in the lower one. Loved that we could use the beach gear left behind by previous guests. The only complaint was that the upstairs couches were not terribly comfortable. Otherwise stellar property!

We had such a wonderful stay! The condo was close to the beach. We had 6 adults and 4 kids in the house and it was plenty of room! The upstairs had another living area which was perfect for the kids. It was clean and the host was very responsive and welcoming. We will definitely try to stay here again.

The house was very spacious, clean, and well stocked. The beds were all very comfortable, with the exception of the "futon" that was actually a broken and unusable pull out couch bed. Thankfully we had an air mattress so it wasnt a huge deal for us, but definitely needs to be replaced. Overall we had a wonderful time, and would absolutely stay here again!

The property is very spacious and close to shopping and the beach. We put the teens and younger child upstairs to have their own space and we had our quiet space on the main floor.

We were in town for a family wedding & had family from 1 to 87 staying at this condo. The condo is nicely decorated and well stocked. The number of beds made it perfect for us, and all of them were comfy. Definitely recommend.

Needs new pots and pans, sofas upstairs needs replacing, ice maker upstairs does not work. The shower upstairs needs replacing. We did enjoy our stay lots of room in the condo for a family and friends

We met the owner as soon as we arrived and received a very warm welcome. She supplied us with everything we needed and the condo itself was perfect for our group. Would definitely recommend!

The property was the perfect layout for us. The older adults downstairs and the teenagers had their own area upstairs. As mentioned in previous reviews, the condo is roomier than it appears in pictures and an easy walk to the beach. Great location on island with walking to food and shopping.

We stayed in the unit with two floors which was very spacious. However, the place was not cleaned very well. There were fruit flies when we arrived and also the whole time we were there even though we took out the trash several times. There was an odor throughout. Some of the furniture should be replaced since the cushions completely sunk in once you sat on it. Overall, it was what we expected. Definitely can't beat the convenience since it's minutes within walking to the beach.

This condo was perfect for our group celebrating graduation. The location was conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. We all loved it and would definitely come back again! The owners were super helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I, along with 14 other classmates, celebrated our 50th nursing school anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at side by side condos that were clean, spacious, comfortable and had plenty of sleeping space. It was the perfect set up for our group.

Nice space for everyone to be together. Two decks for enjoying the weather. Needed a few more supplies. Needs a toaster. Lacked in enough toilet paper and dishwasher pods for the weekend. Those were our only observations. Perfect pet friendly place!! Other dogs in the building and surrounding buildings barked alot, so if you don't like dogs, be cautious.

We loved the large, comfortable layout and the proximity to the beach. We were able to have a 3-family Thanksgiving reunion and we all agreed it was perfect!

Overall, as expected. Plenty of room for our group. Carpet is stained and in need of a good cleaning. Sliding glass doors to deck are very difficult to operate or lock. Bathroom linens need to be upgraded - also had to request enough for our group - and that was taken care of very quickly. Also, a broom would be a good addition. Good place for large group - owner available and accommodating.

The bedrooms were bigger than expected and the bathrooms were perfect. I wish we had more supplies like trash bags and paper towels but overall everything was great.
**Note - the beds were very soft and this isn't a problem but I prefer a firm bed. If you're like me keep this in mind when booking**

Just a short walk to the beach. Great for a larger group. The only negative I would say was kitchen needed a bit more supplies for our larger group and some kitchen items were put away dirty from previous group. Owner was extremely helpful and nice. We would definitely stay here again

Great Place
We rented units 3 and 4 and both were prefect for our family gathering and birthday celebration. Upon arrival we were delighted by the size of rooms and kitchens were well supplied with everything needed for meal preparations and serving for our large group.

This property was a great place to stay. There is enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the 2 outdoor decks. It's almost like having 2 places in 1 rental. Great location and just a block away from the beach and other activities/restaurants.

Amazing location, great communication
This gem is right next to the beach, beautiful property. It’s above another residence, so you have to make sure to keep it quiet, but a wonderful place to stay with friends. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay here again.

The Unit was bigger and had more amenities than we expected. It was four bedrooms and four baths. Large living areas and lots of pots and pans. We always cook the turkey, mashed potatoes, noodles, green bean casserole, stuffing, gravy, rolls, pies. Even had lots of containers for leftovers. We easily walked to dinner and the beach and shopping. Only problem was the neighbors were spray painting their house, so we moved the back two cars. That shouldn't happen often. Loved it and loved Tybee.
