My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks to enjoy the cooler weather in the mountains. We were really comfortable and had everything we needed. We took a lot of walks in the neighborhood and enjoyed walking around Osceola Lake.

Good place for the price!

Very nice cabin. Walkway is a bit treacherous and definitely not handicapped accessible, but manageable. Very cute and clean inside. Beds are very comfortable. Could use a couple more comfortable chairs in the living room. Overall very nice. Had a great stay!

Cottage was most enjoyable, close to town, and would recommend staying here. However, emphasis should be specified that the incline and rocky entrances are not easy for anyone with balance or walking disabilities.

Coming “home” to the log cabin was a perfect way to end a cold day of fly fishing. It was cozy and warmed up well with the wood burning stove. The owner was immediately attentive to our needs. A great place to stay for a fly fishing weekend in the Pisgah, Brevard and Mills River and close to Hendersonville for a night out.

Great house, close to all action. I might suggest that it be more clearly labeled and visible to find. Was difficult to find in the dark. Otherwise great!

Great getaway place! Great location and the hideaway was cozy and spacious.

Inside the cabin very nice. Outside dangerous to get in and out. Unsteady rock path with no handrails for safety. One couch but no chairs except for kitchen table chairs. The two bedrooms with bathrooms connected were great but hide a bed in the couch would only be suitable for a child. All in all a nice place. Just not for seniors or anyone with a disability.

Cozy cottage. Had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway with friends. Conveniently located to area attractions in quiet setting.

Property is near a large lake for walking, downtown for dining and entertainment and near Blue Ridge Parkway and DuPont forest for waterfalls and hiking

A great little cabin that is centrally located to many of the local attractions. The owners were great to work with and responded quickly to my questions. Highly recommend for a family or a couples weekend getaway.

Place was really nice ran into issues with the water pressure. We also had an alarm go off during our stay which may have been a CO2 sensor.
However all an all a really nice place in the mountains right near DuPont and Pisgah if you are looking for a central point for a mountain biking trip.

It was a very cozy little place. It was tucked back in Hendersonville (which is a very nice little town) in a quiet neighborhood. The only complaints we had was there is no back porch light, but rather a flood light on the side of the house, and the shower liner looked like it needed to be replaced.Other than that it was very nice. There was dog treats and doodie bags provided for pets and a gas grill and stove, coffee and a list of recommended activities, restaurants and pubs for the people! Overall a great place to stay!

Hendersonville was really cool, close to mountains and Asheville, good horse riding at rusty spur, outstanding Resteraunts , make sure to go to new Indian aroma, and flat rock bbq

We did not enjoy our stay at this property. We knew this was an older home, but it was more rustic than depicted. The walkway from the parking area is uphill and uneven, with steps and stones that are loose and some with slick growth on them. Definitely not safe if you have any mobility issues. There is no live TV, only streaming from sources like Netflix and Hulu (which was logged out), so no morning news and weather with your coffee. We had multiple issues with the WiFi service and the TV remote did not work because the batteries were so corroded. The porch and deck area was dirty and littered with branches, leaves and toppled over flower pots, nothing like what the listing photos show. We had issues with the main bath sink not draining properly, the toilet flapper sticking and causing the toilet to constantly run, and the shower head was awful. The inside of the medicine cabinet was nasty. You could only use one water source at a time because of low water pressure. The heat source was portable, plug in heaters in the bedrooms. A/C is from window units. The windows are filthy and need a good cleaning. The location/neighborhood was not bad, except for a neighbor’s dog that barked continuously day and night, which caused several nights of interrupted sleep. The beds and linens were nice and there was plenty of hot water. The washer/dryer was new, but the laundry room was rough and the steps leading to the side door were steep with no railing. It’s a no for us.

Easy to find, close to the points of interests we wanted to see. Cabin was well stocked in the kitchen, better than I have ever seen. Sharp knives, cutting boards, pot and pans in great condition. Bedrooms big and beds comfort. Bathrooms pristine, and well supplied beyond the normal.
We did not have an opportunity to grill or enjoy the deck. We would highly recommend this property for any excursions in the mountains.

My friends and I had a great time exploring Hendersonville! A bunch of cute shops and places to eat. Arabella was a great spot for breakfast and Shine was our favorite dinner spot. The house is cute and clean and matches the listing shown. Beds were comfy and the space was great for our group of 4.

We came to NC to see the Biltmore. We enjoyed our stay on this property. A cute house that is close to so much. The beds were so comfortable.!! Loved the view of the mountains. It is a dog friendly home. We may bring our dog next time.

Sweet log cabin close to restaurants. Comfortable beds, good towels, well stocked kitchen. Pretty lot. Good communication with host. Plenty of hot water and functional space heater warmed the whole house on a cold weekend. My husband and I both over 80 had to be cautious on stairs into the cabin from parking so not good for people with physical challenges. One thing I would have liked is a lamp in living room for better light for reading at night on the living room sofa.

The home was clean, comfortable, centrally located to many activities, and thoughtfully outfitted down to snacks and coffee creamer in the kitchen, extra toiletries in the bathrooms, laundry soap in the wash room, and a throw blanket on the sofa. The beds were comfortable (great quality and soft sheets!), everything was clean and in good shape; nothing was worn or out of care. Great communication and accommodation from the owner when VRBO created a small check-in snag and my husband forgot an important item after checkout. Overall a nice stay and we will remember this sweet home for our next visit!

This cabin was just what we were looking for in a quick weekend away. The owners though of everything you may need from Q-tips to dog treats! We enjoyed grilling out back on the spacious deck and the quietness of the neighborhood. Quick drive into downtown Hendersonville or even to DuPont State Park for hiking. Highly recommend this cabin. Pictures and details provided are accurate.

Beautiful log cabin convenient location
We loved our long weekend away and the cabin was beautiful inside and out Located in a semi rural community, this held everything we needed for an enjoyable respite It was close enough to Hendersonville and Flat Rock to enjoy shopping,
nice food places and beautiful views all around A great little farm stand is just down the road with a delightful array of food trucks too From
Fresh veggies to beautiful flowers and locally sourced meat Johnson’s Family Farms was a special delight. We enjoy thrifting and found some great places in both Flatrock and Hendersonville Not to mention the fun Mexican place we celebrated my husbands Birthday Pappa’s and Beer And for a Friday night seafood or steak choice you always have two reliables Binions Steakhouse and Bay Breeze Seafood And their are countless eateries through downtown and don’t miss the fresh made ice cream at Celtic Creamery WNC Try the various flreshly made flavors you won’t come away disappointed We enjoyed the Butter Pecan and a scrumptious Strawberry A trip to The Mast General Store is always on our list of things we enjoy They have delightful coffee places and a nice pub along the downtown area And don’t miss Hendersonville Co-op Farmers Market on Thursday through Saturday Locally sourced veggies fruits and crafts abound as well as plants
and returning “home” to grill steaks or salmon was a plus too And being able to do laundry before our trip back was an added convenience after a few short trails
We hope to return to this treasure we’ve found through the coming years ahead

Cozy Getaway!
My family had a wonderful stay! Centrally located, to downtown Hendersonville, and a short drive to Brevard; it was the perfect place to use as a base camp for a great time in the mountains. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay this is it!

30min from everywhere!
A little hiccup at the start with not getting the lock code through the app but the owner was very quick to respond and we got access in no time at all. No issues after that. Very convenient location. 30min from nearly every bigger attraction in the area and a short 5min drive into town with great spots for good food and brews. The place was very clean with all the amenities we needed. Will definitely stay again.

Cozy getaway spot!
We had such a great experience staying here! It was a cozy stay for two couples. Very close to both the town and hiking destinations. We loved the fire pit out back! They also had cards and some board games for our rainy day in. Definitely recommend staying here!
