About this house rental

This home is a recently remodeled older home with 2 fireplaces (non-operational). One in LR and one in family room in basement. One of the bedrooms is utilized as an office (with printer). The eat-in kitchen is modern with a coffee station.

There is a large FR (with a game table & coffee station), plus LR which provides separate spaces for your 'down time'.

There are sectionals in both the LR and the Family Room with smart televisions in both also.

There is a ring doorbell at the front door.

A real gem. You will not regret your stay. Great location. Near food and shopping but out of the way in a quiet neighborhood right off one of the main streets in town. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Bedrooms are cozy. I didn’t use the home office, but there’s one there for those who need it. It even has a finished basement that’s perfect for the kids to play and be out of the way. Stay here! You will not regret it!

Beautiful, newly renovated, spacious, and so comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We rested well. It felt like home, away from home, exactly what we were looking for. Everything was as listed and then some as far as amenities provided. We would like to make this property our go-to rental whenever we visit Springfield. And, Lucille is a wonderful host. Her suggestions were great as we toured Springfield. Very happy renters.

Spotless, super easy communication with host, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay next time I am in Springfield!!! Great location, it was nice to be able to use the garage to park the car each nite. It was beyond fantastic! Thanks so much!

This house was the perfect location for us. The kitchen had every appliance, gadget, dish and pots and pan assortment you could ever need. Plenty of towels and linens and other bathroom essentials. The garage was a big plus for us too. Overall, the house was perfectly adequate for our stay and saved us a lot of money by not having to stay in a hotel/motel. Good value!

Lucy's house was perfect for our stay in Springfield. In a nice, quiet neighborhood. Very nicely decorated. Comfortable beds, ample towels. Having a garage available was also great. I would highly recommend this house and would definitely stay again!

It was a joy staying here. The property was just as described. Clean quiet and most important safe neighborhood!! My grandson enjoyed the lower level family room. Plenty of room to play. Lucile was awesome and a pleasure to communicate with. The attention to detail for guest can be seen through out the rental. Would definitely stay again and if in the area so should you you wouldn't be disappointed 😉

The property was just as shown in the pictures. All of the furniture and kitchen stuff was in great shape. The neighborhood was lovely and the home was very close to Washington Park, a grocery store and shopping. I would be happy to stay here again for future visits to Springfield.

My husband and I loved this property the first time we stayed here, so we came back with our adult kids and grandbaby. The house allowed us to all be together during a family wedding. Everything was there that we needed to prepare breakfasts and lunches before we headed out to evening events. Our grandson enjoyed the toys there and crawling around the comfortable carpeted basement. They provided a pack n play, high chair, jumper, and infant bath so we didnt have to bring as much for the trip. Lucy sent us some helpful tips for our stay with a baby by email, which we appreciated. The neighborhood is nice for strolls and we took advantage of the patio as well. The house was neat and clean and we all enjoyed our stay. We will be back!!

I'm from Spfld, and my family is still there. When I come home, I like to stay in rentals vs a hotel. Ten years ago there weren't many rentals available. This is the first that had a great location, and small details that I appreciate. The home is described perfectly, but you can't appreciate the decor and small details that Lucille provides. The location: Super close to the mall, grocery stores and famous restaurants. The house: The kitchen has all of necessary supplies to cook anything. (and drink) The couches and beds are super comfortable, my husband stayed on the sectional all day watching football. Plenty of throws, pillows, and towels to make life easy. I travel with nightlights, this is the first place I've ever stayed at that has them everywhere! The home has a large fenced in back yard, and garage. I honestly couldn't ask for anything else, easy peezy!

Very nice updated home in a really nice neighborhood.! We were visiting family in town and the location was perfect. Perfect spot for four adults with room to spare. Nicely stocked kitchen. Will definitely check availability for this location next time we plan a visit. Everything was great!

We were two couples staying for three nights. We all agreed it had everything we needed and then some. Great quiet and safe neighborhood close to everything. beautifully remodeled house, great beds, nice plushy towels, plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen, etc plus it had a garage too! The host responded quickly to questions. You won’t be disappointed in staying here.

We were extremely pleased with this property! The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood which allowed easy access to most places in Springfield. There were nice little touches to make guests comfortable. We didnt cook much so cant comment on that aspect of the house, but the kitchen was nicely decorated and appeared to have essential items. We were wishing that we had traveled with our whole family bc the property would have been a pleasant place to share some family time. Since we have family in the area we look forward to returning to this property many times in the future!

The house was clean and comfortable . It was a good base to see Springfield and travel parts of Route 66. The grocery store is close and we enjoyed cooking our own meals in the morning and night. We also appreciated having the ability to do laundry.

Overall we had a great stay. The house is clean, super cute and great since we had a little one. They had everything we needed even a pack n play, one less thing to pack. Location is central to everything we needed to get to. Definitely will keep this place in mind next time we visit family.
