We enjoyed our stay at Margarita-ville! We’ve stayed on both sides of the island, so this year we tried the mid point. It was a little difficult navigating the traffic, but no major road to cross to get to the beach. The lanai was sizable with a decent pool and hot tub! So when you want out of the beach sun, it was a perfect way to cool down. The house was clean. I was happy to see the kitchen stocked with enough dishes and pots and pans. A crockpot:) We did our best to keep the pool clean throughout our stay. For a company coming out twice a week, I feel at least one of the visits would require a vacuuming, due to the amount of mulch and vegetation that finds its way in with daily use. We did our best to keep the filters clean and skimmed daily. Overall, we all had a wonderful week and look forward to our annual return!

Short & easy walk to the beach!
The beach distance was was the highlight of this property. With golf cart rentals we were able to get to Publix, Bridge St, and to the shops on the north end of the island. This property was not within walking short distance of any of those things otherwise. Service with Verizon data and/or WiFi was extremely slow here. The home was very “used” with stains on every wall, blemishes on every piece of bedroom furniture, every toilet seat was marked up or stained, and the pool table room was too musty to hang out in. There was an alarm on the door to the pool that was so loud we couldn’t use that door. It was at ear level and even with an all adult party the owner would not let us remove the battery. The upper door battery was already removed Thank God. There was a storm before we arrived on Saturday and I received notification to please be patient as they would get to the cleaning of the pool Monday, but if we wanted to clean it we could use the net and that is what we did. (Pool company does not work on weekends). We then realized the heater in the pool and the hot tub were not working. I contacted the office and they said they had no one to fix it until Monday. I asked again Monday and they said the maintenance guy stopped yesterday (Sunday) & was unable to locate an issue. I told them the same issue still existed. Come Tuesday, still no sign of anyone with a cold pool & hot tub. When I asked they were certain he would be there that day. Needless to say, I called multiple times Tuesday & Wednesday asking to speak with a Supervisor only to be told she would return my call and that never happened. They offered us a pass to a hotel pool for the day & if we wanted to be in a public pool we would have stayed at a hotel for much less money, therefore I declined. Late Wednesday the pool guy shows up and backwashed the pool and everything worked fine after. The pump was in a locked facility or we could have done that ourselves. I understand storms and staffing issues, but the service was not efficient or professional with AMI in comparison to all others we have used. Post storm weekends should be staffed when paying high rates for these properties. I did request compensation after leaving and they agreed to a quarter of what I asked for. Sounds of water dripping or pipes expanding all night long in at least two bedrooms provided sleepless nights. We loved Anna Maria otherwise & will return to the island with a different company.

Little Things matter, but great stay
The property is in a great location, you can walk to the beach and to walk into town for meals. There is a Publix near by as well. The house was large, mostly clean and very comfortable for the group of 12. The reason I gave it 4 stars on cleanliness has to do with the tile floors and dishes/silverware. The cleaners must just sweep the sand off the floor because after walking downstairs in my socks they were completely black. The bathroom towels are nice, the beach towels/chairs are nice, however they can upgrade the toys. The pool table is completely torn and it smells like mildew in the room it is in, there are no boogie boards or umbrellas to use either. My biggest issue has to deal with the kitchen supplies. There is not enough silverware for eating, there are not enough coffee cups, they give you basically nothing in terms of supplies, and the cooking utensils are cheap and disgusting. Additionally, the blender did not work and the pots and pans were in very bad shape. When you have large groups like this it is important to be able to cook as it was practically impossible to get into a restaurant unless you go at 3:30. They should also provide more then 1 roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, more than one tiny beach towel, and more then one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Additionally, some basic supplies like salt n pepper would be nice, coffee filters, sponges for the sink, and dishwashing soap. You are paying top dollar for this house and it is quite surprising how the little things can matter. I would suggest you take $500 and go to Target and upgrade all the silverware, plates, cooking utensils and cups - don't buy the cheap stuff because you get what you pay for. Also invest $25 for some additional supplies. I absolutely loved the home and the location, but sometimes the little things can make the trip an A+

Spacious home with pool near the gulf
The home was very spacious to accommodate our party of 11 people. Loved that it was an easy walk to the gulf beach and close to the Holmes Beach site with food and a gift store. We used the trolley a lot. There were a few house keeping issues that maintenance took care of pretty quickly. The backyard is mostly shaded- removing some vegetation would be nice to let in a little sunshine. We enjoyed our stay and love Anna Maria Island!

Island paradise!
We stayed here August 2021 with family of 11 people, ages 10-75. Plenty of space in the house for everyone to have rooms and bathrooms. Amazing beach just a block away! Center of the island so it's a short distance going north or south for the day. Excellent home, would definitely stay again.
Some things to note for renters and the property to management to care for:
Minimal dishes in kitchen. We ended up buying 5 coffee cups at the dollar store as there was only 4 when we arrived
No pantry items! No salt or pepper, no seasonings of any kind. Pantry was bare on arrival. We had to purchase everything, leaving pantry items behind, hopefully they were there for the next renters. Don't know if it gets gutted after each renter or maybe the last people used everything. We rent vacations homes each year and there is always at least seasonings from either the owners or past tenants. We arrived in the late evening so the only store open was Walgreens with slim food pickings for breakfast options. Went shopping next day and stocked up, so just fair warning to guests to be prepared.
No toiletries in bathrooms. I expected that and brought all of my own and my families, but others in our group were surprised at that. Thought I would say it so other renters would know.
The first 4 mornings there were at least 50-70 dead flies all over the living room, kitchen, hallways. I had to sweep them up each morning. There were still some after that, but not as many. There weren't many flying around and the ones that were were very lethargic. When I asked about it they said the exterminator had been there the week prior and perhaps that is why they were all dying. I would rather have them dead than that many flying around the house, but it was pretty gross to wake up to each day
Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. Some furniture, like night stands, were a bit beat up, but I can only imagine in a rental home. A good cleaning of them would really help though.
We had some trouble with the settings on the tv on arrival. Someone had put a parental code on the Fire TV that no one seemed to know. They had a tech come out right away and got it fixed and helped us out. Great customer service and fast help
Outdoor shower was awesome!
Outdoor furniture was nice and in good shape. Pool was clean. My husband did have to skim it each morning but easy to do.
Exterior of house needs annual cleaning.
Pool table room needs new carpet and a room fan. No ac, it gets hot.

Florida Family Vacation
washing machine and dryer very noisy. Rattled the entire time during various loads.
TV sets require mutiple controllers. very confusing to use.
no instructions provided.
Regrigerator needed adjustment up to keep food cold
adjusted setting to 9 ( the coldest setting)
Pool need sweeping/skimming every day due to droppings of surrounding Palm trees.
Palm trees need grooming badly. Many clusters of dead palms in yard. left very bad impression on initial arrival to property.

Maintenance needed
We rent on Anna Maria Island 3 to 4 times a year and this is the worst one we have stayed in. This home is not well maintained at all. It is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and paint job. In addition it needs a wipe down of all the interior doors and light fixtures as they are very dusty and also needs a cleaning of all the air filters. The landscape around the pool needs to be trimmed to keep it from falling in the pool and avoid constant dirt in it. Grill did not heat up. There were blinds missing on one of the bedroom french doors, others were broken throughout the house. All of the exterior doors were hard to open and close. There were stains on the ceiling where there appears to have been multiple water leaks. It is very evident this is a rental that they have just fixed quickly with a band aid rather than properly maintain the home. Although, I will say that the sinks and showers and toilets appeared to have been cleaned thoroughly. The house is a great house and could be a great place to stay if some maintenance work is done. The management company was very friendly and easy to work with. Like I said before we rent on the island multiple times a year and this is the worst maintained home we have been in especially for the price we paid.

Best family vacation. The house was fantastic. We had a family of 12. With 7 adults and 5 children. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The beach was a very short walk away from the house. We can't wait to come back!!

Great place for quiet getaway!
This was a really nice place with an A+ location if you want to be close to the beach. Very easy access to the beach without having to cross any busy streets. Large home with multiple bedrooms which works well if you have a big group staying there. The backyard was a hit with a surprisingly large heated pool and hottub. If you are looking for a place that is "next to the action" of the bars/restaurants, etc... this is not it. If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax at the beach/ppol, cook some great meals and enjoy time with family/friends, this is it. Great stay overall!

More lighting needed.
Property needs lighting around pool area. Very dark in early evenings. Was not able to enjoy the beautiful back yard as much as we would have liked.

Family vacation to Margaritaville
Real enjoyed the house. We spent the majority of the time at the pool area which is fantastic. The house was very clean and well appointed. The house is a very short walk to the beach and close to the trolley stops which run up and down the island. The tv in the living room broke during our stay and was quickly replaced after a call to the rental office. Overall this was a great visit and I would recommend this house.

“Margaritaville” is clean, spacious and offers all the amenities for a fun vacation! The house was extremely close to the beach and the trolley stop. Rental process was easy and the employees were kind and informative! We can’t wait to come back!

Margaritaville 4-30-19
Overall, we had a very good time and the house served our purposes well.
The pool was a disaster when we got there. Allegedly, there were some bad storms and wind leading up to our arrival. The pool was full of debris, which did not appear to be addressed at all in quite some time. I spent several hours of my own time removing a full garbage bag full of leaves, sticks, palm leaves, etc. from the pool. There was also a significant amount of dirt in the bottom of the pool which needs to be addressed by vacuuming the pool twice a week. With all of the trees and landscaping near the pool, it needs to be maintained more frequently. I spent 30 minutes, twice a day to remove debris, empty the skimmers, etc. The walls of the pool are all stained and discolored.
The tiki bar area is a nice idea, but it is time to repair or rethink the thatch roof and overhang, which are both in severe disrepair,
The pool room downstairs is a nice idea, but some seating and tables would be nice.
Otherwise, we had a great time. Thank you!

Large Home & Easy Wslj to Beach!
We had a great time & loved location. Kids & adults enjoyed the nice pool & hot tub. Could have used hangers in all closets & property could use tree trimming . When the wind was blowing the trees on side of house banged against house which caused several guests to get up at different hours to see what was banging. Other than that it had everything we needed or wanted. We requested a knob fix on dryer & they had someone there in 20 minutes! Thank you so very much!

The house is a great location!! The pool is really nice. Trees in need of good trim.
The house is a great location, the living area needs new furniture, as it is very broken down.. the beds are cheap and Uncomfortable.. the air never really cools down in the bedrooms. So bring you own fans.. dishes and Utensils are very cheap.. bed sheets are cheap and scratchy ...
it was our first time to Anna Maria we really enjoyed it but the red tide arrived the same time as we did .. had to drive to st Pete’s beach.. we’d stay there again if they get new furniture and better Quality Beds and sheets.. it was nice having all the bedrooms and bathrooms.

We stayed 8 years ago and loved it and came back this year and loved it just the same.
We were worried about how the house would look 8 years later but was impressed that it didn’t look that much different and everything was just used to the normal use. Thank you for everything!!!

Nice house with plenty of room for 11 people. Great location, 2 blocks from the beach.
The house was clean and well equipped with plenty of beach chairs and a wagon for moving stuff to the beach. Plenty of room for our group of 11. Check in and check out were easy. Located conveniently to shops, restaurants, and grocery. Easy walk to the beach. The pool and hot tub were great. We would stay here again.

Disapointment!
After arriving at the residence we discovered the property was in mediocre condition at best. As a licensed realtor and property manager myself, I fully understand what it takes to maintain a property and what are typical rental abuses. I also realize a management company cannot make an owner do maintenance (unless its a safety issue) but also expect that being said a management company has a responsibility to their reputation to have minimum standards of maintenance from an owner.
SAFETY
Loose deck railing on back master bedroom on the third floor! Didnt realize this until 20 month old grandaughter walked over and pushed on this DANGEROUS!!!
All Doors dont latch or shut properly on the home
Saw 4 RATS,not mice, at the pool area during the stay. One fell in the pool while the kids were playing, another came out in the landscaping during the day and was walking around. My grandson got up to "get" it!!!
Mold all over the back of the door on the 3rd floor exit from the elevator.
Other items
Mattresses worn out lumpy and uncomfortable.
Living room furniture worn out and very dirty, uncomfortable
Many broken items throughout the home
Kitchen cooking items scarce and/or broken, i.e. waffle iron broke. Not much to cook with, very dissapointing
Wii missing parts, couldn't connect
no complete board games in the entire house
TV kept showing "no signal" and couldn't get it to work most of the time. Probably due to the cheapest version of cable available so couldn't keep a signal.
Kitchen faucet sprayer broke while we were there.
Pool furniture wore out and inadequate deck furniture to sit and enjoy.
Hot tub and cable had NO INSTRUCTIONS! Took 3 days to find the "Hidden" controls for the hot tub, total bummer considering all we had was a circulating mini pool for 3 days of our time there.
3rd floor bedrooms front and back lamp in each bedroom were broke and left there.
3rd floor back master, entry door didn't close, closet door springs broken, ceiling fan squaeked so loud couldn't use it at night.
Trundle bedroom (these are used by kids) and the dvd player didn't work! Really!
The landscaping is so overgrown the pool got no sun! I paid the extra $100 and it was still too cold for swimming and forget any sunbathing.
The playroom was great for pool, but the disgusting dirt and old crab legs left on the shelves was beyond gross!
The whole house speaker system didnt work
The bright side was the weather, beach and your maintenance people were awesome

Disappointed! Pictures no longer represent condition of the house
If you're looking for unstained MATTRESSES, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a POOL AREA that is manicured, this is not where you want to stay. Though the house is in a great location and the online pictures look great, the property is not being cared for and kept up. The whole back yard is overgrown with so much dead foliage hanging over you that the pool receives no sun. It is in the shade all day. The growth is in constant contact with the house so when the wind blows it's hitting the house which makes it hard to sleep. As far as the mattresses are concerned, I was disappointed in their condition. Each mattress is lumpy and covered in, what appears to be, urine stains. The list of problems is too long to list everything here but if you have issues with MOLD please find somewhere else to stay. The kitchen toe-kick and areas around the sink and one counter top are covered in mold. The house has settled and the bathrooms have cracked grout where water is getting through. There are stains on the living room ceiling from water issues. The interior of the elevator door is covered in mold as well. One of the drawers in the kitchen also doesn't stop; one of our group didn't know this until the drawer fell onto her foot. We contacted the management company about all these things but were told that they can only fix the things approved by the owners. So they know about the problems but don't want to fix them. So not sure if Anna Maria Island Accommodations or the owners are to blame but I will avoid both on my next visit. Just wanted a clean, comfortable and cared for house but was totally disappointed. I specifically picked a house with a heated pool so we could enjoy it in January. With no sun on the pool, it made it impossible to enjoy it since it was the weather was extremely cold while we were there. The pool guys asked us to tell them to get the trees and plants trimmed as it was making a mess in the pool. The next door neighbors were having their trees trimmed and they were having to cut stuff from our yard off as it was growing into their yard. Found the porch railing on second floor completely unattached. Too much broken, damaged stuff on this house. Sadly, this home could be amazing but isn't. Only giving it a 2 star due to the location.

Awesome Property
We visit Holmes Beach every summer and this is the place to stay if you have a large family. The pool with Tiki hut and bar is great. There are even coconut trees around the pool area. The landscaping is awesome. The house is very spacious and everyone in my family (8 adults and one teenager) were able to spread out. My senior citizen parents stayed on the first floor but could have easily rode the elevator up if they were on the second floor. The walk to the beach is very short and you can see the gulf from the upstairs balconies. We did have a problem with air in the upstairs area but the mangt. company responded right away. They tell renters to leave the air on 82 degrees when they leave so it took the air all night to even get down to 74 degrees. The air upstairs would never get below 74 degrees. Of course, it was very hot outside the week we were on Anna Maria Island. I highly recommend this property.

We travel to the beach every year with my extended family of 14 and WOW this was the most amazing place we have stayed. The pool is amazing, bar table for the adults, shallow area and hot tub area (not hot) for the little ones. Tiki bar outside by pool with fridge. 6 bedrooms with AWESOME beds, so comfy. Plenty of space for everyone. Well equipped kitchen and lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, toys. Pool table and ping pong downstairs. Elevator for carrying up heavy groceries and suitcases, or for people not good on stairs. AND like a short block walk to a non-crowded beach. Check-in and out were easy at the property management office, that also gave good suggestions for things to do it the area. Does it get any better? No, it does not. We will stay here whenever we come back to Anna Maria.
