About this bed and breakfast

This is a great location, about 15 min. from the PHX Sky Harbor Airport, with close proximity to ASU, MCC, Cubs and A's spring training, freeways, and restaurants. High 10 ft ceilings, Keyless entry/self check-in and plenty of parking, make it a safe, comfortable stay. No pets, no service animals, no smoking, no vaping, or illegal drugs.

Located in a small rural pocket of Mesa called Lehi, on a 1.7 acre horse property, centrally located, and close to most everything in the Phoenix metro area. This is an 800 SF guest house with a leather sofa, a very comfortable new cal king memory foam mattress in the master and a double high quick self inflating queen air mattress also available. It has a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and lots of storage for longer term guests. Also, free wifi and a large Samsung smart TV with all of your favorite Apps, so relax and enjoy your private get-a-way!

Enjoy sitting outside on the patio as the gorgeous Arizona sunset calms your mind after an exciting day in Mesa. You may see horses, cows, dogs, chickens, peacocks, birds, and occasionally hear a lawn mower or a tractor. A true country experience. Sleeps 4 with all the necessities of home. Just let us know what you need and we'll do our best to accommodate you. Free laundry service is also available.

Marci and Rolland are friendly hosts and Marci is very responsive to text messages. The neighborhood is very quiet (especially for Mesa) though there was really no shaded area in the yard where we could sit out in the fresh air. It was also hard to open the front door for light and air because there was a gap of about 6 inches between the bottom of the screen door and the door sill and we didn’t want to risk any “critters” getting in. The bungalow was very clean. Marci was responsive about bringing bathroom cleaning products as soon as we requested some - since we were staying 2 weeks and wanted to clean at the end of week 1. A suggestion for guests staying longer than a week would be to leave 2 sets of sheets. The owner had to come into the apartment and unlock a closet in the bathroom to give us a second set when we requested it. There were already 2 full sets of towels available. Although a washer/dryer is available in the owner’s garage attached to the apartment, we found it somewhat inconvenient to have to contact the hosts in advance to arrange to do laundry so she could unlock the door between the apartment and garage. Also, the fact there was only the front door for egress in case of fire (the back door was locked) made us a little nervous. Overall, a nice well- appointed bungalow for 2 persons with a very comfortable bed and comfortable living room furniture.

To say our stay was perfect is an understatement! The instructions and communication were precise and the location was a dream! The bed was our favorite of any location we’ve stayed! Everything was even better than pictured! Marci and Roland were so kind and hearing the animals in the area (horses, etc) was so cute! We will be back!

Beautiful outdoor space on acreage. The neighbors had dogs and horses & a couple of mules. Birds singing galore giving us a morning symphony of all our own.

This property is lovely and was convenient for our stay. Our daughter's wedding reception was at a venue nearby, and we were very pleased with the proximity to everything. We enjoyed a peaceful, quiet stay in a perfect location. Our lodging was VERY clean and we appreciated everything about the place.

Everything was perfect! The place was absolutely adorable and super clean. The hosts were very accessible. The land was beautiful, there were horses, cows, mini horses, chickens. One night our kids came over and we sat by the firepit, it was so very relaxing! We will definately stay here again. If I could I would give 10 stars!

I can't say enough about how great this place is. It's exactly as pictured and Marci couldn't have been more accommodating during our entire stay. We found it very easy to get around town and it was nice that the place is in a quiet area. The house is beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you need. Truly “Country Living in the City”. The property is exactly as listed. Hubby and I spent 3 weeks here. Property is very convenient to the freeway system, allowing access to the entire metro area. We hiked or biked every day, in all parts of the valley. We were able to hike many mountain areas… all within a 50 minute drive. After an exhausting day of hiking/biking, we enjoyed relaxing on the new brick patio in the evening. We cooked and ate in nightly (kitchen fully equipped). If you prefer to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, this property will not disappoint. Highly recommend. Thank you Marci and Roland!

The apartment is right off the garage of the owner, so Marci is very available if you should need something. The apartment is comfortable enough for two people. It has everything that you would need for a short or long stay. The photos are what you see and there is plenty of room to stretch your legs with the large side yard. Can view the horses or listen to the donkey a couple corals down! Over-all, it was a quiet neighborhood, wonderful experience and I will miss the Shill family.

Marci was an excellent host. Communication was top notch. Very friendly. The rental was perfect for two people. Very clean and had everything you need. With the animals around it felt like home cause we live in the country in Wisconsin. Yet it’s right in town. Marci was so extremely helpful when I had some minor medical issue to deal with. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to rent from again

Had a nice stay here. The place is nicely decorated, comfortable, quiet and convenient. Perfect for one person or a couple. Marci was great answering all my questions while I got settled in. I had some trouble with the keyless entry but mostly because I'm not familiar with them. I would stay here again and will recommend to family or friends.

Nice quiet and safe neighborhood that was a comfortable and clean attached living space to host’s home. Everything you would need was available. Could have stayed longer. Would have liked to have more control over thermostat, but at the same time it is probably more cost effective for owner, and in turn keeps the cost down on staying there.

Great property. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Had everything we needed. We enjoyed the animals . . . dogs, donkey, horses, goats, mini ponies, etc. that were in the general area. It was minutes from town and the Usery Mountains. Easy access to 202 and 101.
