Good location near the bay and within walking distance of restaurants, bars, grocery, etc. Unit was clean and quiet. It’s a short drive to Ashland, Bayfield and other points of interest. We’d stay there again!

My mom rented the condo for a birthday trip for me and my significant other. Nice place.

Very comfortable.
Property was exactly as shown. Basic, clean, and quiet. Nice to be across the street from the bay; I enjoyed time in the Adirondack chairs watching my husband fish on the pier. It was really special to have a doe and fawn visit right outside the balcony. I would recommend this apartment.

Clean, Comfortable, Quiet
Nice apartment that's clean and comfortable. All necessary linens and kitchen utensils are furnished. Would be nice to have a toaster, but otherwise it was a great place to stay.

I thought this apartment was a really great find - It's right across the way from the Washburn Inn, which is where you check-in (I think it's the same owner for both), and although you're not right on the water, there's a bit of a water view from the bedrooms and the seagulls flying around made me feel like I was right on the beach :) ... Staff at the Washburn Inn are also very sweet and helpful!
As the first reviewer, I feel like I should give a little more detail on a few key things... Firstly, this place was really clean - When the host says that everything is new, he's not joking! The microwave and hairdryer still had the little plastic outlet protectors on them and it's obvious that the furniture is all new as well. (Note that the building itself has some 80s carpet going on, so don't let this concern you!) Also, in case it's helpful - this apartment unit is on the 2nd floor of a small 2-story building, but there's actually a stairlift in the main lobby area that can assist you in getting up the stairs if needed.
As for the apartment itself, there's a lovely little patio area off the side of the living room which was a nice place for 2 to sit and chat, eat, etc. The entire apartment was pretty spacious, although the 2nd bedroom/office is a bit small. It's important to note that the sleeper in this room is not a queen and honestly is probably best for children. I'm 5'6" and my feet were nearly dangling off the end when I tried it out. The bed in the master bedroom was indeed a queen and the bed and pillows were pretty comfy. The kitchen is a nice size, and is equipped with the basics - plates, utensils, pots, pans. Just a note that things like dish soap, aluminum foil, or condiments were not provided at the time of this stay, so if you're planning a longer stay or want to cook up some meals while you're there (which I could totally see being comfortable in this space), you would have to purchase some of those "extras".
Overall, although the location is slightly out of the way compared to Bayfield, I actually enjoyed being in a bit of a quieter area. I would definitely recommend this space to others.

Clean and cozy apartment close to all that the Apostle Islands have to offer
